Comfortable beds, clean, quiet rooms and convenient to I 385 or I 85. Plenty of restaurants in the area on Woodruff Road or very easy to get downtown to dine. The price was higher this time than expected and on previous stays.

This was a very good stopover hotel for traveling from Louisville to Charleston. It was clean, convenient and the staff was friendly. And it was a short drive to downtown to our dinner restaurant, Soby's on South Main Street.

This was a nice hotel with a friendly staff. There was only a few things that I would change and that is the airconditioner is on a eco friendly so the air does not stay on in comes on and off making it hot at times and it makes for a rough night sleeping. The other thing is the fee added to the bill that is on the sign in front I am told but knew nothing about it when I checked in or out. It felt decieving even if it is being credited back. We love the Hilton/ Hampton hotels and it is the one ... Read more

Quick visit to pick up my aunt in Virginia and bring her back to Georgia. Stopped for the night at the Hampton Inn. I stay at Marriott hotels 99% of the time, but if one isn't handy, I stay at a Hampton. Didn't know Hilton had taken them over until I checked in. This was right off I 85. The hotel was very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. They have the usual, area of sodas, teas, coffee, cookies, crackers. Even soup and fruit. They also serve breakfast, but I haven't tried it. Signs placed so y... Read more

Although a small hotel, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was updated and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We were on the side away from the main highway but across from a church that was somewhat loud with their band early Sun. morning. Outside of that it was a good stay.

This hotel is really nice and decent for the money. It has a complimentary breakfast buffet with a lot of options (although smoked sausage is not my idea of breakfast sausage) the staff is nice, the rooms are big and clean, it's close to a lot of restaurants and shopping... But the air conditioners are horrible. We were there on a day it hit 99 degrees, so it was pretty warm out. The way the air conditioners work, is that you set a temperature, the air conditioner runs until (I assume) it hits ... Read more

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was above average compared to other hamptons. Many restaurants nearby. My advice is if you want to turn left out of the hotel is to use exit with the light. Traffic backs up a lot in front of this hotel.

Our soccer team was in town for the Southern Regional Championships and three of our club teams were staying at this hotel. Belinda and her staff did an outstanding job managing a wide variety of requests, helping us find space to set up team dinners and work with us over the course of the week. Work brought me back to the Greenville, SC area and I remember my last time through that the Woodruff Road area seemed to have a lot of places to stay, eat and shop so I knew I wanted to stay in that area. I thought I was getting a great deal on a room booking through at $99/night, however when the screen refreshed on the confirmation page I noticed the rate jumped to $169/night! We had intended to stay two nights at this hotel, but upon arriving the place was overwhelmed with teenagers due to a large soccer tournament and we only stayed one night. Fridge, microwave, flat screen, and plenty of charging areas for electronics in the room I stayed in. Parking was easy, but getting to the hotel from the I-385 side makes you dependent on the courtesy of approaching traffic (left turn, no traffic signal). I've never had a long wait. Stayed here for a three-day business trip that my wife had in Greenville. I love Hampton Inns - they usually do the basics very well. This one leaves a lot to be desired. For instance, the bathtub in our room was dirty, the toilet seat was broken, the shower door was broken (off its tracks), the small gym was out of water cups and towels for two days, etc. Any one of these deficiencies is not a big deal, but when compounded they show me a lack of good management.
