We were building a home and checked in March 28 and leaving Dec 17 and it was family. Very clean. I'm going to be in tears to leave. Wonderful staff from Karen the GM to Nicole the assistant and Jeremy the sales. Love the maintenance Azar and Jason. They have been our moral support. On previous trips to Greenville, I have stayed at the Fairfield Inn (Fisherman's Lane). My corporate travel tool listed the Residence Inn as a preferred hotel, so I booked that for a 5-night business trip. The hotel staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Even the head engineer asked if all was ok with the room. The room itself was adequately equipped, comfortable, and clean. The room however, was showing some age especially the carpet even though the website says it was renovated in 2014. The shower had hot water and even pressure. The linens were clean and stocked. The location was great, the room was okay, though our mirror was cracked and we were missing a pillow for the sofa bed for my daughter. The service was great - the people were really friendly. The breakfast was quite adequate, with really nice staff.

Staying at this hotel was everything you would want to experience. The staff were the friendliest that we have encountered. Everyone, including housekeeping, introduced themselves to us and told us to contact them personally if we needed anything. We chose this hotel for our group to stay in bacause Marriott is such a good Hotel chain. We were not dissapointed, Jeremy Bishop, the sales manager not only gave us a discounted rate, but set up our own link to make the reservations, Then they put up our banners and even decorated my sister's room for her birthday, which I mailed to them. If you looking for a place that just like home, look no further. The staff greets you with a smile and offer fresh hot coffee. The room are clean and nicely furnished. The beds will make you not want to get up the next day; but you must or you will miss the great breakfast that is offered daily. Social hours is a relaxing time to meet with friends or just hang out by the fire pit and pool. Only place your find better then this hotel is your own home.

This is a great place. I was there for 4 weeks on a business trip. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Tonya does an excellent job in the mornings with the breakfast in the Lobby. She is very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are well kept and very clean. Love the studio set-ups. Great place. I would recommend.

Our stay was wonderful! We were warmly greeted by the front desk employees! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a variety of choices! We contacted the front desk concerning an odd looking bug in our room. My husband took it to the front desk and they were very apologetic and offered to change us to another room while they took care of it. This Residence Inn is a bit older than some of the others that I've stayed at. It does have a very comfortable bed and a living room with a small kitchen. Everything is very well kept, but the bathroom could be updated a little. Also their gym area was not as extensive as most other gym's at Residence Inn. Breakfast was very good and the staff was all friendly. Overall I had a very nice stay.

I traveled to Greenville for business twice inside of a thirty day period and liked the Residence enough to stay there the second time around. The rooms were nicely equipped (I had one of the suites with the full kitchen) and the free breakfast was a nice feature. It's handy to shopping and I-85, the main vein around the Greenville area. I'll start by saying I'm not a picky traveler. I travel a lot for business and I trust the Marriott brand. This place is a horrible representative for the brand. It was so bad I'll probably consider only Hilton properties in my future travels. This place is old and desperately needs a remodel. The appliances are old and the dishes are worn and appear dirty even if they are clean. Somwhat suprised, it was not as nice as I stayed a while back. I still had great customer service.. The housekeeping, I do not know for sure seemed to be short staffed. I still love the amenities, the kitchen, firelplace and ofcourse the breakfast. It is a little tiight in the the breakfast area, I was able to find a singel chait and get a paper, I still enjoyed a great breakfast. All in all I will be back close to BMW.

I've had a very average stay at this property. There was a bunch of hair from the previous guest in the shower. Although a small thing, something like that is a definite turn-off. Bed was a very comfortable memory foam, but sheets were torn and should be replaced. Stains on carpet detracted from the overall appeal of the room. Positives: Convenient access to I-85 and many restaurants.

Overall a very typical clean, comfortable hotel expected at a RI and a very friendly staff. But (hence the 3 stars which coflicts with their displayed Trip Advisor Award)... The TV consistantly went to pixilation mode - was his foot in-bounds? No clue. The airconditioning sounded like a hot air baloon blast when in came on and the shower went from cold to warm ok, but turn more for hot and it got colder.

We stayed here last weekend and was pretty happy with it. Now that Marriott has bought Sheraton brand we were able to trade our points and try it. I liked the fact the living area was private from the sleeping area, with a door in-between. It had a small kitchenette and living area, with plenty of sitting area.
