This Hampton In was lovely - the lobby and breakfasta area quaint and roomy, also archtecture within the lobby reminiscent of the area of Charleston and Mt Pleasant, SC. I arrived after midnight and multiple flight delays straight from another business trip, and my reservation was incorrect. The nighttime desk clerk, CLAIRE, was a godsend. She made sure this Hilton Diamond member had a room, even though they were pretty much booked. She checked with her manager, checked me in, made sure I was co... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights. We were greeted as honors guest. They were going to upgrade our room. We asked if the bathroom was handicapped accessible. It was not. They put us in a handicapped accessible room. If you had a wheelchair it would not fit. The bathroom had handle bars but he bottom of the shower stall was slippery-not safe for anyone. The rooms need some updating. Dust was on all flat surfaces. I like the location of this Inn but I think in the future I research out other Hilton Hot... Read more

This Hampton is not the cheapest ($180 plus per night), but the location is great. It is just off a shopping center, minutes from the Isle of Palms and the sweetgrass parkway. The included breakfast is what you find in most Hamptons, and there is a pool. This is a resort area, so check prices for seasonal variation.

Unlike many hotels, the front desk made our group check-in quick and easy as they were prepared ahead of time for our arrival. The breakfast was adequate and the dining area lovely. Once again, I chose this hotel because it was very close to the location I was going to be working at. My issues with this hotel are again, with staff/customer service. I walked in, and one of the employees was talking to another guest, so I waited my turn. The 2nd employee looked lost (turns out he was new, so the blank look and slight panic in his eyes was forgiven), so I just waited. They wrapped up and the guest walked away, and I'm still standing there - no one said anything. Finally, I had... Read more

I have been going to this hotel for a few years, with at least a couple visits a year. The hotel is in a desirable location and I have always felt safe and comfortable both inside and outside of the building, during the day and night. Though the rooms assigned to our reservation were not ready upon checkin, the gentleman working the front desk at that time was warm and friendly, and he quickly adjusted our reservation to two rooms that were prepared for new guests and got us in in no time. This hotel was clean, comfortable and had a friendly, accommodating staff. We were only there for a Mat Kearney concert and only spent one night so we didn't use and pool or eat breakfast. It's easy to access and is close to the mall. We travel to Charleston frequently and will be staying there again.

Stayed for a week while on business. Happy to get a room with a kitchen. Able to eat most meals in. Fortunate my room was at the end of a hall and relatively quiet. Unfortunately some of my colleagues not as lucky wtih noise especially late at night. Staff is very friendly. Seems a bit unreasonable to pay $3.00 for a load of laundry and an additional fee to use the dryer. I was happy to have brought laundry detergent from home and did some handwashing. Exercise room is a bit small if mutiple peo... Read more

We were on our way to Myrtle Beach and spent the night here. The room was nice and as usual, breakfast is included with the stay. What was really nice was that there is a shopping center behind the hotel that has everything. We got there early enough to go to the movies. After the movie we walked around and had to go to TCBY shop. I had no idea there was a TCBY shop and treated my kids to the original frozen yogurt experience.

We cannot thank the staff at the Hampton Inn Mt Pleasan/Isle of Palms enough. We stayed at the hotel to secure ourselves for when hurricane Mathew hit Charleston. The staff (front desk, food service, support, etc...) was unbelievablely accommodating and calm during the this time of uncertainty. The rooms and lobby were extremely comfortable. It was truly a pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

The staff at this hotel was outstanding! We were treated to genuine ssouthern hospitality from the moment we walked in to this clean and well maintained hotel, until the time we left. The ladies who were working in the breakfeast area in the morning were truly outstanding customer service professionals that are increasingly rare to find in many hotels nowadays. I absolutely recommend this hotel to other families or business travelers visiting the area.

We came to Mount Pleasant for a family vacation and to visit friends. The location of the hotel was very convenient. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Our suite was spacious and nice. The breakfast area was also spacious and convenient. There were restaurants, shopping and gas stations close to the hotel. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again if we returned to Mount Pleasant..

