"The hotel location was excellent. The view was incredible!!! Very close to shopping and restaurants. My only complaint is that all of the rooms, the outside light in the hallway shines through to the bedrooms at nights and the room is not very dark. They need to install a secondary drape that will block out the light. Beds were ok, not the best and certainly not the worst. The suite room was very clean, spacious and included a full kitchen with all of the needed supplies. One more thing, since they are privately owned, the ocean-front suites do not include complimentary coffee, so bring some if you want that early morning or late night cup of java. Other than that I would fully recommed the hotel and will stay here again in the future!!!"

"My family definitely enjoyed our stay at the Paradise Resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. We booked the 2 bedroom and it was perfect for 5 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of space and the fold out couch worked out perfect since we brought an extra person in my family at the last minute (by the way the hotel staff had no problem with the extra person). I think we would all agree to return to the Paradise Resort. We have stayed at other hotels in Myrtle Beach and this was the best out of all of them. The parking garage was nice especially when it was raining. I really have no complaints. Easy and fast check in and out. Thank goodness for the washer and dryer in the room.With kids sometimes you need it! We came away with so many great memories and overall had a wonderful time."

"Although we have been to Myrtle Beach many times, this was our first time at Paradise Resort. We stayed on the 20th floor and had a very nice view of the ocean. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. The desk staff was very friendly. The pools were clean. The lazy river was much smaller than at other resorts we have stayed at in the past, but was okay. On Sat. morning we woke up to a parade on South Ocean Blvd. We had a difficult time getting out of the resort. It would have been helpful had we been informed of this parade ahead of time, so we could have made our plans accordingly. On Sat. night the parking garage was full and we had to park across the street, but this was not a problem since we were not here during peak season. Traffic on South Ocean Blvd. was fine, but I would NEVER consider staying here or anywhere else on South Ocean Blvd. during peak season. There was only one family bathroom at the pools--really? Twenty floors of rooms and only one bathroom? It was always in use and we had to wait. Someone told us to go into the Sandals Cafe and use their bathroom, but it was locked. I hope the other guests weren't peeing in the pool. People were allowed to smoke at the pools--this should NOT be happening! The complimentary breakfast was a nightmare. There was not adequate seating and we could not just pick up food and leave--like we did at Country Inn & Suites in Orlando. We HAD to sit there!!! Well, when we had10 people ahead of us waiting to be seated, did we REALLY want to waste our vacation waiting to get a table? It's not like we were at five star restaurant where we could make reservations. So, two days of our stay, we did not bother with the breakfast. They need a MUCH bigger space if they MAKE the people eat in the dining area. Why not let them take the food elsewhere (like the pool?) since they cannot provide adequate space. The morning we left we were planning to eat breakfast, but wanted to hit the road sooner--rather than later--and there were just too many people. Only 2 people in our party were allowed the free breakfast and there were 3 of us. Why not give us all the breakfast tickets and let 3 of us eat and when the tickets are gone, that's it. The breakfast tickets are dated. This should be changed. If 3 people are in the party and are staying 4 days, that would be 8 tickets--since only 2 eat free. Don't date them. Just hand the people the 8 tickets and let them use them how they wish. If there are 4 people in a party, they would each get to eat 2 meals or however they decide. Since there is not adequate space anyway and you have to wait for a table, it doesn't really matter?? Maybe take reservations??? We would come back again--but never in peak season."

"Me & wife had great time at paradise.Being it was are first time in myrtle beach we did not know what to expect.We were very happy with are suite.The view was unbelievable & all the comforts the suite had to offer were a bonus.The staff was awesome at paradise, people smiled & ask how you were doing.The security personnel were good thing too. We used the pool & lazy river but the beach & ocean was much better.Just have couple knocks against my stay.#1-was the smoking, it appeared that alot of people still smoke but do they need to smoke at the pool & on the beach? The worst was the guest smoking on the balconies.I was not looking foward to asthma attacks on my trip & losing time on the balcony at night because they need to feed they're addiction. That might be deal breaker next timen#2-is my fault, when i book i was to get 'free breakfast'. where or how was i supposed to get the free breakfast.That was never explained any where .nDid they use a voucher or wrist band? i guess i got have asked if we really really need breakfast , a couple of coffee would have be fine for me.nAlso what was the deal with the 'tiki bar' does also close at what seemed 4pm?nNever got to try it because it was also closed at early evening. nSo all & all myrtle beach was blast.Did not like the how boardwalk scene so glad to be away from it.nStarting to looking into are next visit!! nThanks again see ye soon!"

"Last year I stayed at Paradise Resort. That visit was great. Room was fantastic. This time my deal via provided with a sub-par room. My room was on the noisy first floor. My view was of the tops of palm trees and the pool more so than the beautiful ocean. I could hear everything that was said at the pool and for safety my balcony rails were almost 5' tall making it feel like I was in jail. When asked to be moved I was told that my booking prevented me from being moved to a better room. So much for my quiet adult weekend without kids."

Our grandchildren really had a great time espcecially with Compass Cove being a sister resort and having water slides available for them, and only 3 hotels down the beach. We really enjoy the rates after Labor Day, dropped drastically, but th grands have to go to school so we sucked it up and paid the prime rate (less what bookit saved us). Things I didn't like: if your room doesn't include breakfast, you can't just buy a bagel, you have to purchase the entire buffet for $9 per person, or a coffee for $3 - I found this expensive. Our room had a beautifiul view, however, we were facing a hotel that played loud music and karoake all early to late afternoon... so no peace and quiet during the day."

"We enjoyed the stay very much. Hotel was clean and staff very polite and helpfull. Really had lots of staff always keeping an eye on things and cleaning all around. Only complaint we had was all the noise from the sun deck and activities as we were on the first floor even though I had requested as high as possible on the floor. Radio came on at 7am and could hear guests out until 2 am. Not quite the relaxing, sit and listen to the ocean that I had envisioned. But the room was nice."

However, the rate I paid was lower than the Resort rate and I filled out the claim form twice and never heard from them. I also told the guy at the lobby and he said it takes a while. Their guantee lowest rate stated they would match the lower rate and take off an additional ten percent."

"We had a great week in Myrtle Beach and the resort was great. We had a 1 bedroom deluxe oceanview. The pools were just the right temps and the hot tub great. Loved the view of the ocean from our balcony. This resort is not in the 'heart' of the activity which was a plus for us. Only problem was that the ENTRANCE sign was hard to find. Once in the garage, easy to find parking. The elevators were quick too. The kitchen options were great tho we didi not use them too much but on a longer stay definitely would be a plus. We will consider returning to this resort in the future."

"The name says it all! Trying to arrange a beach trip for the whole family was a nearly impossible task it seemed. The selection of hotels for a large group was slim. We chose a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo at this Resort.... what a great choice. The staff at the front desk were very helpful, the accomodations were very spacious. The view was spectacular, the pools were the right temperture. Our family loved it and will be booking more time there in the future, Some reviews talked about teh parking and almost scared us away. The parking was plenty. There was a 4 deck garage and overflow directly across the street. nothing that anyone should complain about given what you the resort really offers."

"My family and I had a great time at Myrtle Beach we stayed at paradise resort, the hotel was very clean and the condominium suite was excellent it had everything we could possibly need including a full kitchen, washer and dryer big living area and an awesome ocean front balcony. I would recommend anybody to stay even those with children the hotel is excellent I will go back next year and stay in the same hotel .."

"The room was really nice, clean, and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and accomodating to all of our needs. Awesome variety of pools! Great location to the beach! Will definitely stay again."
