"When planning our 20th anniversary trip we took a gamble on choosing the "mystery... package but our gamble more than paid off. From the minute we stepped up to the front desk we were spoiled rotten. We were upgraded to a suite with a balcony with the most amazing view of the ocean and given club level access passes which included a deluxe continental breakfast, appetizers in the afternoon, and 24 hour access to soda, snacks, and bottled water. All of the reviews stated how comfortable the beds were and I must say all of that was true, the bed was like a giant pillow and the comforter molded its way around you. The hotel itself was spotless and very modern. The entire staff was amazing from the Bell Hop always ready to call a cab to Housekeeping and their attention to detail to the Bartender that makes a killer Apple Martini. They are all top notch. Room Service even found a way to make my husband a milkshake even though they didn't have a blender. I will be returning to this hotel in the future and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, beautiful, customer oriented hotel only steps away from of all the action at the beach. They really made our vacation amazing!"

"There is NOTHING abouth this hotel that is four stars. The room was not ready until virtully an hour after it was supposed to be. The front desk said they would call when the room was ready... never did. We phoned twice, and it still wasn't ready. Finally, we went and STOOD at the front desk and they say oh yes, it's ready, thanks for your patience. No, not patient...upset, and late for our dinner meeting. The hall was filthy. The room was cleanISH. Walls paper thin. No hot water in the sink until the sink until the second night when my husband discovered it was shut off underneath. Sure, I could have called, but really?? The pool and hot tub were so disgusting I immediately got out and went up an got straight into the shower. I'm talking brown stuff smeared on the wall, hair and trash all over the edge of the hot tub deck... nasty. My husband and I went to have a nightcap at the bar around 11pm. Nope...closed, even though the hours say til 12am. Horrid service, the second night it was open...rudely told us he was closing in 15 minutes...again, don't advertise in your '4-star' hotel that you are open til midnite! Horrid experience all around. No...the free breakfast coupon did not make up for it. Oh yah, be prepared for all of the smokers they put right across from the main door. Really smart!!!"

"The hotel was very nice but however I was told before booking the room that the hotel was not beach front but was just across the street. The Hotel was about 1/2 mile or further from the beach and had to cross 4 roadways 2 of which were 4 lane highways one of which was a main highway and hard to cross. parking at the beach area was impossible, we had to walk the whole distance and cross the highways. If I had know that the hotel was that far away from the beach I would not had booked it."

"The Hotel was truly a 4-star hotel. The employees were polite, nice clean rooms, nice bathroom, that's very important to me. My only problem was the bed. I had a king size bed, and the mattress was at its end. It was extremely soft, I felt like I was sinking while I tried to sleep. Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Mattress was too soft. I was so suprised, since this was such a nice hotel."

"This hotel is definitely not 4 star. First, we had to sleep double beds our entire visit. Each day we went to the front desk to request a king, their response was 'well since you booked through a 3rd party, we can not guarantee a king.' We stayed on the 6th floor and the hallway was extremely hot. We complained the first day, but the issue was never resolved. Free wifi is only on the 1st and 2nd floor. I was extremely disappointed with these accommodations. The wallpaper was peeling in the room too."

"I was very pleased witht he overall hotel experience. the decor is nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. overall I give the hotel a A- only because of the parking situation. it was nearly impossible to find somewhere to park just to check in as the parking lots require a room key to enter. After check in and walking what seems a 1/2 mile to get to the Lobby then to your room. the parking fee was reasonable $8.00 per day but you can not access the hotel from the parking garage. The staff was wonderful!"

"I booked the hotel for Myrtle Bch, SC and was very surprised. The location was great being 2 blocks from the beach, great walking distance to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The hotel rooms was great for the price. Very pleased."

"It was very clean but had a big wet spot in middle of the floor. We called the front desk and they sent someone up to look at it. Nothing was done about and they didn't offer to move us so we dodge it the whole time. On a good note, the bed was very comfortable and the consieur was very helpful and nice."

"I figured that I couldn't go wrong getting a room at this Hotel for such a low price, but was I ever wrong. I ended up in a room with a broken heater, a busted floor tile in the bathroom, and a broken shower head! I would have never expected such from a hotel of this caliber. I'm glad I didn't pay full price, I'm a little irritated at the fact that I paid the amount that I did, for I feel as though I was still ripped off!!!"

"This hotel was nice, but I would not say it is upscale. The hotel is older although very neat and clean. The beds were not comfortable and I was disappointed to see that we had 2 double beds in the room instead of a king. The bathroom was nice except for the shower which was an older shower and ours had some rust in it. Check in was quick and easy as was check out."

"This was such a great deal during a visit to Myrtle Beach during prime summer. The Mystery Hotel was great...clean, courteous staff, and accommodating.
We had taken a quick trip for the sole purpose of seeing the new Pirates Voyage show and just wanted a nice place to stay which was not too far from anything. This hotel was very near where we wanted to be and just blocks from the beach.
Once we actually booked the hotel and found out the location we recommended the site and Mystery option to friends that also booked at the hotel. They decided to stay an additional night and the hotel could not match the price. They went to the complimentary computer area at the hotel, booked another night through BOOKIT and the hotel allowed them to stay in the same room...very accommodating. I don't just recommend this Mystery Hotel, but plan to try others in different locations as well.

"This hotel was excellent for the cost. My girlfriend and I wanted to stay just a night to do some shopping and go out to get some drinks in the evening. The room was very nice, but the bed was amazing. Probably the most comfortable hotel bed Ive ever slept in.
The hotel staff were very friendly. When we asked for a cab recommendation, they called the cab company for us and they were there within 3-4 minutes.
We got to sleep in as check out is later than most hotels which was nice.
The only negative thing I can think of was the internet connection. The ethernet connection was extremely slow, and they had an 'upgraded connection' you could purchase for $11.95. It wasnt a huge issue as I wasnt there to get online but its nice to have for pulling up coupons/researching things to do on your stay."

There are many hotels in Myrtle that I would not stay in based on properties outside appearance. No problem with this hotel. The hotel is not on the beach but close enough. This was a quick shopping trip so the time we spent on the beach was enough. Perhaps if I went for the sole purpose of going to the beach I would have preferred an ocean front hotel. "I couldn't believe I got a first class hotel at Myrtle Beach on the 4th of July for
the price I paid. It was a wonderful experience because we got to spend time
with all of our family.

The hotel was having a dance competition so we even got to watch some of
the dancers perform.
