We chose the embassy suites in GVL because it has an indoor pool. This is the second time our trip was marred by some "locals" having some sort of pool party / community gathering on Saturday. The pool was insane, unsafe, and contaminated by 40-50 kids, and perhaps 3-4 parents. We have 3 little kids who were pushed and bullied (though they were unaware it was occuring). This is the second time we've stayed here and both saturdays it happened. The security guards at the pool (their presence ... Read more

We arrived hours before check-in time. Not a problem here. Tracy at the front desk found us a clean room in no time. We missed the complimentary breakfast and the restaurant was not due to open for another hour. Not a problem. Carolyn brought us coffee and then asked Charlene if she could scrounge up something for two very tired and hungry guests. Muffins, yogurt and bananas were delivered for us to bring to our room. Many thanks! With an indoor and outdoor pool plus a great work-out room, we we... Read more

The staff was gracious and very attentive to our needs. The front desk with Crystal and the staff was always quick to fulfill all our needs. Also Lamont Donley from the staff was very nice and assisted us around the Hotel. We hope to be back soon.

This hotel could be very nice if you fix a few things. The traditional Embassy Suites room layout (suites) and happy hour beverages are a plus. However, the fire alarm system must be fixed. The fire alarm was going off on all floors, but we could not hear it from inside our room. We only heard it in the lobby/ courtyard area. This is very scary. Also, the room never cooled properly even though we set the temp low on the thermostat and the fan to high. The A/C just couldn't keep up. If a ... Read more

I see no need to repeat myself. However, the rooms and service were great. I did not like the line at the checkout, which seemed to move too slowly, with ONLY ONE PERSON on duty at a very busy time, and I was especially annoyed by the lack of enough bell carts. Please see my previous comments on this subject.

This is a beautiful hotel. I have stayed there for a week in June for several years. It is an all suite hotel and they are all beautiful. The beds are fantastic. Their breakfast is fantastic. It is a full breakfast with an omelet station. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the prices compare to all restaurants in the area. They also have room service. There is a happy hour each evening that is complimentary. I recognize several of the employees from earlier stays.

As a Hilton Honors member along with my husband, we've always credited the Embassy Suites Golf and Conference Center as a plus for location and likely the best breakfast you can get hands down. In fact, special thanks to Ms. Hattie, the cook , who with a smile, remembered my breakfast order for the 3 days we were there. I booked three rooms for a July 3rd wedding in the Greenville area. Everyone was happy with their rooms which were very comfortable and quiet. We all enjoyed the breakfast. There was plenty of parking and nearby restaurants. The only negative was the Hilton policy of only awarding points for a maximum of two rooms. Now that I'm aware of this policy I will plan accordingly in the future and make different arrangements.

We had a great stay. My grandson made friends and loved his time with them at the pool. The food was excellent. I took the shuttle into downtown and did not have to get caught in the July 4th traffic. The tub was not as clean as I would like, but housekeeping came up after 10 pm within 10 minutes of reporting it to the front desk and cleaned it. Had some problems with internet, but nothing major. We left with a good feeling because all the staff made us feel special.

We did take the free shuttle to downtown with no problems and the hotel was a good choice for our family reunion. Noise when I wanted it but quiet when I got to my room. Great pool. I stayed here on a business trip, because I couldn't settle on any better property elsewhere. There were almost no hotels near my office location, and the hotels at the airport were a bit far away. We go to this hotel every time we are in Greenville. We are treated with excellence by staff and bartender. The social reception in the evening is very good with the length of time and snacks. There is plenty of seating area for the evening social and breakfast. The breakfast is great with plenty of variety, both hot and cold. We love the easy access to the hotel but also the golf course giving us plenty of room to not be crowded close to other hotels. The king suite is huge and the air co... Read more

We stayed here for two nights recently while on the way to Hilton Head for vacation. First of all, the staff at check in was great. We requested a corner room, but the hotel was sold out when we arrived so they couldn't accommodate that request, but they got us as close as possible. This was probably one of the quietest hotels I've stayed in...not sure why, but it sure was nice when having 3 kids that you want to sleep well. This hotel is very beautiful and I would recommend my family and friends to visit this resort. The staff is very well trained and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The front desk employees greeted us upon entering and exiting the building. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful and the chef, she was very well experienced especially when preparing the omlets, waffles, and pancakes which was done in a timely manner.

I stayed at this hotel during a family reunion. It was comfortable and the staff did everything they could to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The cook to order breakfast had ample selections and the fact that there was pool area as well as the work out room made this the ideal location for our reunion.

The Embassy Suites is a great hotel for business and personal. It is very clean and comfortable. The renovations are awesome. The staff is helpful and friendly. They go out of there way to ensure your stay is pleasant. The only suggestion would be to have the night cleaning crew wait until everyone leave the lounge to bring out the floor cleaner. It was a little loud and disruptive. I would Highly recommend the hotel

I was impressed with the quality of food served. I'm not sure if the timeframe breakfast is served, I assumed 10, but when I went down at 9:15, I was told by an employee that it was closed. We sometimes go to Atlanta but have gone to Greenville the last couple of years. The shopping is great and we always fill up our 8 passenger with lots of bags full of goodies. It's not really about the shopping but just being together as friends.
