Clean Resort, great place for couples and families. Every Amenities available. A little pricey, but overall we really enjoyed our stay. Our only two complaints is breakfast was not included and there were a few places in the room on the walls were bugs were squashed and killed on the walls and they were not cleaned up afterwards

We reserved a spacious room with efficiency provisions and an ocean view. Because of a distasteful and peculiar odor in the bed's mattress, we requested a new room and were moved to a room with NO amenities, no space, no chairs, spotted walls, curtains that did not fit the window or block blinding sunlight, chipped and cracked tile in the shower bed, and a closet filled with ugly wiring and a mop. This was the worst experience EVER in our travels. We cannot believe this was a Kingston Plantatio... Read more

Really enjoyed our stay at Brighton, great price and wonderful condo . Really enjoyed it! Be prepared when you fly in to airport you will need to get a taxi to resort. Also note that when you go to the beach you can either bring your own stuff or bite the bullet and rent from lifeguards - not so bad because it eliminates having to haul your stuff to and from the beach . This was a conference but brought the family- a little business but a lot of pleasure!

My wife and I stayed here for four night in a one bedroom condo with our daughter. We are loyal to the Hilton brand and only stay at there property's unfortunately this is one of the worse property run by Hilton that we have stayed at! The room was very out dated and also need some get real maintenance ! The stove and microwave where for like 1980 and the bathroom was the size of a small walk in closet! The room was clean and we had no issues other then we were woke up on our last day by the gro... Read more

Blood stained towels, one wash cloth, had to use beach towels due to lack of cleanliness, broken door, stained carpet, spider webs, missing blinds. A true embarrassment for the Hilton. As a Diamond member I expect so much more and one night is too many at this nasty place. It's the first time I've ever complained about a Hilton property.

We were here for a conference June 23-26, 2016. We made a reservation for a "condo" with an oceanview room in Brighton Tower. Let me start by saying that I dislike Myrtle Beach. The quality for the price, just in general, is awful. I prefer a bit more luxury for my money. We arrived very early and couldn't get into our room right away, understandable. I gave the desk my phone number for them to call when the room was ready. They didn't advise me of the amenities of the hotel to keep me entert... Read more

Stayed at the Brighton Tower and had a beautiful oceanfront view. Stayed in an updated 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. Enjoyed everything about the property including the variety of pools, activity for children, etc. Customer service was excellent among all staff that we encountered. The only drawbacks...1) resort property especially closer to the beach had litter. It could have been better attended to. This is within the resorts control. 2) the beach is no friendly if you bring your own umbrell... Read more

We stayed in the Richmond Park section of the villas in a 2 bedroom condo and it was perfect. Unit was spotless, decorated beautifully and completely updated. Lake view from our bedroom and a little secluded from the crowds of the high rise hotels but only a 5 minute walk to beach and pool through the park like setting of the resort. A nice mixed use resort area with excellent location near Restaurant Row, Tanger Outlets, Colonial Mall and Cinema and Apache Pier. Some condos are owned others are rented. The mix creates a well- maintained atmosphere with lots of amenities such as the sports club and courts and Splash park. With bars and restaurants in walking distance and the kitchens in most units, you really need never leave a 5 mile radius to this resort.

We arrived on Friday evening July 8. We were staying in a 2 bedroom condo in the West Hyde Park section that would have slept 7 (using couch in living room that pulled out to a double bed). One bedroom had a king bed and one bedroom had two twin beds. There was also a bed in the large window in the room with 2 twin beds. There were 5 of us so we had plenty of room. Kingston Plantation is the best family-oriented hotel and beach in Myrtle Beach. It has all the facilities and amenities that families need and could want. Ideally situated in North Myrtle, the Plantation complex is easily accessible to the airport and all major arteries. The beach services are not operated by the hotel (can't charge umbrellas and chairs to your room-bummer), but the service that did provide these amenities did an excellent job, and were very efficient.

be careful that you don't get moved to the "condos". They are dated. you will not get breakfast if you are moved to the condos and it is very difficult to get a beach chair. The hotel itself looks nice. The pools where very crowded. Almost to the point you could not move in the pool if you went there.