Thumbs up and a big thank you to John and the staff! My husband left his wallet on the nightstand and John made sure it reached the airport for us. He also handled a tough situation with noisy repair work from hurricane Matthew that needed to be done early. He offered compensation when it wasn't asked for or expected to make sure we felt taken care of. We loved the breakfast ladies cheery good mornings too. The kindness and generosity were greatly appreciated!

I really like this hotel as I stayed here this past June. However, a little different from my most recent stay. More disorganized and some questionable clientele. Do not come here if you want a great night's sleep, you'I'll only get it between 3a-6a. But Isabelle, Marilyn, Murray, Rosalee, and Trish are top notch staff!

A great location for busy holiday beach trip. Getting to the Isle of Palms beach during the crowded summer holidays can be alot of work with the heavy traffic. This location offers direct access to the Isle of Palms Connector off of Hwy 17 which takes you to the North end of the beach. There is also the adjacent Towne Center for shopping and with good restaurant options. This facility is very clean, with comfortable beds and a very helpful staff.

We were in town for a weekend wedding in Charleston, but the downtown hotels were super expensive. We opted to stay in Mt. Pleasant which was a pretty drive only 15-20 minutes away. Great shopping in the area and easy to get around. The hotel staff was friendly and made us feel welcome and appreciated. The value was great, less than half of what we would have paid to stay in downtown Charleston.

My family spent the last 4 days at this hotel; aunts/uncles, grandparents, & my family including 2 toddlers. The entire staff was wonderful. Check-in was a breeze, housekeeping was very friendly & helpful, and the ladies working the continental breakfast were a blessing. They helped me get food for my elderly grandparents & my 3 yr twin boys. I could not have done without those 2 sweet ladies!! Thank you for your cheerful spirit on such a hectic morning! Overall, better than the "normal" Hampton. Really liked the extraspace/room in the King w/small kitchen area. Would prefer than bath sink was not exposed to bedroom. We agree that the staff really is a plus for this property, everyone would say hello or give welcoming comments. Breakfast again a little better than Hampton norm. Although I was a little surprised that what I believe was suppose to contain sausage gravy was empty on the 3rd morning. Would definitely stay again. Price/value way abo... Read more

The day before Oct. 22nd, I had just finished running the Fayetteville, NC half-marathon with my grandson who's stationed at Ft. Bragg. I was sore and my hips were shot, so I found myself limping and shuffling (picture Tim Conway) into the Hampton Inn. I gave my name to the desk clerk and he said, "Mr. DeGhelder, I'm going to put you in room 251. I told him that was fine and we proceeded to room 251. It was a room for handicapped folks! I stayed in the suite, which has the kitchen and sofa. The carpet and furniture were at least 10 years old, probably more. Stains on the carpet, very old and worn couch, it just did not feel/look clean. Time to put some $$ into remodel.

We have stayed at this location several times and this time, the grounds and the room was extremely clean during a weekend stay. Front desk was very helpful and actually gave us an upgrade to a corner room, which is a mini suite. Would like to have pre-registered without having to download the app. Location is absolutely great and provides numerous places to eat and shop. Overall excellent stay!

Nice clean hotel with usual amenities. Rooms are a bit noisy as the walls are thin. Small parking lot not easy to park larger trucks. Not real easy to get to as it's located in an open air mall. Convenient to shopping & dining. Reasonably priced.

This place is easy to get into and out of with the busy highway 17 and the Isle of Palm connector. The staff and hotel were great! I needed a place to stay for a couple of nights due to the family arriving for Thanksgiving and the place we rented on the beach was full so the hotel provided the extra space. Stayed here before and would stay again.

I was welcomed by a joy filled woman who smiled deeply, pride in "her" hotel evident. She introduced herself as "Mama"....indeed she acted as a generous mother--I felt at home and even had a tasty evening snack before I even made it to my room. For someone away from his family on work, it was a genuine blessing! I will be back!
