Wonderful relaxing resort with lots of amenities. Resort was located close to shopping, dining and entertainment. This was a great place to rest and relax. Lots of pools and jacuzzis both inside and outside as well as close to the beautiful beach.

This place truly is fabulous. The pools are amazing and our 3 bedroom oceanfront condo was actually luxurious. 2 negatives: while being luxurious, the room didn't feel very kid friendly ( we had to move a lot of glass decor to keep little hands off and all the plates and glasses were fancy); and the DJ during the day was much too loud. I come to the beach to relax and I had a headache from the thumping bass every afternoon

The community & resort were beautiful & well maintained. The PH03 unit was nicely furnished & had plenty of space with its 5 bedrooms & bathrooms. Having multiple pools was great & never seemed overly crowded because of all the space. Would absolutely return & recommend to other travelers.

The resort is located in an excellent beach front location in North Myrtle beach with excellent layout where every suite has a fantastic view of the beach and the pools area. We stayed in suite 1002 which has 4 spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, very comfortable for 4 couples. The suite has a fully equipped kitchen (coffee maker is available however you have to bring your own ground coffee), there's a washer and dryer in the suite as well. I decided to stay at the last minute. from Friday leaving Monday (June 6, 2016). I loved the room, had a 2 bedroom oceanfront condo, everything in the condo was nice. Stainless steel appliances, view of the wonderful ocean & pools. The swim up bar was great, the Jacuzzi's were nice, the staff was incredible. Dee-lynn who works at the pool side bar was wonderful, Ms. Emma & Brie at the front desk, was awesome... just a great experience overall! I will be back!

Great beach, view from room awesome, clean, not too crowded, unit size very large, comfy beds, nice decor, classy upscale feel to it, and everything easily accessible. Weather great. Staff friendly and helpful. Housekeeping not great, never came until called and then took forever. Checking in and out takes forever. Elevators awful during peek check out periods. 9 out of 10

Finally...we found a great place for our family to stay in Myrtle Beach. I can't say enough great things about this place. We had a one bedroom luxury condo and it fit myself and my husband and our two kids perfectly. the interior of the condo building itself was wonderful. After staying in other hotels in Myrtle I couldn't believe how nice the interior hallways were! Our condo was 710 and it was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. North Beach Plantation is a really nice place. The staff is very friendly and for the most part the place is very clean. But the beds were not very comfortable the carpet was very dirty. Some of the light fixtures did not work. We usually vacation in Hilton Head. Hilton Head is actually much cheaper and less congested, and a lot more private.

We rented a 2bed/2bath condo on the 15th floor of the Indigo tower. The condo was beautiful, clean and had amazing views. The condo was very roomy with nice furniture and comfortable beds. It was perfect for us since we have 2 small children that need bottles made or snacks throughout the day. Three of the pools were shallow and perfect for toddlers as they could jump in and play without fear of drowning. Easy access to the beach and the food is great at the poolside bar. If you are adults, great, there is excellent privacy and access to alcoholic beverages. As a family with kids, there are smaller pools and a lazy river with giant chess and checkers for them. There is also a very nice restaurant on property. It is, however, very e... Read more

We were given a room on another floor and told that specific rooms could not be guaranteed. Then why offer to rent specific rooms? For such a beautiful hotel it is very poorly managed. No ice machines on premises and tiki bar charges $.50 per cup of ice and complain when you ask. Poolside bathrooms were a trailer that had the nastiest floors I've ever seen. The bathroom smelled so bad it was truly difficult to go in there. Poolside entertainment was laughable. Have vacationed here at least one or more times each year for the last 7 years. It has been a premier resort with grand amenities. Having just visited there again I found several issues to note. First of all, check-in can be time consuming. Too little desk area and help for the size of the resort. Then you may as well figure that you will not get your room until the "magic" check-in time of 4 PM no matter when you arrive even if check-out is 11 AM for those departing. What that says is the... We enjoyed our stay very much and enjoyed the pools, tiki bar and beach. However, our four bedroom unit was disappointing. The carpet was old, stained and dirty. Kitchen pots and pans were worn out. Many items missing from what I considered a stocked kitchen. Given the 4-star rating and price of these units, I would have expected better. I still gave this 4 stars here, due to the outdoor complex, pools, beach and location in North Myrtle.

I have stayed at North Beach Plantation 6 or 7 times now in the beachfront condos, and love the location of the property (close to so many things like Barefoot Landing) as well as the view (gorgeous view of ocean & down the beach from Indigo Tower). And there are so many pools to choose from, just get there early if you want a chair, especially if you need shade. My family and I stayed in a 3 bedroom oceanfront condo in the Jasmine tower. The condo was very spacious with nice accommodations. The property is huge and has great amenities. Condo was great (except for mildew issues in master bath shower). For the price, we expected better cleanliness. Condo was huge, nicely furnished and had everthing we needed, You cannot beat the view from the balcony! This resort is huge - so parking and getting up/down on elevators is a bit of a pain, but not terrible. Beach access is very convenient, but beach can get very crowded at times. During high tide, there is not much beachfront. Would definitely go back!

This was my first visit to Myrtle Beach and I am completely sold. This is my new substitute for the Caribbean. The rooms are clean and very spacious. Very modern and welcoming apartments. I visited with my mom, son and niece and we all enjoyed our time. The access to the beach and the amenities allowed us to stay close to the property and limited additional transportation needs.

