From the time we got there to the time we left we had nothing but good things to say about Marina Inn. We had 16-Golfers and everyone was happy with the service both in our room and outside room. Great pool area great breakfast service and our rooms were always made up and clean. Would not hesitate to go back to the Marina Inn. Thank you for a great stay.

The hotel, golf course and staff were perfect in every way. The hotel restaurants and lounge were excellent. The room had a great view of the marina and golf course. The pool is beautiful and had a great view of the marina. Best resort! We will be back!

We've enjoyed our 3 nights stay here. We have received nothing but the best service. From free valet service, to hassle-free checking in, free shuttle to the beach, their waterscape restaurant, their beautiful pool, their big rooms with big bathrooms with rain shower, everything turned out the way we wanted it. We've been going back in myrtle beach for years and years already and we've been in so many hotels and I can objectively rate this hotel as 5 stars. The only thing is, this hotel is not... Read more

This hotel was great! I will start by saying why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. The cleaning people were absolutely awful. We had 5 people staying in a 4-5 person room and every day they would leave 4 of everything. We even left notes saying to leave 5 and that didn't work. Had a roll away bed in the room and she never made it. She actually took the time to un make the bed that I had made and folded everything to put at the bed front. Other than that, everyone was super nice. There is a free vale... Read more

Chose this hotel because we did not want to stay in Myrtle Beach proper. Absolutely loved this place. Close enough, but far enough away from the crowd. They provide shuttle service to their own private section of beach. Plus, Ruth Chris restaurant on site, if you feel like staying in for dinner. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Myrtle Beach.

If you're looking for a place in Myrtle that doesn't seem like Myrtle, this is your place! It's calm, beautifully decorated, comfortable and tasteful. The food was great, the service was great and the facility is beautiful. You aren't on the beach but instead overlooking the marina with beach access via the shuttle service. The pool was relaxing with a tiki bar and Ruth's Chris is right nextdoor. The room was well-designed and the bed was comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Awesome rooms, very spacious. Full kitchen to cook meals. The atmosphere and hospitality is amazing. the quality of the food is great. You don't even have to leave the property to have a good time. I adore this place!

After several nights at an oceanfront resort, we decided to try to escape the crush of people in that locale and stay at the Marina Inn, which held the promise of a golf resort and waterfront activities. While the exterior and grounds of this property are attractive, our $240/night hotel room was merely average. Carpet also needs to be replaced throughout the resort. Don't even think of checking-in early; after finishing a round of golf that afternoon, we were unable to access our room until we... Read more

It doesn't matter that it's not on the ocean front. Five minute shuttle form the hotel and you're on the beach with plenty available chairs and umbrellas. Do eat at the bar/restaurant out on the marina. Good food and drinks at reasonable prices. We stayed in a regular room with two queen sized beds our first night. HUGE bathroom. We switched into our 2BR suite the following day. IMPRESSED!!! The pool is not crowded. Plenty of room for anyone.

My wife and I just spent five days at the Marina Inn. It is a beautiful hotel located right on the inland waterway in Myrtle Beach. We spent some time watching the large boats come into the harbor. The outdoor pool is located right on the waterway. They have a private beach which they take you to with their own shuttle. The hotel restaurant was outstanding. We usually stay more toward the downtown area but this was a pleasure to be away from the crowds. Many restaurants in the area and all of th... Read more

Just returned from a seven night stay and we loved the place. The only problem we had was at check-In. We arrived at 5pm (check in starts at 4pm) and had to wait approximately 20 minutes for housekeeping to release the room for check in. We are a family of 4 and stayed in the two bedroom king and 2 queens on the first level. We chose a pool and Marina view. We originally did not like the view from the first level because there are hedges that obstruct the view. We asked for a room on a hig... Read more

While we always prefer beachfront accommodations, we stayed here as part of a group and werent disappointed. While the entrance to our room looked like a motel entrance, the suite itself was very nice, new looking and importantly, very clean. We enjoyed the view of the waterway and golf course complete with beautiful sunsets. The shuttle to the beach and the amenities included there were great, as were the pool, bar and restaurant. I stayed here for work and brought my family along. This place is awesome along with its employees. Very clean, accommodating and has a private beach. Amenities were great as well and very kid friendly. With this not being located on the beach the hotel was not filled with sand and there was a shuttle to the private beach.