The trip to myrtle beach was for my son's baseball teams tournament. While the hotel staff was helpful and accommodating, and the grounds were well kept, the villa in which we stayed was very basic. It was clean, but old and unimpressive. Decor was very dated and the furniture was obviously old and overused. The villa seemed to be decorated to the bare minimum. Saw a few cockroaches. My family and I are currently on property and checked in Saturday. The condo is nice and the property very nice and maintained. Our issue is the housekeeping. We are staying in the South Hampton tower. We have light housekeeping but found that they are extremely lax in responding to our requests. Yesterday it took 2 hours to get washcloths. Today we called at 3:30 and as of 7:30 still no one showed up to honor our latest request.

We have stayed for 4 days. A beautiful location, however once we arrived we realized the toilet wasn't working properly. It took them 5 tries to finally fix the chain. By the second day I asked the lifeguard to back off my 14 year old. On day 4 I told management that his lifeguard continues to ask for my daughters phone number and refers to her as "sexy mama" As long as your good with disrespect from the staff this is the place for you.

This location is not on the beach. Although there are shuttles that will take you to the beach; we decided to drive. The accomodations were fair for what we had to pay. I was promised an oceanview condo, and was given a villa with no oceanfront view. What I was promised by the sales associate was not what I got when I checked in. If you don't care about the view, then I would consider going for the 2 hour sales pitch that will get you the 3 night/4 day stay relatively inexpensively.

When you search the Kingston Plantation online some may get confused about the different "brands" associated with the resort (Royal Palms, Hilton, Embassy Suites, Condo's /Villas). The Villa 23-I the room and furnishings were antiquated. The price paid compared to were other family member were located and stayed pales into insignificance. Our family were extremely disappointed, and there was not enough spaces to accommodate parking. To make matters worst, our Villas were not adjacent to each other as was selected and told we would be. The number of family was an upward of at least 50-65 members totaling about 15-20 rooms. Very disappointed!! JMS

The put us in a villa and the carpet was dirty and everything outdated. I complained and they put us in the condo but the carpet was filthy and needed a coat of paint and it had seen better days. Towels were thin and crappy. Very disappointed with Hilton on this location. Positives nice people and great location.

This resort was the Greatest!! The staff was wonderful to us and very helpful. The rooms were clean, neat and comfortable. We enjoyed the pools, and the kids had a blast at the splash waterparks. I met lots of friendly people at the resort who were vacationing too. I would definitely reccommend this place to others. I will be going back there hopefully next September.

Feels like your visiting the island's! Music is great by pool, but you can also escape from the crowd to private swimming areas. Looking forward to updated gym equipment with more variety. Grounds and rooms were clean. Staff are very helpful. Lots of places to eat outside but locate. Golf is great

My family stays here every year. Have stayed in the condos, the Hilton, and Embassy Suites. Best place to stay in the greater Myrtle Beach area. The Splash Park is a great place for kids. The Margate condo is exceptional and our favorite of all the places to stay.

I was very disappointed with my accommodations at the Brighten Towers. It was very outdated and unclean. I've stayed at the Kingston Plantation before and was very impressed with the Margate Towers, it will be the only tower we will stay in if we return.

My son visited us from NY and decided on a mini vacation and booked a 2 BR 2 Bth condo at Brighton Towers. I have stayed here many times before. This is a nice location with easy access to dining, shows, pools and the ocean. All of these condo's are privately owned so you may get one that has not been updated or amenities may not be up to par. Some are very sparse and some are well stocked for complete living. The kitchen was very basic. If I was staying a long time I probably would have request... Read more

We come to Kingston Plantation every year in September with our kids. We love it. We stay at the villas on the property and not the hotels or condos that are ocean front because we love the convenience of parking in front of your unit. The rooms are always impeccably clean and well kept. The amenities are awesome! I'm a runner and ran the property early in the morning when it was dark. I often passed security guards with flashlights, which made me feel genuinely more safe and secure and comforta... Read more

