We had a beachfront corner room with a wrap-around balcony on the 10th floor! The room has 3 sliders to the balcony, one in the living room and two in the bedroom. The view was incredible, even the shower has a window with a view of the beach. Very nice Breakfast buffet, comparable to most other Embassy Suites. This Embassy Suites is a beautiful beach front hotel.

My husband and I brought our two small children for two nights. We needed a suite so we could put them down before we went to bed. Unfortunately, booking through the Hilton website, I accidentally reserved a regular (non-suite) room that also doesn't include the additional amenities (complimentary breakfast and cocktail, free wifi, etc.). In my defense, the mistake was easily made since I was unfamiliar with the area and thought all the rooms were suites. Upon check-in, I discovered my mistak... Read more

We stayed here 3 nights and loved it. Our suite had a terrific view of Apache Pier. The rooms were spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. The staff were all very helpful and polite. We enjoyed the included breakfast - plenty of choices (from cereal and fruit to a hot buffet to cooked-to-order choices) and a pretty, ocean front dining area. I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stay at this hotel each year when he attends an annual state meeting there. It is a pleasant experience all around....lovely surroundings, on the beach, clean facility and efficient, pleasant staff. Breakfasts are very good, if occasionally crowded. Close proximity to outlet mall and excellent restaurants is a plus. Just don't count on using the free Wi-'Fi...it is totally overwhelmed with the traffic!

The private property of Kingston Estates is a must in busy Myrtle Beach. The resort has everything you need should you choose to stay onsite but its close to attractions. The free breakfast is amazing. The staff are mostly great. The views are unparalleled.

We chose this location while in Myrtle Beach for a wedding at the adjoining property. The big theme of this review ‚?? this hotel and the Kingston property does NOT live up to the standards of a true resort. Yes, it is big, but no‚?¶it does not have a resort feel. Overall, the service was great, and they treated us well, but I feel that the resort fee was not appropriate for the limited offerings. They do not even have lounge chairs on the beach‚?¶. which I see as a bare minimum for a resort. ... Read more

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and both times have been great. My best friend and I booked this hotel to celebrate her birthday and Barb, who checked us in, went out of her way to make sure that we enjoyed our accommodations. She allowed us to check out several rooms before choosing the final one and she arranged for champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to be sent to our room. Wonderful hotel right on the beach. Beach and water park/pool area were a wonderful combination. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and very efficient at handling the large number of guests at this hotel. Valet parking and bellmen excellent and appreciated by the older travelers like ourselves.Rooms nicely decorated and well kept. Beds a little high for people with some mobility issues (understand this is the "in thing" now.) Staff was excellent.

My stay did not start out very good but ended as an very good stay, I will return. The very first day there we had a couple of pillow cases that has stains that looked like makeup that did not come out in the wash but later that night we noticed the linen on the sofa bed and one of the beds in the bedroom felt like there was sand on them. Have been staying at Embassy for over 10 years, overall stay was very good however, décor is dated and there were stains on the sofa that could have been removed with cleaner. One of the staff asked us about being HH member and I said yes and had I signed up for free gifts I said I would do it later and asked didn't this entail a "sale or look at property" and she rolled her eyes and said of course not and I knew better had gone through this before...in essence she was rude.

Great kiddie area and pool but the crew never seems to know who needs wristbands and where to get them. I blamed it on early June and new workers. We stayed in the condos booked through embassy and that is another story. Good breakfast buffet but it was $15. if you go at 9:30 and call it brunch you can skip lunch and stay on the beach! Starbucks in the lobby so there is no free coffee or newspapers. Nice boardwalk to the beach and multiple pools.

My wife and I stayed here in late June 2016 and had a great time. The hotel is on the beach so the actual spot can't be beat. The beach itself had plenty of space and wasn't too crowded. There are umbrellas and chairs for rent for $40. The "lifeguards" there are the keepers of the chairs. I only saw lifeguards collecting money, never actually watching the surf. What a dismal place to stay. We waited 4 hours to check in and get our room even though we called a hour ahead to say we would be arriving early. Bathrooms near lobby had broken and the place smelled like a porta-John when we walked in. They were so behind in cleaning that there were lots of other families waiting. So full they couldn't hold our luggage for us. So we had to load it back into the car. Rooms were expensive and outdated. The so called 'kitchenette' was stocked w nothing. No plates... Read more

Service was great from the guy who checked us in to the staff in the dining area. Free breakfast every morning was very good. Rooms were nice, but the beds were a little lumpy and uncomfortable. Sofas were a little worn and had to call maintenance to come fix the toilet...probably because the toilet looked as if it had been there since the property opened. Love the location and service, just need a little updating!

