My husband and I visited this property on a weekend getaway with my 80 year old Dad and his lady friend. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Special thanks to Lucinda and Phil for providing us with great ideas on local dining and fun activities!

This place is a little ways away from the main drag of Myrtle Beach, but that's actually not a bad thing. It's nice and quiet. The rooms are extremely nice. The staff is very nice. The breakfast was great and the price wasn't bad either. I would definitely stay here again.

I was impressed with the room size. This Hotel offers suites only but you get a full room with the requested bed size. You then have your bathroom that has a shower/tub combination. There is a full size kitchen so if you are on a budget, bring over lunch items to cook or microwave as they have both. The living room area has a Sofa that converts to a bed as well. Room service is great. They will run the dishwasher if you have used some of the utensils or plates. There is complimentary breakfast a... Read more

we stayed for 3 months waiting for our home to be built. Let me start by saying the manager and all his staff are wonderful thoughtful people that made our stay very enjoyable. The suites are comfortable and provide a living room, kitchen and separate bedroom. Breakfast is included and plentiful with a wide variety to chose from. Three nights a week the manager has a happy hour to include beer an wine plus nightly food offerings. More than enough for dinner. Highly recommend this hotel for vacat... Read more

So a lot of hotels advertise they allow dogs until you read the fine print or call the front desk, and they have limitations of 20 lbs. or less. Staybridge likes dogs to be under 70, lbs. We put our dog on a diet for a week before we arrived and still found him to be 5 pounds over (JK everyone). Checking in was easy, I would say the hotel was pretty much full for this weekend. Our room on the third floor had 1 king & queen bed was located as a corner suite. Room was above average clean, thank y... Read more

I showed up to check in at 2 pm after driving for over 24 hrs with little rest. I was told there are no rooms and there was no effort to contact housekeeping to find out a time line. The room was clean and had plenty of space. The pillows were horrible, I called down for firmer pillows and the agent respondes whats that. I said pillows that are more firm then what's in the room. He responded no we don't and that's it. So I had to go bad pillows since I was staying a week. I always had to wait ... Read more

Stay was 6-8 June 2016 in (2) 1-Bedroom Suites w/double queen beds. It was the only place we found that would take both a cat & dog. Actually I was very surprise with the cleanliness and up keep of the property and rooms because of the animal allowance. I expected animal smells & other things that come with having pets. We only stayed there because the pets belonged to my sister who was visiting. The rooms were very clean, no smells, and except for our two bed-skirts having a stain on both ... Read more

We chose this hotel in Myrtle Beach because we are members of the rewards program with IHG, but I would choose it again, even without that designation. The staff was extremely attentive, despite being a very busy week and weekend in Myrtle Beach (it was Memorial Day weekend). The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The hospitality area with the breakfast and evening social hour were very enjoyable and featured regional foods (the smoked sausage on the breakfast bar was delicious, as we... Read more

It is hard to believe there are 58 hotels better than this one in Myrtle Beach. Our baseball team booked 11 rooms for 11 families. Not one of them was disappointed. Some even mentioned this hotel being the best hotel they have EVER stayed at. The free WiFI, breakfast, parking, grill use, and laundry saved our team $1,000's. The rooms are huge with full refrigerators and cooking amenities. This is a hidden gem for any baseball team or large group doing activities in Myrtle Beach. Ripken was 5 min... Read more

Driving into the hotel I was not sure how our room was going to be. The reason I say this is the Hotel is at the entrance of Myrtle Beach and away from everything. However as we entered our room I was extremely happy with what I saw. There was enough room for all of us. The kitchenette and small living area was perfect. Breakfast served each morning was great and we were even more surprised with Social Hour held every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This place has great staff very friendly and qu... Read more

We checked in rather late in the evening, but Melanie was helpful and courteous. We got to our room, and discovered that someone had left a mostly full bottle of wine and some takeout containers in the fridge! My husband went back downstairs to let them know, and not only did they give us another room, it was a full-blown 2 bedroom suite! We decided to stay another night, and got a great rate. The pool felt wonderful after the long day we'd had, and the hot tub was very relaxing. The breakf... Read more

My family and I stayed at the Staybridge Suites on a family vacation to Myrtle Beach. To avoid the crowds at the beach hotels and due to the other reviews for Staybridge we decided to give it a try and just drive to the beach, a decision that I now regret. Our initial reaction was that the Hotel itself is quite nice, which I will say that the Property seems to exceed expectations, I believe if the service matched the Property it would be well worth the money we paid to stay there, which is com... We have stayed at multiple Staybridge suites and enjoy that apartment type feel with having a full kitchen. This hotel is off the beaten path which for us is no big deal. It is about ten minutes from the beach and all main attractions. The initial impression of the room is it was really nice. We had a king one bedroom. Perfect for just my husband and I. The bed was comfortable, the towels were nice, and the cable was adequate. My issue I had with this hotel is there is a sign in your room that s... Read more

I enjoyed the large suites that have separate bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The whirlpool & pool area is large and outdoors which is great way to enjoy them in the summer. There is a BBQ grill under a pavilion and a basketball court. All in the rear of the hotel that has an outdoor fireplace. Take a walk around the property and sit by the small lake in the back for quiet time. All of this is great but the hotel maid service was awful. People were lined up waiting. Was told they would call and the rooms were not ready. While waiting from 430-630, observed several upset guests and how staffing approached customer service. We stayed two nights at Staybridge. We had a 2 bedroom suite. The room itself was nice. Our major complaint was the noise. It felt like we were in an apartment with neighbors living above us. We could hear music and footsteps, especially kids running. We did speak with management in regards to the music, which we noticed it eventually decreased or stopped. The breakfast was pretty good. This was only our second stay at a Staybridge. We got here VERY late into the night, and management was able to get us checked-in quickly. Last weekend some friends and I went to Myrtle Beach, SC and had the great pleasure of being able to stay at the IHG Staybridge Suites for the weekend. The hotel was absolutely amazing. Housekeeping would knock on your door before 9 which is unheard of for us. I stayed here during Bike Week. I like the location because it was away from the noise and traffic during Bike Week. Also, it was reasonably priced even though they could have got a premium during that week. Furthermore, all the conveniences...basketball court, pool, hot tub, gym, etc. Finally....free breakfast and sometimes happy hour pickings. In closing we brought our little dog. They're dog friendly but charge a $75 fee.

The employees at this hotel are stellar from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. I was personally greeted by the manager, Sue, like I was an old friend. They took the time to learn my name and I felt like I was family. Rooms are clean and totally adequate for my purposes. I would stay here anytime.
