"The place was roomy enough for our family, but we were expecitng and had asked for double beds in the other rooms. The carpets were in bad need of a deep cleaning and spider webs were in every light fixture. Staff does not answer the telephone for customers, we had a slight problem with the washer and the staff was not very responsive to our request For the money the place was convenient to the beach and activities around town which made up for some of the other short comings of the condo."

"Not like anything i expected! the service was poor and the staff were not professional. the television does not have a remote, no iron nor ironing board, when i called they did not picked up and no one return the calls. when i go to their office, they told me to contact our travel agency-yeah! to bring me remote?
this booking supposed to come with two tickets to the water park, they want me to call the agency.
overall, it was not a pleasant place to go if you want to enjoy your vacation."

"Overall experience will probably be a 3. I was expecting at least 2 double beds but we had 4 twin beds with only 3 made up. The carpet had stains in it and the walls really needed painting. I tried to wash the most important area which was the kitchen, Food was splatter against the wall and there was an envelope that stated tip for the cleaning staff.(ha) We left the condo more cleaner than when we came. I tried to clean the spots off the floor myself. only 2 drawers in refrigerater, on e whole shelf was missing and part of the frame was in the refrigerator and one part was in a drawer. The towels was very dingy so we got bleach and wash them even though that did not help they stayed dingy. We did not have enough sitting space in the main area for everyone .Seems as though some furniture was missing. We had a sofa and 2 chairs with ottoman. Spiderwebs everywhere.Doors to the tub and the washer/dryer area kept coming off track. I would not recommend anyone, but I will try to book again but if in the same condition will ask for a refund. Did not see any staff other than when checked in and she was not any help just said follow direction on envelope never looked directly at me. It appears as thoughh she was busy doing whatever and just find envelope with my name and said follow thie direction on envelope and to make sure return pool keys because they cost $15.."

"Place was OK for the price but could've been better. Appartment was clean but old, kitchen is old, pealing off. We lived on third floor, no elevator, not easy way to bring all the laguage in or out. Pool is small and shallow, good for kids to play but not for swimming. They have gym and pool with 'lazy river' on the property but we could not get there with our booking.
Overall you can check around the web for better place for a little more money."

"Loved this place! We spent most of our time out visiting family but when we did return to the room it was very comfortable and relaxing. The spacious two bed, two bath condo felt like a home away from home.

"I have booked it for my in-laws and they had to go throught the ordeal: the room key didn't work so they had to go back and forth three time to the office to get a new key and had to deal with very unfriendly staff. Finally, my in-laws were able to get into the room after the staff had called a locksmith (unbelievable!). The room wasn't ready: the closets were full of trash, the beds weren't made, and the dishes were dirty! When my in-laws went back to the office to report that the office was closed and no staff was on duty (later, we found all the staff members were gone for the holiday) I have left the message on housekeeping, maintenance, and super, but didn't hear from anyone. I ended up calling the booking agency (more than 30 min waiting of course) and then was able to hear from the staff.
The next day, I got a call from one of the staff members and he made me angrier. This is what he said, 'so, all the problems were taken care of, we are fine now, aren't we?'
He also said he would ask a supervisor to call me the next day, but I haven't heard from her yet (it has been four days since he called).

"We found Magnolia Pointe via Mia at Bookit.com. She was very helpful and made my reservation within minutes. We really enjoyed our villa. The only complaints that we have is that the bed is very hard and I had to re-clean the commodes. Even though the commodes had the sanitized paper on them, they were not cleaned to my satisfaction. Other than that, the villa was perfect. We were not far from the beach, we had a washer and dryer, we had a pool just steps away, and enjoyed the quiet time. You were in a gated community and there were trails, tennis courts and everyone was so helpful. I would definately stay again and plan to return in September. We would definately recommend to our friends and family!!"

"Let me preface my comments by saying we did not report any of our issues with the hotel staff because we were only in our condo to sleep and bathe. Now on to my review: the toilet in the master bedroom did not work; it was stopped up and did not flush. The water went out of the sink and tub very slow. The bed in the master bedroom was HORRID.... My husband and my back hurt like we had slept on rocks each morning. We received a 3 bedroom when we paid for a 2 bedroom. The carpet was dirty in the breakfast area. This was in unit 201. There was no wi-fi but there was internet access via broadband. The dryer did not work. We actually think this was intentional because the start knob was removed and placed on top of the shelf. We made lemonade with lemons we had :-) We Thoroughly ENJOYED the beach and Myrtle Beach as a whole during our stay!!"

"The condo was clean and neat, surprisingly roomy. The screened in porch was nice in the morning for drinking coffee and watching golfers. The location was good. The only complaint is with the cancellation policy. "This condo was very comfortable and clean. It provided what we needed as far as the facilitiy.
However, there was no hair dryer, only one shampoo for four people (we only had 3 people and that was still not enough). We are accustomed to having these amenities at first before there is time to go shopping. The coffee was only one small package, enough for only 2 people, one creamer, and two little sugar packets.
If a condo is equipped for four, the amenities should accommodate four.

