Room was clean and area was quiet. No coffee maker in room. Breakfast was lacking so went to McDonald's across the street. Was truly dog friendly with area around hotel to walk the dog. Overall just a place to spend the night and get back on the road.

Breakfast room was tiny with only 2 tables. Breakfast was minimal and unappealing. Old and shabby overall. Stair treads leading to second floor were cracked. Corridor was dark. Noisy as corridor conversations and patio talk floated through paper-thin walls. Grounds were littered with trash. Exterior was well lit and efforts were made to make the grounds more attractive. There, that's a positive. Towels were almost as thin as the walls. Carpet in the room was so old and dingy that we decided not ... Read more

It was an unscheduled stop, I requested the best cost, and it was reasonable, It was likewise late, the orderly let me know breakfast was till 9, I got up at 9:30 and I missed it, extremely and when I looked at, the administrator opened the wash room for me to recover some danish to go on my journVery awed that the chief left her approach to guarantee I had something to eat before getting back out and about.

After unpacking, I took my shoes off and immediately noticed the floor was quite cool. Walking around the room there were carpet patches which felt damp. It turns out most all the carpet was quite damp, w/areas which were actually squishy. Called the front desk to report it on a phone/system which was so poor an intelligible conversation was not possible. Tho, I did make out he'd be right over to check it. After 15min's I went to the office, explained the problem and requested a new room. Of co... Read more

Great service, amazing room, I honestly have to say that the bed was huge and comfortable and has to be in the top range of hotel beds I've slept in. The water pressure could've been better, but the most important part of a hotel for me is always the bed, because I'm looking for a good night rest above anything else and I definitely got it here. Also feel pretty good about the parking situation, no dark areas and didn't worry about the car being broken into at all. Overall a grade A hotel!

stayed here two evenings and in spite of the fact that the lodging room was perfect and TV worked extraordinary. free web was quick and simple to interface. Agreeable quaint little inn grounds. Staff was well disposed and breakfast was filling and refilled as important. Room was somewhat dim however I making the most of my sit tight,

I would like to say that this visit from start to finish was fabulous and it was all because of the staff and hotel they went over and beyond for us and really didn't have to the room was very clean air conditioner worked great and when you come in the office there is a basket with little baggies that say welcome furry friends and it has dog treats what a cute and sweet idea but we had a rough morning with some personal upsets to our stay and like I said before Tina and the staff here turned our... My son had a tournament in Spartanburg and I came down from Michigan to see him play. I wanted a place that was cheap but comfortable. My stay at Red Roof Inn was great . It was clean and it had a mini fridge and microwave. The price was right in my budget of what I wanted to pay as well. I would recommend staying there.

I was traveling to Myrtle Beach with my wife & two young sons so we had reserved a room a week in advance. After more than five hours on the road we were ready to relax & get a good nights sleep. It was around 10:00 pm when we arrived. As soon as we opened the door to our room a blast of hot air hit us. It had been 98 degrees that day with a heat index of 108 degrees. According to the digital thermometer on our travel clock, it was 89 degrees in our room when we walked in. We turned on the A/C o... Read more

Price was a little high for the area of the hotel but money has to be made somehow. I liked my stay, had a king size bed plus free WiFi. The walls are a little thin but nothing to really complain about. Best part, it's a non smoking hotel!! Will be booking again soon

The price is right, the rooms were decent is about all I can say. If you just need a place to stay for the night, then this will do. There is only a "grab and go" breakfast offered with coffee, pre-packaged muffins and microwave sausage biscuits. Was not impressed but since it was just an overnite stay, did not mind.

We stopped here for the night on our way home. We have stayed at other Red Roof Inns that were quite nice and since we have a small dog it is an economical place to stay. The fan on the air conditioner was so loud the tv volume was at 45 so you could hear. The carpet was so dirty that I took a shower and walked on the carpet a few times and my feet were black. I had to wash them several times. I would NEVER stay here again and I now must think about staying at any RRI in the future. Yuck!

This hotel was just fine for our needs passing through town for a one night stay. Reasonable rates and the room was comfortable. I can tell they have made some recent updates, but it would be nicer if they made a few more. I would recommend if you are looking for an affordable place to stay in the area. This hotel has wifi and has a small continental breakfast in the morning.

There are so few hotels/motels in the spartanburg area on a summer weekend that are available for a decent price last minute. I thought the room photos at the Red Roof looked like they were updated with new furniture, etc (as in, not old and yucky), so I booked. I was so pleasantly surprised that not only was the room nice and updated and very clean, but the bed was super comfortable, and the room was equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and coffee, hair dryer, nice tv. I wasn't expecti... Read more

THIS particular Red Roof Inn impressed! The room was very clean, the bed was good, everything smelled fresh, and best of all, it was affordable. I chose this hotel because it's dog-friendly, but will stay here again when traveling without a dog. I've had some bad experiences recently at other Red Roofs; however, this Red Roof Inn on Pottery Road in Spartanburg, SC delivered an excellent night's stay. It's no frills, so don't go there looking for concierge services or an omelet station at break... Read more

Great hotel -- I didn't book in advance, just drove up and got a Queen room right away. Great rate, wonderful staff, and the room was just perfect. Very clean, comfy bed, and the AC worked great. Easily one of the top hotels I've stayed at, ever, especially at that price! The only thing that I can think of that was not 100% was that the bar of soap was deformed and not sealed through some manufacturing defect, which didn't bother me since I am accepting of soaps of all shapes and sizes, but ... Stopped here for night on way down to Hilton Head. Easy check in. Glad we had made reservations. On Friday nights of vacation weeks (fall bReak for KY schools) you will need a reservation. Easy check in/out and convenient location. Room clean. Only downside was heater/air unit fan would not stay running, glad we packed our fan to make "noise" for us.

The hotel was wonderful--friendly staff, interior facing rooms on 2nd floor, looks newly redone. The thing that kept it from 5 stars was the several stink bugs in the room. And the corpses on the window sill. Dead bugs leads me to believe that house keeping had not been around since at least the last guest. But I'm not squeamish and I would stay here again. It's great price and nicer than one of its within stones throw competitors I'd stayed at before. The rooms were big and bed was comfortable

Okay room for the price. definitely worn down and used-but for the price was an okay place to lay down for nights rest. Even though the rooms enter thru the inside-they outer doors don't lock at night-little security issue there. Seems to be popular with work crews in the area. No HD TV. don't waste time on the "breakfast".

Bathroom floor and carpet was dirty. Refrigerator worked well. Microwave was dirty inside. ADA room was not ADA compliant. Wheelchair would not fit past bed and into the bathroom. Walls are thin being able to clearly hear a normal conversation in adjacent rooms.

If you are looking for a Hilton quality for $60 you are gonna be disappointed often. Stopped here for an overnight stay. Tina B. at the front desk was an absolute joy. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. He bed was comfortable and bathroom clean. I liked that the upstairs rooms had interior doors. Would stay here again.

For the price of $68, this was a greay place. Of course I wasn't expecting anything grand but it was great. The lobby is a bit tiny but that doesn't really matter. The breakfast area is tiny though (in the lobby) It only has 2 small tables. Not much for a hotel with lots of people. The breakfast itself was also very poor. A few muffins, couple tiny sausage sandwiches, cereal, some fruit and coffee. A family of 5 could easily eat everything that is out. I really liked that the rooms are spacey. ... Read more
