"Our stay at the Caribbean Resort and Villas was excellent. The front desk employee was knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. Our room was on the 1st floor looking directly over one of the swimming pools. We were worried about noise and told we could change rooms if it was a problem. The noise was not an issue and it was very convenient not using the elevator all the time. The hotel is right on the beach with a life guard at the beach every day. The life guard also rented the umbrellas and chairs. We carried our pop-up awning and chairs to the beach and set up right behind the umbrellas. The beach was great and raked nightly. The ocean waves provided hours of family fun. The 3 pools, 4 spas, water slide and 2 lazy rivers filled the rest of the day. The Sea Captain's restaurant is next door and provides great sea food and elegance.Front desk employee also recommended Mr. Fish for a less expensive setting but still great sea food and he was right. Our room had 2 double beds in the front room, a full kitchen and bath room in the middle and the living room facing the beach. The living room had a double Murphy bed and a sleeper sofa double bed. The bedroom had an old TV but it was fine and the living room had a flat panel TV and a DVD player. The rooms are dated and will need updating shortly but worked great for us. I highly recommend the Caribbean Resort & Villas for the family on a budget."

"Rented a ocean front suite that sleeps 6. There was a line at check in but it moved pretty quick. Luggage caddys were available within a reasonable time. We wanted the king bed for the wife and I but because of availability we got the two twins. It worked out. We gave the kids the twin beds and we took the pull down on the ocean side of the suite. Each bedroom had a door for privacy. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils, pots and pans, toaster,plates. Bathroom was a little small for four but manageable. Didn't use the pull out bed. The safe didn't have a lock on it. Overall the room and location were good. The family had a nice time. We will definitely stay at the Caribbean resorts Dominican Tower again."

"If u stay there u should def pay the lil extra for the condo. We started in a suite that slept 8. But then upgraded to a two bedroom condo that was so wonderful we stayed a extra two nights."

"The check-in experience was slow at best and the girl was so unfriendly.
The shower in the room ran hot/cold continually. No happy medium. Also found
hairs remaining in the shower. Also NO safe was found in the room. Apparently the rooms have been remodeled recently and the safes were not replaced."

"I was pleasently surprised by the quality of the resort. The room was very clean, and decorated nicely with modern decor. There were many pools and hot tubs which were able to accomodate everyone without feeling crowded. The on-site restaurant is a must if you stay here. The breakfast buffett is a steal for only $8.95 and high quality food. Dinner is a little more pricey, but totally worth it. Diners are able to take in an ocean view while enjoying a great meal! This is going to be my new spot when I travel to Myrtle."

"We stayed in the Jamaican bldg. on the north side of Sea Captain's restaurant. The rooms have recently been remodeled and were nice for the money. Didn't hear noise from other rooms. We were on the 4th floor with an ocean view. It was a beautiful view. We will definitely come back and stay here as we could walk to everything we wanted to see and do - probably a 2 mile radius. Nice time to go as it wasn't too hot and miserable."

"Well for starters I Booked this Online and was very unhappy. they photos this resort show online is nothing like where they placed us.. I booked the jamican ocean view room. I got put in the jamican motor inn down the street and was charged resort fees when i got there and you had to walk almost a block to get to the pool.Check in took 45 minunites and the desk clerks were veru un professional. The elevator was messed up all vending and ice machines in the inn was not working. You had to walk a block for ice. For the amount I payed It was Horrible. There were nicer places on website cheaper and i was unhappy. The house keeping didnt even want to come in your room and give you clean towels. This place is not recommended by me... over priced for bad beds and bad service.."

"WE PLAY ALOT OF SOFTBALL IN MYRTLE BEACH. WE ALWAYS GET A 3 BEDROOM CONDO. PLENTY OF ROOM, WASHER/DRYER, FULL KITCHEN, AND BEDROOMS WITH DOORS. THE LOCATION IS GREAT. THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN! THE POOL, LAZY RIVER AND HOT TUB IS A GREAT WAY TO RELAX BETWEEN THE GAMES. WE STAY AT THE CARIBBEAN WHENEVER WE GO MYRTLE BEACH."

"The hotel was in better shape than I expected for the price. I was disappointed that no one there knew of the two free tickets to zip line that was promised and nothing was done by the hotel staff to correct this issue. The pools were in great shape and enjoyed by all."

"i took this trip with my mom ans sister. we were expecting a regular hotel room and got alot more. very spacious, great veiws, very clean and loved the pools and loved that it was on the north end of myrtle not south so it was quieter. "

"My stay at Caribean Resort and Villa was very nice and unexpected. The prior weekend I also visited myrtle Beach but, stayed at a different resort and was very disappointed, However, Caribbean Resort was very clean, spacious, and the appliances were all up to date. Therefore, from now on, every time I return to Myrtle Beach, I will be staying at the Caribbean Resort."