Very attractive hotel, the grounds are great. Gated community. Hotel offers shuttle to places within 2 miles. Had issue with over flowing toilet but was fixed right away. Issue with air condition fixed but took 2 calls. Even though there were a couple of snags I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed one night in room 1608G recently. The room is a "lock off" of a larger condo. Our room was the efficiency side of the condo. There was plenty of space in the room including a small counter area with a sink, mini refrigerator and a microwave. The bathroom was oversized with a double vanity, a tub and a separate shower. Our balcony had a decent ocean view but was not very private. The design of the building allowed neighboring units to look at our balcony and into the balcony doors... Read more

Not a bad hotel but prices have gone up alot for the condition of this property. Bathrooms need updating bad, shower heads are way to big for the tub so water goes everywhere, furniture is shabby and the housekeeping leaves alot to be desired. This used to be one of our favorite stops but this time things have become less and cost more. Not that impressed. The managers reception was great, homemade chips and good dips, drinks were good. Bar staff very unfriendly and hotel staff do not seem to... Read more

We had a two room suite facing the ocean. The room was comfortable but they use something when they perform housekeeping that gave me an allergic reaction. I called housekeeping to ask that they don't use it in our room during our stay and they said they would but they continued using it. The cooked to order breakfast was good and the complimentary reception each evening was very nice. Overall, I would recommend this property.

We booked a long golf weekend package through the Kingston Plantation and stayed at the Embassy Suites. We had a great Ocean View room. The package included a full breakfast and that was enough so that we just had a light lunch after golf. The room was dated but clean and well maintained. For the price it was a great value. We were there off season but there are a number of outdoor pools, hot tubs, play areas for kids and a large indoor pool. The indoor pool is on the Plantation but about ... Read more

I went to the Embassy Suites for a conference during early November. Too late for a good beach weekend, cool weather and the water was chilly. But the hotel was nice - spacious rooms. I had two double beds, a separate living area with a table and four chairs, fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker. The works. The bed and pillows were comfy; the sheets felt like new. I had a great view of the beach from my bed. One morning when I woke early, I opened the sliding glass door and enjoyed the sunri... Read more

As long as you stay in the embassy motel your fine if you get an over flow rooms they are not up to embassy standard. The suites are very nice. I was there on business and didn't really get to enjoy the facilities.

Beautiful beaches, swimming pools, scenic views throughout the property from the palm trees to lighted fountains in the ponds. Great indoor pool and fitness center. Outdoor volleyball courts for a great beach experience. View of close pier and sea shells for beachcombers. A very relaxing beautiful spot for vacation. I will try to come again soon.

The suite layout was excellent (as always). The hotel lobby, bar, and restaurants were clean and pleasant. Our room was average (at best) and the bathroom was completely subpar (Suite 1409) with cheap replacement parts

The view from my oceanview room was fabulous to wake up to each morning. Having the balcony also allowed me to work from my room, but still feel like a vacation even though I was there on business!! Great service from hotel staff and very, very clean and well kept rooms, too!

Beautiful views; this is a wonderful conference hotel located right on the beach; one of the better embassy suite breakfasts is served along with outside 'beach bars'. In the evening the breakfast area is converted into a very nice upscale restaurant; that I would would not classify as a 'hotel' restaurant but a step or two above

Great place with awesome amenities including a large health center. Great breakfast and nice happy hour complimentary with the bar. There no indoor pool at the actual hotel they are at the health center on the other side of of the resort, which is bit inconvenient, but there is shuttle that would take you there.

This was THE place to go 20 years ago. It is still nice, but it is showing its age. The bathrooms are worn. I did like the resort had a free shuttle. It made getting to the nearby Tanger outlet easy and of course the beach itself was nice.

Great place; a little different from the average Embassy Suites hotel since it is located in the Kingstown Plantation resort that houses many other Hilton properties. The hotel is large so expect it to be crowded. The suite had a great view of the ocean. The adjoining room with sleep sofa - can make this very doable and comfortable for more than 2 people. The evening manager's reception was very nice and well as the breakfast buffet. The hotel also has a cute little gift shop (I act... Read more
