Although the hotel is undergoing renovations, from what is already finished it looks beautiful. We will definitely be back to see it when it's finished. The hotel is located near most everything. We really enjoy our stay.

We stay at this Hampton Inn each year prior to getting into our condo rental. This year the hotel was under major renovation, which they informed us of when we booked. It was a great stay despite the renovations. The reno's did not interfere with our stay or sleep. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back next year.

Front desk lady very helpful. But my thoughts and observation is Sharon in breakfast .she is number one. She made sure we all were doing well and went out of her way to prepare us with a super breakfast and her interaction with all the guests and plenty of smiles . We actually thought she was in the management team. We found out she wasn't, we all thought she is amazing, because of Sharon we will return. So to you thank you and look forwards in seeing your smiles .

One bed smelled like urine, another bed felt sandy. There was large dead bug in the stairwell and the staff isn't overly friendly. Breakfast wasn't terrible for complimentary but I would never ever stay here again. This place felt more like an Super 8 than a Hampton Inn.

Hotel is under exterior renovations. Interior renovations complete on several, but not all floors. Room may have been renovated, but old furniture remains. Staff not very helpful. Given a room that someone else was already in. Overcharged by front desk personnel for soft drink. Will not stay at this Hampton again.

I have never slept so close to the elevator and was so comfortable. Everyone was great from the GM Andy to the housekeeper with glasses! The breakfast lady Denise was really good about leaving warm food out so the stragglers like me could eat breakfast! Indoor clean and smells good. They are renovating but the construction workers are nice and stay out of the way. We stayed here while they were renovating the establishment. Our stay was over the weekend so there wasn't much going on as far as construction is considered. The interior was very nice and clean, and the exterior was currently under going the renovations. There was equipment taking up much needed parking spots, and construction debris laying about. The parking is absolutely terrible here, very small area to park with limited spots. They allow people with boat trailers to park in the lot, w... Read more

Staff was friendly but housekeeping could use better employees. Pool looked iffy but was prepared for that based on other reviews. Most complained of a film on top of the water and after walking past I knew my child and I weren't getting in. But probably won't be returning next trip down however.

After checking into our room I found what appeared to look like blood stains on several parts of the first drawer in the room. I called guest services immediately upon finding this to let them know and they were very apologetic and said they would have someone take care of it right away. After returning from dinner I found nothing had been done and no communication as to why. It was late so I waited until the morning to deal with it and called the front desk and I was put on hold. Staff was nice but that's all that was ok. Place was doing renovations. There were leaky ceilings in the dining area and no vending machines. We were given rooms near the ice machine and there were families with kids who were running up and down the halls and yelling. Families should be put up in halls different from people who are there for business or who don't have kids. For one of our 3 nights stay our room was not made up. We stayed here as a family and with the rest of our daughter's softball team. It is close to a lot of attractions as well as the facility where she was playing. It was 5-10 minutes from the beach and was everything that you'd expect from the Hampton name. The only minor complaint was the exterior renovations going on during the day and the lack of parking late in the day. Other than that, it was a clean hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were very nice and clean and newly renovated, and breakfast was great but parking was a nightmare. We rode around every night looking for parking for at least 10 minutes. We had everything we needed in our room. Also, they are renovating and the machines start every morning around 8 or so and we heard them every morning but it wasn't too bad. We needed to enjoy every minute at the beach so getting up early wasn't that big of a deal for us. I would stay here again if I needed to

The breakfast hostess was great and it was a standard Hampton Inn breakfast, which I love. Room 214 was a suite. The living room area is separate room. The hotel rooms are very clean and spacious; really no complaints about that. The common areas are clean as well, but old and dated. The pool is as well. There is a sign in the lobby that says the hotel has just been purchased and is being renovated. BUT, my husband and I saw that same sign 10 months ago when we stayed here.