I must say the staff was great. They were friendly. The breakfast was unreal large amount of food choices and ordered omlets for cooked to order breakfast. Happy hour was a big plus. Having a free drink and appitizer before heading out to dinner was a big savings. My only complaint was the carpet in room was old, worn and stained and needs to be replaced. The bed was comfortabke and it was nice to have patio to sit on to see the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Kingston Plantation Resort - 8500 Margate, Suite 2304. This is such a beautiful condo building and the perfect location right on the ocean. This condo has everything you could want, its beautifully decorated, has a well appointed kitchen, very clean, lots of space, a beautiful balcony and all the beach toys you could ask for. We had a wonderful time. Will definitely go back.

This condo was a great place to stay. Downsides were pillows and towels. Everything else was wonderful. I would surely stay here again. Close enough to everything and a nice resort experience. Good coffee was only a short walk away. Plenty of pools and as much beach as you could ask for.

The properties are not beach front, only the embassy suites rooms are. Do not be deceived! The condos are outdated and require renovation. The property is confusing and somewhat unnavigable due to poor lighting along the streets. Contacting the front desk is practically impossible. Staff is very kind and pleasant to speak with once they are reached. I would not recommend the condos to anyone!

Normally we stay at Oceans 22 by Hilton Grand Vacations. We were interested in adding another night before our stay this weekend (Octoeber 22nd- October 25th). I found this resort because I am a Hilton Honors Member and thought it would be nice to try and stay elsewhere based on the reviews. However, when I called this location I was not greeted warmly, cut off mid sentence, and abruptly transferred to reservations. I even attempted to call back several times and was immediately sent to reservat... Read more

My condo was older and I noticed some dirty spots. Also, the light in the table area was dim. There was no overhead light in the living room, just lamps. It did have a full kitchen. Also, it was tile floors. I am pretty sure there were better condos, so you may get a better one.

This hotel/condo was more than we could have imagined. Rather than the traditional open room with a bath we walked into the most beautiful condo accommodations. A two bedroom condo was not expected but oh so welcomed. We could see the sunrise from our condo and the beach just below our 21st floor. A few glitches with the elevators and minor service issues but overall it was so memorable that we felt like platinum guests. In fact we thought they made a mistake. Disappointed is putting it mildly. The unit we stayed in for the weekend was disgusting. Everything was old and needed to be replaced. It looked like the decor hadn't been changed in about 20 years. Management, in the month of November, continually said nothing else was available. I would never stay here again. If you book a room here , you might want to do it through the owner so that you can see pictures of the unit. Otherwise, they mastic you with anything.

Visited here for a business meeting. The off season rates were terrific and included a really extensive breakfast buffet and a two hour happy hour each night with FREE drinks, wine, or beer. We had a two bedroom, two bath, fully equipped condo with an ocean view that was beautifully decorated, quiet and comfortable for a really low price.

Stayed for 2 nights in November. Pretty good deal for the price except they charge a resort fee of $18/day but some of the facilities are not available in the winter. It is a bit removed from the airport, they don't have an airport shuttle and a taxi one way is about $50.

The lock to the condo did not work and we had to call maintenance and wait 15 minutes for them to come replace the battery on the electronic lock. The maintenance worker was very nice, but this wasn't a good start. The condos are individually owned, and I cannot speak for all of them, but the one that we stayed in was very dated. I very often choose a Hilton property but I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. It had a good bit of wear outside the rooms and inside. We actually ran out of toilet paper as the room attendant did not refill this when she cleaned the room. We were also not given enough towels, having registered 4 people we only got 3 towels each day. Service was not done on the room until almost 5 pm. Not at all what I have come to expect from Hilton.

I stayed at the Embassy Kingston Plantation, at the South location, and it's not the same as the check in. The room shower head had a leak with mildew looks like. While I was there they just made my bed without putting new or fresh linens on the bed. The same burn whole was there the next day as well. The internet services was poor.
