Not held up to Hilton Standards. Room was dirty. Repairs in the room were done with ridiculous materials. Beds were uncomfortable. Hotel was noisy both inside and out. I would not stay here again or recomend this hotel to anyone that I actually like or care about.

Our first night on Hilton Head Island was spent at the Hilton Garden Inn. We received a very nice welcome from one of the males at the reception counter. Our room was large enough with 2 queen beds, a small bathroom, frig, desk area, and a lounge chair. The first thing we noticed was the worn carpeting that showed many spots. Even though we were tired after a 12 hour drive, the beds did not look appealing and inviting and we waited to lie down until after the coverlets were pulled back revealing... Read more

The hotel is the closest you can get to Hilton Head Island itself without paying island prices. It is literally next to the marsh before the bridge going to to the island.. It is clean and if you ask for a back facing room, quiet. It is tricky to get into. The driveway is almost hidden and before you know it, its over the bridge for you...with a u-turn down the road. In heavy traffic. So, you enter at Moss Drive then take that road around to the hotel. Moss Dr is like a double horseshoe with busin... Read more

I was at this hotel for three days for a training seminar. The hotel decor is beautiful, has a beachy theme with colors, music and furnishings. The food at the cafe is ok, average. Breakfast is $5 per person for the buffet. Some of it is pre-made, and you can order eggs how you want them, omelettes, etc. The hotel is right before you go over the bridge toward HH island and is off the hwy tucked in trees but a nice quiet location. I'd stay here again.

I had a great experience at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was just for one night however I felt welcomed with open arms. Everyone was warm and inviting. Every area was clean and well kept. What put this visit over the top for me was my breakfast. I had a sick baby with an ear infection. He was very fussy so I decided to take him down to the lobby so we wouldn't wake the other guest at 6 am. The young lady working the breakfast area was very kind and really took care of us. When we got here and checked in the front entrance it was gorgeous and the staff was exceptionally friendly. However the room and hotel floors were much to be desired. We were able to book this last minute to allow us to stay on the island an additional night. The only room they had was smoking and they offered a generous ($60.00) discount. It smelled like smoke (even though we were told it "had not been used") but we really only used the room to sleep in got 7 hours. It was about 15 minute drive to Coligny beach which appeared to be the closest. I would return again if I could not find a f beachside property that was reasonably priced on the island.

I am going to preface review by stating that i am a Hilton Diamond Member for all of 2016 and now for 2017 as well. I travel frequently and stay at assorted Hilton properties. Went to the Hilton Head area on a combo business/vacation and used nearly 150,000 points to book this hotel for 6 nights. First night fire alarm went off after coming in from a full day of travels. Overall a great experience. Bathrooms can be cleaner. If there were more available parking spots, that would be more convenient for guests. There's not much for young people to do around this hotel, besides the beach; however, you can become creative. The weather was awesome too!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights over Thanksgiving, visiting family nearby. We picked the hotel mainly for location and have stayed there before. Since our last visit, the lobby had been completely renovated. It looks great - very clean and modern. I don't remember what our room looked like during our previous visit (several years ago), but our room this time (a king suite) was very nice and spacious, with a separate sitting area with a TV. Staff was friendly and responsive. We would def... Read more

Good stay. Everything was as expected. Breakfast was one price for all items and no a la Carte. We only wanted a light breakfast and weren't willing to pay $12 for just oatmeal. Room was clean and pretty quiet. Nice dark room made it easy to sleep
