...but the place has seen better days. HOWEVER, the room was '70s HUGE, the bed and most of the rest of the room was clean, and the TV was flat screen. The not-so-cleaned stain on the couch had me wondering, but all i had to do was not sit there. Room smelled fine. Place has some deferred maintenance issues, but not in the room, and overall seemed clean-enough and safe. Staff was good, breakfast was adequate and included. Another bonus: I went into Dillon and although I got lost on the way back,... Read more

Like most everyone else has stated, this place is a dump. The only nice thing I can say is the lady at the front desk was friendly. This place is soooooo far gone that it needs to be doused with gasoline and someone to light a match. So bad I wrote to Corporate about this franchisee. I was in room 217. The sofa was dirty and stained. a pubic hair in the bed made me wretch. Circa 1981 border paper peeling off the walls.....fridge needs defrosting....I couldn't wait to get out of there!!!!

Rather dirty. It was cold in the room. Simple enough to make it warmer in most hotels, but not here. There was an old room air-conditioning/heater unit that required 4 knobs, but the unit had only one knob. It wasn't running, so neither heat nor cold air was available. The Hotel Style & Amenities section below asked if the hotel had a pool. It did & also a shuffle board. I can't imagine ANYONE swimming in that pool. The "shuffleboard" wasn't useable, either. The property was a disgrace... Read more

don't fall for what owner is posting about improvements - saw none - felt sorry for lady at the front desk - she was too nice to be working in a place this nasty. holes in hallway walls, burnt out lights, awlful smell - room had dirty carpet, peeling wall paper borders , fade marks on wall where portrait/picture frames had been removed. was desperate to escape foul weather and no other hotels were available within 120 miles due to severe storm. Slept in clothes with my own blanket around me and... Read more

I found a discount coupon in the travel book you pick up at rest areas and I only needed a night to sleep and then be on my way. I figured it wouldn't matter what type of place it is it was just for a night of sleep. I tried to look at it as an adventure that I would laugh at later. I wasn't laughing. the front desk persons were having a conversation somehow they managed to get me checked in between tidbits of conversation. I get my room and I actually had to ask where the room was. I walk... Read more

$50 is to much for this hotel. While the staff was nice enough I would have left and gotten a refund if it was possible. The room smelled so bad like mold, my entire family felt sick the next morning. The ceiling was dirty....THE CEILING. Also while unloading our car there was a very large roach squished at the entrance to the building. Stay somewhere else.

This property, located at I95 SC Exit 193, offers clean, comfortable, convenient, and affordable lodging in a safe atmosphere with friendly, pleasant service. Additionally, the rooms come standard with a refrigerator and microwave too, which is a nice and appreciated extra amenity. I recommend Americas Best Value Inn in Dillon, SC with the highest rating and most certainly would encourage those traveling in this area to consider this hotel for your lodging needs. THANK YOU!

The room was awful! It looked like a scene from a "70's" adult film. The walls had holes with drywall patch over them. There weren't nearly enough electrical outlets. I don't want to try to describe the smell in the room. The bathroom was falling apart. If we hadn't been so tired and in desperate need to get out of the car, we would have taken the $55 dollar loss and slept in the car. The so called "Breakfast" was beyond help. There were waffles that tasted funny, donuts that were out o... Read more

We stayed at this hotel on our way to myrtle beach. We wanted to break up the 5 hr drive but didn't want to pay the $200+ they wanted to stay in myrtle beach. The room was clean and the employees were very friendly but in day light the hotel was very run down and unless you eat waffles kiss goodbye to breakfast. But like I said for a couple of hrs sleep and to not have to pay horrendous prices it was good.

We're staying at this hotel for four days with other family members attending our grandmothers funeral. Each of us had two rooms that were not cleaned by housekeeping. When speaking with front desk they seemed to dismiss the issue and said they would talk with housekeeping and they don't know what happened. I don't don't see how as they should have a list of all rooms that's occupied and checklist of all rooms cleaned. I don't know what type of establishment that the owner is running to take cus... I was here the first weekend in August in room 108. The fist thing I noticed was that it was a clean room. I then noticed there was no toilet paper or dispenser. The bathroom fixtures were old and needed replacing. The internet may or may not work. IT was close to I95 and many restaurants. I wasn't in the room for most of the day, so I tolerated the condition of the hotel. I stayed at others in the chain and those were better maintained.

I am not a picky person. This hotel was absolutely disgusting. I give it one star because zero stars is not an option. My room was gross beyond belief in every aspect. It should be shut down. Stay at your own risk. Bathroom nasty, giant gaping hole on wall where something (counter? Sink?) once stood. It smelled. Stains on bedspread. If I wasn't late and I wasn't exhausted I would have taken the financial loss and gotten the heck out of there. The sign on desk said you only have 15 minutes to go ... Read more

How is this place still in business?!?!? It is absolutely horrid! We walked in, turned the lights on - okay... For the money we said, it was fine. It was late, we were tired. And we are not picky at all. Than my husband went to go to the bathroom, as soon as he turned the lights on cockroaches - I am not talking just one, three cockroaches scattered around the sink and hid in the drains... Sink was stained and there was hair everywhere. I picked up my bags and we left! Didn't even stay the nigh... Read more

What can I say...the front desk people are lovely but the hotel is badly infested and smells awful. We checked in at 1AM after driving for 12 hours and then left immediately. We saw roaches in every stage of development. The hotel did give us our money back. DO NOT STAY HERE.

This hotel was the absolute worst place we have ever stayed in.... our family left the coast to get out of the path of Hurricane Matthew and this was the only available place for miles. The front desk employees were exceptionally helpful in all aspects. But the hotel itself was not fit to be inhabited. Dirty, smelly, bug infested and nasty. I had to give it a 1 rating to submit this review but it's really a zero!

The title says it all. Absolutely filthy disgusting. The lady at check in was pleasant, but that's it. Mold in the tub, hole in the wall, broken window AC unit no toilet paper, trash in the trash bin, wall fixtures falling off, and not to mention the risk of contracting a plethora of VDs. STAY AWAY!