"Magnolia Pointe was a great deal that was nearest to the beach. Once we found the check-in office and got our room key we traveled over to the condo and was pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to see that the room looked like something out of the late 80's early 90's.
The decor was very dated. Once we moved all of our stuff into our respectable rooms, we started to look around the suite. We found what looked like women's hair in the showers, tubs, and on the floors of the bathrooms. We found stained carpet in the master bedroom and living room area, the dishes had orange flaky spots on them, the utility closet door was broken, there was no broom, the beds were VERY weak rocky and squeaky. There was no fan in the first bedroom nearest the front door, No trash bags to go inside of the trash cans (you have to go and buy those) OH! and there was no working telephone. Turns out the contractor or somebody decided that there would be no working phones in the rooms, instead they would use the phones as decoration to pretend and look like they may work, luckily we all had cell phones.
After trying to get the 'Free WiFi' to work we tried calling the front desk, unfortunately we were not able to talk to anyone since they all went home at 4pm. So we tried calling them in the morning at 8:30 still no answer on any of the extensions. Before we went to the beach we stopped by the front office and was informed that the telephones were not working and she gave us the code to the WiFi. After getting back to the suite. I decided to try the code to the WiFi but it still didn't work. Therefore I tried calling the front office again and still no answer. So we drove back up to the office (which isn't on the property, more like three city blocks away) and told them the issue. They took my name and number and said someone would be by to check on it. No one NEVER CAME! No one NEVER CALLED! So I had to unplug and plug in all the routers, hit reset like 10 times, wait for it to finish doing its blinking thing and then it finally worked. In all it took over 30 mins to get it to work.
Over all I was pleased with the place. It had it's ups and downs. I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend, maybe a foe but not a friend. I think paying a little bit more to stay on the strip would have been better all around."

"When we got there the office was closed. It took hours for someone to call back to let us know how to check in. When she called back she was rude.day 2 the air went out. I call before dark and no one came till 12:15am that night. Then he just came in without knocking. We were in the bed. Needless to say the air went out again the next day. When we checked out the lady was unfriendly and is not a people person. They made us feel like we were a bother. If you want to stay some where where the employers are rude and unfriendly then this is the place to stay. It made me regret going to myrtle beach for our family vacation."

"We had a super time. Check in was lengthy. Long line and only one worker doing any thing. Room was beautiful. Lights in master bedroom didn't work until we figured out that circuit breaker had been tripped. Master bedroom TV had something wrong with it so if we tried to turn it on it would trip the breaker again. Not an issue for us. We spent most time on beaches and shopping. Perfect location. "When my family and I got to the condo we noticed the blinds in the kids bedroom were literally hanging by a thread! I called main office and was told that they would be there on Saturday to fix....No one ever showed. My children slept on a pull out sleeper (10 and 14 boy and girl) due to the light from outside shone through window and I felt it was unsafe, since you could walk by and look right in. The sink in the second bathroom needed a spoon to keep the drain up since it was never attached to plumbing,the master bed bath toilet was stopped up and when called to get help was told that was not an emergency, there was mold on the shower curtain, a bowl was used by former tenant as an ashtray and left on patio table,screen door to patio was pitched up against wall and had huge rips in it. Sure for 69.00 a night it sounded to good to be true and guess what?.....IT WAS!"

"The condo we rented for a week had three bedrooms. When we entered the condo it smelled like wet dog and later on we found out it came from the vacuum cleaner. In all the bedrooms the headboard of each bed was detached from the frame and was just sitting there against the bed or the wall. There were not enough towels to accomodate 7 people and not enough pillow covers. If you want to stay for a while buy more toilet paper. The carpet had a lot of stains on it and there were stains on the walls and ceilings, I think this condo has seen a lot of parties.
The curtains in the master bedroom only covered half the window and although there were blinds behind it, it didn't block the sunlight on that side every morning.
Only two of the four tv remotes worked.
Apparently you need bracelets for the swimming pool, nobody told us when we checked in and we found out when we were approached by a security person. The pool is not that big, my kids were bored after 20 minutes, luckily the beach is not that far, about 1 mile. The indoor pool is not accessible for renters.
We asked the rental agency to repair the beds and more towels, it took two attemps to get more towels and the maintenance guy never showed up.
In the kitchen a sign says:'Welcome to Grandmom's second house'. Even Grandma doesn't want to live here, she moved to another house.
The people who rented it the first few years had a great deal but it is slowly falling apart. For the money it was not a bad deal but for a few dollars more I am sure you could get a better place."

"My family and I were here for the Easter Weekend, We had a great time, this is the first time we saw photos of a place and it was actually much nicer than the photos and the photos look great. The rooms were clean and the bedrooms had their own full baths. My wife and I had some privacy because the rooms were at the opposite side of the Condo, and plenty of space it also had a pull out couch. I have a large family so we will definately be back"
