This is a great location for visiting the Charleston area! It is quite new and offers all the amenities expected in this level hotel at less than half the price of downtown hotels in Charleston with free parking. We had a car, but took Uber into town for only $8.57 each way. No need to pay to park our car or deal with the one way streets. Our room was spacious, quiet with a comfy bed, pillows, and linens. Beautiful hotel with great location if you need to slip out to pick up something you forgot. Quick trip into downtown Charleston or to the beach. Traffic was not bad during our stay. Please read the site carefully. I had counted on treating my daughter to a traditional Hilton Honors breakfast and the Garden Inn does not do breakfast unless you purchase it for an additional fee.

We were at the Hilton Garden Inn Charleston/Mt Pleasant from June 22nd through June 25th. The hotel is located at the base of the Arthur Ravenel Jr bridge which was ideal for us. We were able to visit family, friends and the local restaurants in downtown Charleston with relative ease. Overpriced room and breakfast. We paid 323.00 for one night and were charged 12.95 for breakfast for 12 and older. When I arrived into my room the remote didn't work and no cold water was available in the bathroom. Maintenance said the water doesn't get cold on that floor. Once checking out the manager, Felicia said the entire hotel doesn't have water and she doesn't at her house. I find that hard to believe because I heard no one else complaining of no cold water in their rooms. Guests need to be informed of that ahead of time and signs should be posted upfront! View of the bridge was amazing- room was clean and bed and pillows extremely comfy --I usually find the opposite in hotels. Both the food and drink were very reasonably priced and staff very helpful and courteous. Loved the location too - easy to pop into Charleston but handy for visiting Patriots Point and Sullivan's Island. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough !

We came here during hurricane Matthew and even though we were all nervous, the stay was fantastic thanks to the staff. There were only a few of them working and they were the most accommodating and friendly people. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and we will definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone that visits here.

I was overcharged by over $100. Resolving this require time following up with my credit card and phone calls to Hilton. They fixed the issue and admitted it was their error. However this could have easily slipped by if I didn't spend my own time checking the fees actually billed to my credit card.

I have to hand it to the two Jennifersâ?¦ One at the front deskâ?¦ And one handling the food area and bar. This hotel ran better in a hurricane than most places do in everyday weather. They were fantastic along with the whole staff. I know the head of maintenance was pressed to the limits by water leaking and other situations but they did a fantastic job in making the guests feel welcome and comfortable. Great job!

We had to evacuate our home on an island during Hurricane Matthew. The hotel staff welcomed us after the storm had started and were gracious to us. We were given waters and offered glow sticks in case the power went out. Room was comfortable and we didn't need a single addition.

We have been visiting Charleston frequently, as our daughter will be attending The Citadel in Fall of 2017. This is the 3rd hotel we've stayed at in the area and the first one in Mt Pleasant. Funny thing, it was closer to the campus than the ones with the Charleston address (not down town)! The hotel was very easy to find, very clean, beds were comfortable and the rooms were good sized. Hilton Garden Inn in Mt Pleasant is a great hotel. Staff is very friendly and even though I had a few issues, they were corrected immediately. this is a great location near Patriots Point, just off the Ravenel bridge, and is close to tons of restaurants and shopping. Rooms were large and comfortable, and include fridge and Keurig coffee maker. I had a lovely view of the bridge.

My husband invited me along on one of his business trips to Charleston this week so I flew over from California on a whim! I have never been to such a beautiful city. Since I arrived after my husband who was then at a meeting, he just told me to get a key at the front desk. Well, that was a big mistake. Neither of the undertrained employees at the front desk could understand what I needed! It was just a key! The girl with glasses just looked at me like she didn't understand what I was asking,... The front desk staff is wonderful and very helpful. Our stay was for 6 nights and upon arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful large suite. Our plan included a full breakfast each morning which had great choices. I would highly recommend this hotel and all the southern hospitality Charleston and Mt. Pleasant offer.

We found this place on the web, because we wanted to visit downtown Charlston. Well it's a perfect spot being only 3 minutes from the bridge. It's a very clean and new hotel, with breakfast & dinner. The breakfast was good but they need a better dinner menu, needless to say we will be back again.

The location of this hotel is convenient for anyone wanting to run or bike on the Cooper River Bridge. Maybe the Hampton Inn by Hilton has a slightly better location for getting access to the bridge's walking/biking lane but for those who know how to cross a six lane boulevard, it's fine. The bridge from beginning to end is about 3 miles and the grade felt like it was between 1% and 3%. So a round trip yields 6 miles with maybe 200 feet of total vertical rise. There's a clearly marked walking/ru... Read more
