First of all; this hotel has a fabulous location at the beach, and has a great potential for having the best spot in all of North Myrtle Beach. BUT, the fact is that this hotel is old and dirty and have rude and grumpy people working there (with a few exceptions). The exterior looks like a five star hotel, both in the front and seen from the beach. But, when one get inside, it all falls down... The lobby is beautiful, but that's all. The elevators are old and squeeky, and the rooms have the ... Read more

Wonderful locations for our conference. The hotel is right on the beach and the view was gorgeous from our room. Very comfortable and clean, we received wonderful service from everyone who we came in contact with. The food was good and had a good variety. The weather wasn't as good as i hoped while we were there, but can't help that. Wish had more time to see the area, but business is business. overall good place to come back to.

Beautiful views right from your balcony of the ocean. The pools were great and although only 1 of the 2 hot tubs were working, that was nice too. The employees of the restaurants, bar, pool area, valet, front desk are all extremely friendly and professional. My only but the biggest downfall was numerous housekeeping issues - ran out of toilet paper 2 times (no spare left in room), no shower curtain liner (so water went all over), no bath mat, sheets changed ONE time in 8 days, etc., etc. , etc... It was a great few days at the hotel. We still had a great view of the ocean from our room. The only complaint I have is the pool deck, it needs to be treated or something I got a few splinters in my foot from it. Staff was extremely nice, the servers at the pool was very attentive.

We were at the Beach Club Resort for a look at the time-share plan offered. My husband had bought into it a year ago when recovering from surgery. The hotel was very impressive and our room on the eleventh floor offered me a place to sit and read on it's balcony. We went to the sales pitch, which is a hard sell 'one day offer' and, as our circumstances had changed since we accepted the offer, could not buy in. However, the stay was interesting. I wish breakfast was included but we found a Pancak... Read more

Last summer, I stayed at the Kingston Plantation 4 times, but the Hilton Resort was booked on previous stays. I had booked 2 stays in May 2016, and finally stayed at the Hilton, the last week in May. The customer service did not disappoint, staying consistent with what I have experienced with all my Hilton brand stays, especially at Myrtle Beach. They accommodated a great ocean view room, on a high floor, as well as complimentary internet and discounts at their restaurant. My boyfriend and I... Read more

Breakfast was awesome and best staff! Service was fine. Pool and access to water park but hotel did an awful job in telling us about attractions such as the "free" water park at embassy suites. If you want to be close to the boardwalk strip then do not choose this hotel as you needed ubers to get everywhere unless you rented a car. They do provide a shuttle but does not go very far.

The rooms at this hotel are very comfortable. I particularly like the fact that all rooms come with an ocean view. The staff is friendly, and there's a Starbucks plus sandwiches in the lobby, as well as a gift shop for incidentals. There is also a poolside bar that overlooks the beach. First let me begin by saying we have been coming to Myrtle Beach for close to 15 years & 90% of our stays have been at Hilton properties. On this occasion we stayed at this property for 5 days & 4 nights. The staff at the hotel (shout out to Arturo [bellman], Joanne [front desk] & Bogman [Server in restaurant]) were great! They & the beach/weather were the best part of our stay. We were very disappointed in the accommodations however. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys (ages 19 & 17). The ... Read more

I go every year with my wife and kids. It's a great resort, near everything but you secluded. The rooms are very nice, especially the Royal Palm, and the staff is excellent. The pools are ok, but need to be cleaned much more often because the bottom feels like sand far too often. The hot breakfast is great as well. I'm a Hilton Diamond member and each year, this is the place I choose!

The Hilton employees were all friendly and helpful. But the rooms are out dated, worn, and need care. Everything looked clean. The towels were raggedy. The carpets felt wet and a bit sandy. The pool areas needed attention. After 2 days, the remains of drinks (straws, orange slices, etc.) were still left around the pool side.

This is a beautiful property with the most amazing staff. Everyone is so nice and helpful, and the service is amazing. Everything is kept clean and beautiful, and the beach is literally right behind you. Virginia at the front desk was unbelievably helpful and accommodating, going out of her way to make our stay incredible. Cameron in the outdoor restaurant and bar was fun and playful, serving us a great lunch, providing great service and a warm smile. Do yourself a favor, visit this place!

