We had a great experience at this hotel. We would stay here again. The rooms were neat and clean. The staff was so helpful and pleasant. We ate in the hotel restaurant and everything was so good! Can't wait to return!

This was not what I've come to expect from Radisson, beds didn't work. Ceiling in bathroom had rust bent up tiles. Air conditioning work when it wanted to. As for the Internet it had a connection mind of its own. The staff were kind but slow. I guess it's a southern thing.

I couldn't be more please with the entire staff. From check in to housekeeping to checkout. They were wonderful and so polite and pleasant. They treated me as if they truly cared about the experience I was having while in their hotel.

we used it was a stay before going on a cruise . Offed a package that include night stay breakfast parking (for time on cruise) and traspot to the dock and back the price was very good. thw cost of the package was a good vulce if had not done it the cost of parking at dock would have been $18.00 per day so for a 5 day cruise the price of whole parkage was not much more then just parking

Rooms must be furnished as designed and expected. 1) One of the two rooms, 412, I reserved was missing a refrigerator and hair dryer. I informed the front desk right after check in. It was noted on a list for maintenance or management. Next day there was no action. Then later the same day, I finally got some action. First attempt to replace refrigerator failed since it wasn't working. Second attempt after complaining again, the next one worked. 2) The phone wasn't working. Phone replacement didn... Read more

I booked through a 3rd party and my flight got changed so I was not going to make it to the hotel the first night. I called ahead to see if that meant they would give the room away. I was not asking for a refund, just wanted to make sure the room would still be there when I got there the next day. The front desk on the phone refused to give me any answers or even listen to my question because I booked 3rd party. Very frustrating. Additionally, the fitness center was pretty non-existent. Bo... What a beautiful hotel , unfortunately it is understaffed and when one asks a question, staff should know the answer. Really wanted to utilize the pool area, but it was closed.saw many people leaving restaurant due to no one there to wait on them

This is the text I provided customer service: I would like to provide you feedback on my most recent visit to the Radisson Hotel Charleston Airport. I did check in a little early, however the front desk was able to give me a room. Within a couple of hours of settling into the room, somebody attempted to open the door with a key card. I had the top latch engaged so they were not able to enter. There was no call of maintenance or room service. I called to the front desk to complain. They promised... Read more

The night before our cruise, my granddaughter and I stayed at this hotel. By first appearance, you know it is an older venue. However, the entry is nice and we were hopeful! Room was large, CLEAN, renovated furnishings - bath was small but clean. The front desk clerk, Kendra, was extremely helpful and very nice. We ordered room service and had to change it 3 times, as they were out of foodâ?¦.but, they comped the food we ate!!!! And, comped our breakfast, too -- a nice buffet in a nice di... Read more

This hotel is not the best you'll ever stay at, but it is far from the worst. It is a good value for the money. Room was clean, employees were friendly and accommodating. Location is great for both getting to the nearby Air Force base as well as close to downtown Charleston. I would not recommend the breakfast, but the bar is good.

I had a great stay at this hotel, it's a little older but it is well kept and clean. The staff from the desk clerk to housekeeping was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. My room was clean and comfortable. Very good restaurant on site with a bar. Minutes from airport and downtown Charleston. Dozens of restaurant nearby as well as a mall for shopping. They even have a safe in the room should you need one. The pool area was very clean and the fitness room was okay. They also have meeting rooms ... Read more

The outside needs some work. The lobby is very nice. Some floors need to drop the temperature. We had to change rooms because the first room had two Sleep Number beds that were not working. The staff changed us to a better room without Sleep Number bed. The airport shuttle runs every half hour.

The staff was very nice. Everyone tried to accommodate the crumbling building the best they could. There was black mold in our first room and our second room still had trash in it from the previous guests.

Weird hotel. Lovely lobby but when we got off elevator at our floor things started to go downhill. Our room 605 and the one next to it had no number on wall, our toilet was running and took two calls to maintenance to fix, our phone was so staticky you could not hear person on other end at front desk, sleep number bed controls didn't work although they were comfortable. When I told the guy about the controls he said "yeah, you have to push the buttons really really hard". When we told the gi... Read more

The "Sleep Number" beds is their number one advertisement but the beds didn't work and the 8 of us didn't sleep well on them at all. The remotes would not work so we had to sleep in the position it was in - some sunken, some hard as a rock, some with huge lump in the middle, and some you both sunken and huge lump.

