We reserved an ocean front condo for $300 a night. Upon arrival we walked into a musty mildew condo. The appliances didn't match, shower head was covered in mildew and the bed hard as a rock. The space was making I'll from the musty smell I asked to be transferred. They did allow us to transfer. I requested a place with a kitchen as we had brought a bunch of food. We walked in the new room and it was a regular room, no kitchen. We were tired to move again. Went to Huey's for dinner and had the w... Read more

Our family has visited the resort for the past 7 years. Each year we feel the staff and upkeep of the resort get better with each visit. The accommodations have always been first class - we have stayed in the village condo's, racquetball town-homes, private homes as well as the boardwalk homes. We have not stayed at the hotel. Lots to do with the family. Our only disappointment was only one restaurant was open (the Lettered Olive was closed for our stay in late May). The Boardwalk restaur... Read more

We really loved this resort! We came as a getaway, but will most definitely return with the whole family next time. We rented an ocean front townhome, and it couldn't have been more perfect. My only complaint about the whole experience was the "card on file" might not necessarily be the one you want, which ended in a refund and charge on the right card. Whenever you use your debit card or credit card anywhere it becomes a "card on file". We used the spa, used the shuttle, went to the boardwalk f... Read more

I came for a wedding, but ended up having non stop fun the entire weekend! Met some great people and got to see family, I hadn't seen for a long time. The staff was all so friendly, even when I was by myself at the bar!!! And all the other guests were friendly and fun, too!!!

Disappointed in the cleanliness and standard of the home we stayed in. Clearly we paid for location and not at all for quality of accommodation. The beds were in horrible shape with sunken mattresses (severely) and headboards rattling at the slightest move. Disappointed.

Stayed at Mariners Walk, Loved the screened off porch, with easy access to pool and beach. condo was very clean and quiet and overall was a pleasant stay. The resort however is not consistent inits service. Booked one bedroom condo online, but wasnt aware of it being a queen bedding only. There is no daily housekeeping offered, bathroom amenities are sparse none of which is published on the site. Also when asked to relocate to a condo with a king bed as that is clearly what our reservation said,... Read more

We were really impressed with the accommodations and overall look and feel of the property as a whole. When we arrived, our room number was written down wrong and our code to get in to our room didn't work, but I had the number on the information they had just given us and it was easy to call and get that all straightened out. Our condo had a great location and easy beach access. The beaches were beautiful and not crowded, which was a plus. We wished our dining credit was valid at all of the res... Read more

The customer service was awful from the first moment I called to book at place at Wild Dunes. The information provided to me changed every time I called. The confirmation email was not the price they had quoted me over the phone when I called to ask about this they said "oh my bad". The washer/dryer in the condo we stayed in ruined our clothes. The condo was clean except for all of the stains on the carpet. The condo we stayed in was nice but way over priced.

First time here. Not too impressed for the cost. We reserved room a few months in advance and felt like this was not the best room they gave us. Internet down for over a day, housekeeping missed our room for 2 days, bedside phone didn't work, no bath tub just a shower. We were disappointed since when we made the reservation we were told by the reservationist he was putting us in a great room. Room seemed a little dated considering it was a deluxe. Hotel lobby is very nice and an upscale restauran... Read more

This was our 6th year back at Wild Dunes, and it never fails to meet our expectations. The virtual check in and check out is a fabulous addition. The entire place is immaculate. Definitely plan to attend again.

Loved the resort and our stay. Only issue was with Housekeeping not cleaning room before 3pm and requiring phone calls to have housekeeping show up then (even leaving $ tips to housekeeping didn't help)

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you have children. The pools and beach areas are great for kids and a bunch of other activities. The service was great and the rooms were very clean. Great feeling of community here.

If all you need to do is arrive and savor the experience without making all the arrangements, Wild Dunes has every indulgence and convenience available at your fingertips. The resort provides every amenity for your convenience. Accommodations were well appointed, high end and ascetically pleasing. Food, although pricey, was excellent and met our expectations for a destination resort. Something for everyone, kiddy movie night, golf for dad, spa for mom, along with great workout areas. Room had musty smell upon arrival - took over an hour to get all bedding changed to resolve problem. Service in restaurant very slow; had to leave without receiving full order. Way too expensive for quality of overall product at this resort.

Our recent trip was enjoyable, as expected. Just watch the bartender in the Boardwalk Inn. Just because a customer does not have the time to address miscounted change does not mean the change was right.