It need some work too but this is way worse! We are Hilton honors so we stay at Hiltons often. So this will be a good, bad, and ugly type of review... The Good: Check in was easy and fairly quick. We were able to chose our rooms as Hilton Honors members so we were able to get a room right next door to... Read more

Hotel was ok and nice setting, but short staffed, long lines, and the real kicker was valet parking backed my vehicle into another. They accepted the blame for damages, but caused me a lot of time and headache, and offered no compensation for all the trouble.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The hotel rooms are in need of updating. They are old and tired looking. We had an ocean view room which meant a view between two buildings overlooking a parking area. We stay in hotels a lot and were not impressed. We had several small issues that added up to a lot. We were on the 14th floor and on two occasions had to go all the way back down to the front desk because our key would not work. No fun with two small kids. I was told by the unfriendly ... Read more

As a Hilton Diamond Member I'd expect more out of a Hilton Property at any level than this hotel provided overall. That being said, it's not terrible. It's very okay. The room is clean and comfortable, the view is great, the location is pretty good. This was, as I saw, one of the least expensive name brand hotels on the ocean in Myrtle Beach. The hotel suffers from some pretty serious corner cutting. There is no attention to detail, the rooms need to be renovated (especially the bathroom... Read more

We had dinner last night at this restaurant in the Hilton Hotel. Dinner was wonder, food was great, and our server "George" was excellent. He was not only personable, did not rush us and his service and smile was above all. What a pleasure to have dinner at a place we never went to and come away with a wonderful experience. I attribute it all to "George" and yes we will be back. Lou

I come to Myrtle Beach every year for a dental convention and have in the past stayed at various offsite resorts to save extra money during this time. Early this year I had at the last minute booked a trip and stayed at the Hilton. I met a bartender there by the name of Courtney. I can assure you that no other staff member in the entire hotel did more for me than her. She was sweet, kind and informative, even when I asked things that had nothing to do with her bartending skills, where things wer... Read more

We have stayed at the Hilton for 4 years. It isn't the newest or most modern hotel, but the pools are great, and it's right on the beach. Terrific location. When we had some issues with our room this year, the staff was quick to help and make sure we were happy. We'll definitely be back!

The hotel staff was great. They were friendly and helpful. I was pleased with the quality of the food and service in the restaurant. The room was smaller than I would have liked. So was the bathroom but it was clean and comfortable. I was disappointed in the outdoor area. The bar area is in desperate need of painting and decorating. It does not match the Hilton standard. The pools were crowded and I wonder if all the people using them were hotel guests. The bar/pool areas were disappointing. The... Read more

Checked in on Thursday early afternoon. Check in was smooth. Lobby is beautiful. I had a King room on 15 (top floor) but what they didn't tell me was that it was a mile from the elevators. That got old after 2 days. Room was nice. There's a few banged up walls and the curtains don't close all the way so you get some sun in the morning. Restaurants/Conference staff - AMAZING. Room required attention at check in. Clogged bathroom sink which took to calls to get corrected. Coffee maker had "stuff" floating in it. Beach has "City" umbrellas and chairs that you have to sit behind if you have your own umbrella all in front of it. Front desk is nice and helpful. Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. Good experience, but expected more from the brand and grandeur of the hotel.

Overall, the hotel was quite pleasant! Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices and the bar food was pretty good! Staff was friendly and most went out of their way to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. Some of the previous reviews complained about the pools being dirty but we saw no such thing. I will say though, that the water in the hot tubs and kids swimming pool does get quite murky by the end of the day with the sun screen washing off it it but this is no fault of the hotel. ... Here is our experience: The door to our room was outside which would have been fine except the gap between the floor and door was huge and hot air was blowing in so our whole visit we needed to put our beach towels agains the door. Not my favorite Hilton experience. Air conditioning was broken in first room and we had to sit there watching the guy try to fix it for an hour before they finally offered to move us.....We also like staying in hotels that offer free or reasonable priced breakfast. This one does not, just a Starbucks in lobby.

We recently stayed here for two nights as we were in town for a wedding. First off, the room was very worn and rundown. There was a splotch on one wall to indicate some painting in the future? Grime was clearly visible in the tiny bathroom area. Socket platings were lose, there was no liner in the one tiny trashcan in the whole room. When we left for the day, we saw a room service tray out in the hall. When we came back several hours later, it was still there. Beyond disgusting!! It was finally... Read more

The hotel is adequate. It's right on the beach which is great. The rooms are definitely older and not at all luxurious but it's a beach place so it's about what should be expected. They were generally clean. There was a random Cheeto in the doorframe leading to the balcony. Not sure how long that had been there but it was kind of gross. This is an amazing hotel. The rooms are very clean, which is typical of the Hilton brand. When you first arrive, the atrium of the hotel seems to be newly renovated. It is gorgeous. Stayed here on the basis that I had stayed before, the prices were reasonable, and it is far enough away from the majority of the Myrtle Beach traffic to not feel like you are overwhelmed with tourists. The hotel seems to have had a few cosmetic upgrades, but nothing major since my last stay 2 years ago. All of the staff was very friendly, and the bar on site is very convenient.
