One of the most misleading and horrible placed I've ever walked into. Bugs everywhere and smelled awful. The lady checking us in was so rude. We demanded a refund in full which they did give us. The woman who worked with us for the refund was very nice, unlike her awful co-worker who had checked us in an hour before. Do not even consider staying here. This place is disgusting and crawling with bugs.

Our family checked into this disgusting hotel yesterday & couldn't get out fast enough! We were in Myrtle only one night for our daughter's cheer competition. The lobby, which was in a separate building, was very nice but that's the only reason I gave 1-star. As soon as we walked into the South building we realized it was seriously unkept. The elevator looked & sounded like it was about to break down. When we walked into the "2-room-2 bath, jacuzzi suite" (room 720-South) we could not belie... Read more

I have stayed here in the past so I knew what to expect. I always ask to see a room before completely checking in. It was Spring Break weekend and several other events cheer, golf, etc. so to get a reasonable priced rate at the last minute was perfect for our group. If you select this property do not select a room in the South Tower it is disgusting and should be closed. It has been disgusting for the past 10 years at least and the management is aware but chooses to do nothing. This trip we... Read more

When went and stayed at Boardwalk Beach Resort last year in June. The place was overall average. The room wasn't as clean as possible, the carpet was dirty. But the worst part was definitely the staff. When we would ask questions, they would get angry and then barely help us. That was the only bad part of our trip

We stayed here in room 936 from May 4 - 11. This condo was really nice. Most condo's in Myrtle Beach are owned by individuals and are run by different rental companies, so most of the time its hit or miss as far as what your room will be like. You can tell the owner of 936 wanted to make it as enjoyable as possible. Updated room, tile throughout, plenty of space, complimentary wifi, 2 flat screen tv's, dvd player with family friendly dvd's, they even have a book that they encourage guests to ... Read more

This was a great hotel... right in the middle of all the action... walk to everything! The rooms were clean and our room had a balcony view of the ocean and beach. I would stay here again and again. We were in the North Tower, which probably wasn't as fancy as the Main Tower, but it was still clean and right on the beach!

This was our third time staying here. As always we had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had constant wifi. The pools was always clean. We never had a problem finding a parking spot next to our building.

This is one of the best places on the beach! Myrtle Beach and the Boardwalk , views of the Sky Wheel at night as you walk on the sandy coast line, hand n hand with your husband or dancing along the shore with your kids the sound of the ocean as the waves roll up on beach all you can think of is how lucky you are to relax on this beautiful beach with your family and take time to enjoy life...

First off the building is old and dirty and the elevators are unsafe! We went to get a refund and the manger tried to refuse at first, but after arguing for 15 minutes they had no choice.. First of all the rooms are really gross and disgusting! Our room looked more like a motel, with dirty carpets, bad plumbing, dog smell triggered my allergies! We complained to the front desk and nobody really cared, all they offered was to change our room. The second room they gave us was of the same disgusti... Read more

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at! Everything was very out dated, mold on the pillows, oven kept turning on, box TV, and shower had a slow leak. Also had bad customer service.. Contacted the front desk about the room and they were very rude. Defiantly not worth the amount of money.

If you want you're personal possessions stolen from you're room by housekeeping then this is your resort. Recently while staying in this resort June 8th-12th with a few friends, I had a very valuable piece of jewelry stolen from the room by housekeeping. I had 3 witnesses that saw the jewelry on the table before we left for the beach when we came back, our beds were half made, no kitchen towels, 2 shower towels and no necklace. Clearly somebody was in the room. I called down the the office to s... Read more

I thought I would give this place a try because everything was so expensive for July 4th weekend. This place is disgusting. The carpet in the rooms were smelly, sticky and nasty. The bathrooms floors looked like they had not been cleaned in months. There was a 13 inch BOX tv that picked up about 5 channels. The elevators were slow and very old, felt unsafe. They only had 2 pools that were open and the water felt greasy. The lazy river didn't have jets to make the water move, it was just standin... Read more

Where do I start with all the problems that we have had at this unit and with this horrible customer service and maid service. So we get here at 5:45 on Saturday and get our key packet from Elliott. After having to wait for someone to move just to get in to unload, we finally got our things out of the car and head to the room. We get there and the key opens the deadbolt but not the keyless entry lock. We call Elliott back and they tell us that the key works, which it does NOT but they are bas... Read more

First, the set up of the resort was really weird. The guest office is across the street from the resort. The front desk was friendly but did not suggest any activities or anything to us. When we got to our building, it felt like their was NOOOO air conditioning on. As we made our way up to the 9th floor, the elevators were old and scary. The doors have an actual key, not a key card. It was really hot in the hall way and smelled horrible. Our room. We got a one queen size bed with a Jacuzzi oce... Read more

I stayed in the north tower for 4 nights and the location is great but the microwave had old food from someone else smeared on it still, there was a ball of hair in the shower before we ever used it, the toilet was crooked and the dishes were dirty in the cabinets I had to rewash them all before I used them. Everything was old and outdated which wouldn't have been that bad if it was atleast clean but everything seemed to have just been barely wiped off if at all. The thermostat didn't work so it... This was a hotel in very bad condition. Stayed in north tower. 8th floor, ocean front, 2 db, balcony. This is obviously the oldest building. Elevators are old and dingy, smelly, floor lights inside not operating. Hallways are dim. Felt unsafe. This room required the use of an actual key. Carpeting throughout is dirty and needs cleaned/replaced. Room was only vacuumed once in our 5 night stay. The box spring mattresses are old and stained. Pillows flimsly. The microwave was disgusting inside. I a... Read more

I read some of the reviews and was kind of afraid to stay but decided to anyway. I am glad I did.We stayed in the main tower, 9th floor. The room had no frills but had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We found the staff to be very friendly. Check-in took around 5 ?? 10 minutes, total. We talked to several of the support staff and found them to be very helpful and attentive. Thyece is great. She made our day. We plan to book here again.

We rented our condo privately through vrbo. The condo was great but the property it's self is in serious need of updates. The pools were always dirty and lazy river was usually filthy. The elevators do not have air, so it definitely feels like a sauna when you are in them during the warmer months.probably wouldn't stay here again.
