Great service and good coffee in the lobby. Everything was great including the most comfortable bed and the pillows were amazing. Loved, loved this place. Clean, comfortable room, good service. One day housekeeping came late and told us they were only providing towel service. Was not a big deal but was surprised...perhaps they were short staffed. Otherwise the staff was friendly and the front desk was great. Love the location,,,easy for business or shopping or restaurants.

The hotel was okay; however, we were very disappointed after paying for the room when we arrived at the counter we were told we had to pay an addition almost $13.00 for parking. Parking should be complimentary after paying a tremendous amount of money for a room that we were only sleeping in during the night because we were there on business and had to leave before day break in the morning. Room was exactly what you expect from the Hilton. Nice little pool area that you can hang out in pretty late. Most bars are within walking distance, but if you just can't hoof it, a $5 Uber ride. The Gamecocks working the front desk royally screwed up when charging us for our rooms. maybe a fluke, but the kid charged me almost $400 for a $160 room. The hotel is located downtown Columbia in the "vista". The rooms are great and I especially was impressed how quickly my room was cleaned daily. My only complaint is I left my little girls dress in the closet upon checkout and they said they didn't have it. It could not have disappeared in 24 hrs but hey I learned my lesson. Good location for walking to attractions and restaurants in downtown Columbia. This hotel was nice enough, but I experienced unresolved issues with the bathroom in my guest room. Parking is not included as part of the rate, even though the garage has an entrance into the hotel. Also, breakfast is not included unless you are a diamond or platinum HHonors member. Room rates seem high for a small city like Columbia, and the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse as the only in-house eatery is definitely at the high end of the scale. This hotel was a top notch stay, and what I expect when I stay at a Hilton. The hotel and room was clean, the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The beds were comfortable as well as the pillows!! The buffet breakfast at Ruth Chris was delicious. The hotel is located within walking distance to so many restaurants, etc. I would gladly stay at this hotel again, and probably will if travel takes me back to Columbia, SC

Great location if attending concert at arena/tin roof/music farm, easy walking distance. A bit overpriced. Style of decor is upscale but faux tuscan/georgian circa 2000 style, more classical/traditional than modern. Was clean and staff very friendly/helpful. For the price, should have real creamer at coffee station rather than the thimble sized pre packaged gross stuff. Not to mention that at Hyatt could get a full complimentary continental bfast included in price. Pool facilities nice but ou... Read more

Poor quality room. No internet completely one night and very slow the other. Couldn't get any work done. Found very long black hairs in the bathtub after my arrival. Very concerned over the cleanliness of the rest of the room after finding this. Air conditioner barely worked and was so loud I just had to shut it completely off to sleep.

Travel to Columbia once or twice annually and always stay at the Hilton Columbia Center located in the Vista area of Downtown. Fabulous restaurants and bars nearby but Ruth Chris is our favorite along with Motor Supply just around the corner. During this stay they had the Vista Lights night and closed couple of blocks of Gervais St. All the restaurants and bars along with shops had tables on the streets offering hd's and assorted drink specials, etc. Great fun! They expected 25, 000 folks a... Read more

The hotel was very pretty and clean but the check in staff in the lobby were not very helpful or friendly. The staff were more interested in talking and texting on their cell phones than checking us in. On the other hand, the housekeeping staff were friendly and more helpful with our questions and direction giving.

It's OK but could be a lot better. If you don't ask you will probably get stuck in a room overlooking the parking garage, which is not a nice view. We asked for a late check-out (+1 hr) and they said no, which tells you something about this place. Had a bad experience at the breakfast buffet, I'd recommend heading out into the Vista area to find something at one of the many nearby restaurants.

Hotel stay was great! Booked Jr Suitemail. Co workers and I enjoyed the hotel, the resturant inside, parking was great as well. Hotel is located near resturants, bars, shops all in walking distance. Will recommend anyone to stay at the Hilton prices are responsible, breakfast at resturant within hotel which was amazing, and staff is great too! Will returned.

The hotel was ight by the capital and by the convention center. Easy walking distance to the vista restaurants and coffee shops. Ruth Chris steakhouse located in building. Capital building literally steps away.

This place would definitely be a five star but.... I stayed here for 3 nights on the 6th floor facing the front of the building. All night, every night there was something that sounded like someone using a leaf blower ... ALL NIGHT! I have no other complaints other than this noise. Staff was very pleasant and the rooms are nice and clean.