If you don't want to stay in a typical resort, then North Beach Plantation is for you. Quiet little neighborhood environment, the homes are big enough to feel comfortable, but small enough to keep your family together and the homes are gorgeous. And the homes are right in the middle of Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach so you are in a good location. Would easily recommend. A+

Wonderful relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, clean facilities. Go to the beach or there's lots of pools to choose from. We've stayed here 5 or 6 years and never had a bad time or any major complaints. The condos are luxurious and clean, with good air conditioning. Crowded beaches, insufficient staff, dirty pools. Plenty of young families but seems to try to cater to a wealthy singles crowd and misses all the marks. The 21 Main Restaurant was very good. Internet speeds (91 Mbps down) rival all other hotels/condos in the area. I have been vacationing in both South and North Myrtle Beach for over 15 years and this was hands down my best experience. The prices are a bit steep but they have a lot of facilities to maintain, so it may be worth it. I would only stay there onc... Read more

The hotel and amenities were off the chart....some of the staff seemed as if that was the last place they wanted to be and we were inconveniencing them even if we requested a towel while others went above and beyond, however that can be the case no matter where you go. However I highly recommend this place as my family and I loved it.

We found leaves on the floor, a trash container full of trash, tv control missing batteries and battery compartment cover. Patio remote control operated the neighbor's patio lights and patio fan. Patio door had to be lifted to lock. The biggest surprise was the panties hanging on the lights above the dining table.

After a few "hiccups" in our townhouse (one being a faulty toilet) we were upgraded to a brand new home. Management took the issues seriously and addressed the concerns. It's beautiful place, was quiet (we went in October) and highly recommend it. I would definitely consider staying there again.

My family and I love staying in the villas/condos at North Beach Plantation. Family friendly and safe environment. We've stayed here a few times and it's now become our go to place! If I had one bad thing to say it would be that the back of the villas are near a Mexican restaurant that has a live band at night and that can become bothersome if you are trying to go to bed before midnight.

We always stay at North beach plantation. The rooms, pools and beach access are unbeatable. They keep the place very clean. We have noticed some of the rooms furnishings are begining to get worn out especially the sofa. i think the owners replace with their own choices which in some cases are of poor quality and comfort. Do not get a room near the elevators..can be very noisy. opt for a two bedroom instead of a one. for the few hundred bucks more you'll be glad you did. they have a lot of fi... Read more

We were pleased with all aspects of our stay. All of us plan to return not only for another girls weekend but to bring our families as well. The condo was beautifully decorated and overlooked the ocean. It was well appointed with everything that we needed. We were in 1508. The pool and hot tub area's both inside and ou... Read more

I took my mom on a mini vacation to thank her for her help with my wedding in July. We saw an add on a travel website for amazing deals for this resort. I have friends who have a condo next door, so I had seen this fantastic property and wanted to stay. I was sad to find out that the deal was for a town home property that did not have a view. So, I called the North Beach Plantation to see if they had any other good deals. The staff was extremely helpful and helped me find a one bedroom deluxe su... Read more

My husband and I decided very last minute to book a mini getaway after our wedding. We found a good deal and decided to book it and head to Myrtle. We could not have been happier to find such a great place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights in a 1 King condo. It was clean, smelled good, and had great views! We did not take part in the pool area, but wow it looked amazing. There is so much to do and see close by. One recommendation we have is to have better signs up for where to check in. We got the... My husband and I went to this condo off season. The one bedroom is small but adequate. But we loved the two full bathrooms, both were very roomy. The living room furniture was uncomfortable and a little worn. The rooms were very clean. We were a little disappointed that their pool bar and sandwich shop were not open but can't wait to come during the summer. Plenty of towels in the room and by the pool.

Overall our stay this weekend was good. Pros: The resort has a beautiful pool area and the weather could not have been more beautiful. The resort is on the beach with beautiful beach views. It is literally in front of barefoot landing and close to the outlets and restaurants. Cons: Our bedroom window was falling the hall and there wasn't any shade to block the light from the hall. It kept us awake both nights. The bathroom lightbulb were out and there isn't any natural light coming in so... Read more

Stayed in a beautifully appointed ocean front 1BR condo for 2 nights and was sad to check out. The only slightly negative comment about it was that the kingsized bed was a bit uncomfortable -- not enough to warrant a lower rating though. Very reasonable rate for such a lovely place. The weather was too chilly to use the pool area which was over the top since there were at least 5 pools. The beach was very nice too. The location is close to many nice restaurants and attractions. There are several pools, lazy river, activities for the kids, clean beaches, centrally located. This will be our fifth year and love every minute.

Barefoot Landing and many dining options including Nacho Hippo, Hamburger Joes and The Flying Fish are within walking distance or a short drive. We had many negative issues. First we didn't realize this was similar to a time share property with each unit being personally owned; therefore the staff had limited control on each unit. The office wasn't aware that there was chipped furniture, a burn in the carpet, no directions to the washer/dryer and the kitchen was not well stocked. NO MAID SERVICE! The catered events were managed well and the food was delicious. The staff was polite and eager to please us all. It was a wonderful experience.

This is a luxury resort that I have stayed at 4 times. Although check-in was easy and we got the high floor we had requested, I was a little disappointed that my master bath shower was full of mold and one of the sinks had a missing stopper. At this price point I expect near perfection, or at least not disrepair.