This hotel is a refreshing change from the loud and crowded beach front hotels in Myrtle Beach. The view of the Intercoastal is beautiful. Amazing pool and shuttle service to the beach cannot be better. Convenient location to major entertainment attractions. Our go to place each spring!

Very comfortable and pleasant hotel in beautifully landscaped surroundings. There are plenty of taxis in the local area so it's easy to go out for dinner if you fancy. We'd recommend the Sea Captain's House and Mr. Fish.

I was at the Marina Inn for a conference. This time of year it is so hot that the nice cool conference and sleeping rooms work out great. I had to wait quite a while for my room to be ready. I checked in on a Sunday. They did offer me a coupon for a drink and for breakfast. My room was clean and overlooked the pool. It also had easy access to the lobby, conference center and the workout room. The workout room is small and NOT clean. But it is open 24 hours which is awesome. I would suggest th... Read more

This place is good but I wouldn't call it great. The pool is somewhat small and I thought it wouldn't be an issue not having the beach within walking distance - but it was a problem for me. The room was huge - 2 bedroom suite and was very nice. The staff was very nice as well. If you are a beach lover like me, you will be dissatisfied.

Nice place to stay in the Myrtle Beach area. Very attentive staff. Definitively will recommend it. Not being a beach front property did not diminish the great experience. Great rooms, very spacious and clean. Kids had a blast with the adjacent water sports service/complex.

Our time at the Marina Inn was awesome! We had a beautiful suite which faced the marina and the the golf course. Every evening we went to bed to a beautiful view and every morning we woke up to another beauty. The convenience of the full kitchen was great. Lowe's supermarket was right across the street and that was convenient for getting breakfast items and little munchies to eat at the beach. Waterscapes has delicious food and we ate there for dinner and ordered room service. Yumminess! Having ... Read more

We have stayed here three times and enjoy it each time we stay. Staff is great.. Rooms are clean but need a few minor repairs in some of the rooms we have stayed in. Lovely view from the back of inn. We enjoy watching the boats go by while sitting on the balcony. They also have an indoor bar. Just double check your receipt before you pay because twice we had the wrong receipt. Overall, we love going to this place and plan to visit back soon.

My family and loved staying at this property. The location was great and the view from our balcony was outstanding! They have a fantastic service which takes you to and from their private beach. The towels, chairs and umbrella are set up when you arrive. I love that! The staff is very friendly and always eager to help. Nice quiet resort overall. Free parking. Resort fee included in price. Clean room and pool. Friendly staff. Private beach with shuttle. Beach was calm and clean with umbrellas and chairs. Restaurant was decent (only ate breakfast). Business area was easily accessible. Only con: usually, our room wasn't cleaned till 4:00pm, kept running into housekeeping as preparing for evening excursions so just requested clean towels and garbage emptied. Will stay again.

We went to the Marina Inn at the Grand Dunes for the second year in a row, first for our honeymoon and again for the 1 year anniversary and we absolutely love it there. The views of the intracoastal waterway are incredible, the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The pool is awesome and we had a great time having drinks and relaxing by the pool. The short drive to myrtle beach was perfect - far enough away for relaxing after a busy day of entertainment! The best bits were the view across the river from the large room and balcony and the excellent service and food in Waterscapes restaurant. Area for improvement would be upgrading some of the public areas, for example the corridors to the rooms which felt like a parking lot! However, this was very good value for money overall.

The location of the hotel was right at the Marina so one could see people jet skiing and riding boats. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel room was nice and included a small fridge. Wine glasses were also in the room.....I've never seen that before! The hotel has a nice private beach for its guests to enjoy; hotel transportation is provided to the beach. Other than the hotel's small pool, all else was great. I plan to return next summer!

I have stayed at several different properties in Myrtle Beach and Marina Inn by far ranks in the top three. My mother and I stayed at Marina Inn for a quick birthday getaway. When we first arrived I needed to change my room type to better accommodate my mother and I. Andrew went out of his way to help us out with this. We just spent a week in this hotel. Had a great time. The pool was open 24 hours but there was not much noise once the sun went down. We had a room over looking the pool and water way.
