"If you want a great cheap place to stay, this is the place to do it! Had an ov room on the 11th floor. The suite was big and clean. Elevators were fast. View was absolutely perfect. Great strong shower. Beds were a lil small and sleeper sofa not that comfy but sooo worth the money. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Oh great pools too! Parkin was a lil aggravating but GREAT place!"

"I have stayed at far better motels than this dump. And it bears the title of 'resort'??? The room was disgusting, the carpets were horrible, the shower was disgusting, the bed sheets had stains!! I want to barf just writing this review. No wonder these rooms were only $99 per night. I will never stay here again due to cleanliness!! I slept in a hoodie and on a clean towel!! The walls were dirty just ICK!!!!!!

"Me, my son, and boyfriend wanted to do a last minute beach trip since we didnt do much Memorial weekend. At first I was looking at hotels in Wrightsville beach on the beach but everything was soldout or they were charging too much. I purchased the Deluxe Ocean view room, and everything the website said the room was going to be it was. It was a decent size for 3 people, next time I will get the room with the sitting area though...We had a great view of the ocean, pool and lazy river. I didnt get a chance to take advantage of the water park, so I don't know how that was but it looked fun. I didnt like the paking situation but other than that I was pleased with my stay. I will definitely come back to this resort."

"The 1-br suite where our family spent the weekend was small but sufficient. We had everything that we were promised, including a free room upgrade. We were able to check-in without any issues or delay at 1pm on our day of arrival. The water park was great for my children (ages 7 and 11). Overall it was a good experience and I would stay here again."

"My family and I travel to Myrtle Beach quite often and have stayed in a number of hotels/resorts/campgrounds etc. By far we were MOST unhappy with this one. In our first room (which was oceanfront, that we paid extra to have) the carpet was completely soaked. There were dirty shoe prints on the kitchen and bathroom floors which meant that someone HAD to have known there was a problem in the room. We were moved to another room which had a 'view' of the ocean, not oceanfront as we had paid for, but the room was bigger and nicer so we decided to make the best of it. Then slowly but surely we started realizing that it was a crap-hole as well. The toilet took AT LEAST 30 minutes to fill back up after each flush and we had 4 people sharing 1 bathroom so that was a problem. The fridge was pouring (not dripping) water in the inside all over our food and we were told that 'all fridges do that' and I am 35 years old and know full well that all refrigerators DO NOT do that. There were no sheets for the pull out sofa. The room smelled bad. EVERY SINGLE DISH in the suite was dirty. Not just a spot or 2 here and there, FOOD stuck to everything, utensils with food hanging off of them, had to wash everything before we could use any of it. Management sent housekeeping to our room for a VIP cleaning and let me tell you, there was nothing VIP about the cleaning. Not 1 dish was cleaned and there was hair from the people before us still all over the tables and bathroom counter tops. We called the front desk. We went to the front desk. All we got was an 'I'm sorry, but what do you expect us to do about it'. Let me list a few other things that were wrong. The suite was so hot. Air seemed to barely work and we woke up drenched it was so hot in the separate bedroom. Elevators squealed and made very unnerving noises. Housekeeping talked so loud outside that they could wake the dead. The water park that they boast about on all of their online sites was only open Fri, Sat and Sun for 4 hours each day (nowhere on the website did it mention this). And here's the kicker...we went to the outside pool/lazy river/kiddie pool area on Sunday to finally enjoy the amenities since Saturdays weather was bad and low and behold, there were dirty plastic wrappers of some sort, cigarette butts, debris and just dirty nastiness in the lazy river and kiddie pool and we went to the front desk and were told they would send maintenance to clean it and we sat there for an hour and a half and no one ever showed up to clean it. There were other parents as livid as I was out there. This resort simply DID NOT care. We will NEVER stay here again. EVER. They should treat their guests better than this."

"Great hotel and great view. It was an amazing stay with quality services. I Defently recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking to stay closer to the beach. Is like in between everything so is a good thing. The only bad thing about it is the parking lot which is too small when you going into the higher levels. You can barely fit your car and if two cars find each other on the curve its impossible for both to make it in, one must back up to give some space to be able to move. But other than that it was pretty good place. One thing is that they need to put more games on the arcade place. But the casino game was awesome eventhough it took all our money it was really fun."

"I booked an Oceanfront with two queens. The room we were in was an Oceanfront with two full size beds, actually looked more like super singles! I called down to the desk, when I was informed they don't have queen beds in the entire hotel? I wasn't going to argue the point!! Really?? Also the TV did not work! We had to unplug the plug and insert the plug again into the wall before the TV would come on!! So with that being said, I am not too sure I would stay here again! The room was not what we paid for!"

"The oceanview room was great. We were impressed with the water park, great for young kids, although the water was very cold, the outdoor pools are not heated. The indoor pool area was dirty and the men's shower was filthy, gave my husband athlete's foot. Overall good for the money, but a few issues."

"Sand Dunes was more than what i expected. From the guy who picked up our luggage to the staff at the desk. The room was breath taking and so quiet but yet with an atmosphere of where things had a night life. This is a place i would come back to stay at.....hands down. Thanks for a great stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Our total experience here was wonderful from start to finish. Our room had a beautiful ocean front view and the beach was only a couple steps away, Very clean, friendly and extremely helpful staff. The Mango Restaurant is extemely underated and is by far one of the greatest in the area - not just your typical hotel eatery.

Can't wait to go back. "