The only good things about the hotel was we were able to leave our car while we went on a cruise and they shuttled us to the port. The rooms need a renovation. Everything was kind of shabby, the a/c didn't work well.

My family and I had a nice stay for the weekend. We came in for a weekend for a wedding. I do wish there was a continental breakfast, but over all it was really nice. The price was pretty good for Charleston during the summer. We find this for a good orcs and nice stay.

I went to look and see if the Radisson hotel I booked in April had a shuttle bus and saw it was "permanently closed" via Google. I then went to read some reviews and got more concerned after how poor they had gotten, so I called and found out this hotel is no longer Radisson. It is now called Charleston Airport Hotel. My first phone call caused me worry and after discussing it with my husband, decided to cancel. Well I was on hold for 25 minutes before someone could help. I heard a few "workers"... Read more

We didn't even stay. I had reserved two nights to stay at this hotel and they cancelled one night BY EMAIL. I didn't even get a phone call. We were stranded for the first two hours we were in Charleston while Hotels.com to find us another hotel. Jerks! They had my reservation for more than a week and they blamed it on Expedia. Um, Expedia had nothing to do with it. I booked through Hotels.com. Blame who you want, you still left me stranded and I will NEVER book at your hotel again. Thanks very m... Read more

This is a terrible hotel with awful service. We stayed for a night after a flight back to Charleston and we regret it. The place used to be a Radisson -- the chain's name is still visible on logos, not quite obscured by white paint. Now it goes by the name of Charleston Airport Hotel. The rooms are large but dirty. Filthy carpets in the rooms, even dirtier hallways, with walls in need of paint and spackle. The elevators looked like and sounded like death traps. Hallway doors didn't completely ... Read more

We stayed one night before we went on a Carnival Cruise. We left our car there while we were on the cruise. They had a van to the boat but we took a taxi back to the hotel. It's easy to find and the room was very nice. Nice big comfy bed and updated bathroom.

This hotel is right off the interstate which was nice. Near the airport and had a shuttle to the airport which is the reason for the stay. I had an early flight the following day and had a wake up call, so I can take the shuttle to the airport. You are greeted by a parking lot that needs to be redone. Then you walk into a nice lobby. The staff was there to greet you and they were nice and helpful. They made a note for the early wake up call right away and for the shuttle. I asked for a lower f... Read more

This is a former Radisson Hotel that needs major up dating, unless you are into shabby chic. You can tell it used to be quite nice. The parking lot needs repaired. The rooms need clean carpeting and bathroom deep cleaning. The sleep number bed was uncomfortable and we couldn't get it adjusted. There was no ice machine on our floor. I spent two nights at this hotel. I believe it's a former Radisson Hotel. The staff was quite pleasant. It probably was a very nice hotel at one time. The first thing I noticed was how dirty the carpets in the hallways are. I've never seen a hotel with such filthy carpet as on the 7th floor. All of the doorways have chipped painting around the room doors and needed to be repainted. I only had one set of towels. I left after the first night to go sightseeing and figured they would be replacing th... Read more

I read the reviews so I thought I knew what I was getting into. I was wrong. Despite my already low expectations this hotel earns my first 1 star hotel review. The hotel looks shabby but I had already seen pictures so that wasn't a surprise. What was a surprise was some of the things that were broken. Fixing a chipped wall might take some time or money to do - but the light switch cover that was broken in two? Replacing that would take maybe two minutes and would cost under $1. And it was obvi... The USS GRAND CANYON SAILORS ORGANIZATION had it's reunion at the Charleston Airport Hotel on Sept. 12-16, 2016. This is the worst hotel where we have stayed for reunions in our twenty-one year existence. There wasn't any room upkeep service, towels had to be requested. The room was poorly maintained, electrical outlets not working, furniture in need of replacing. They gave us service after we complained so loudly they didn't have any choice. We were at this hotel for six days with a large group for a Navy Reunion. The staff were very friendly and helpful but there were not enough of them! The hotel is transitioning from a Radisson and there are some real problems. Carpets are very dirty and give a poor impression when you get off the elevator. Our room was fine except for the odor - a trip to the dollar tree for air fresheners seemed to help. We were on the sixth floor - people on lower floors did not have recently remodeled roo...
