neighborhood looked a little "iffy" but the hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ordinary but the breakfast room attendant went out of her way to find me a cinnamon raisin bagel because I was tired of the typical eggs and sausage. The breakfast room was pretty crowded. There were several restaurants close by. Parking is free. We did not swim but the pool looked inviting.

I have found this hotel always in great shape, and prepared to serve their customers. This is the perfect hotel if you have business at Ft. Jackson. It's close to the gate, and they have a military rate for TDY purposes.

2 days after my stay I check my bank account and they took an additional 25.00 out that was never mentioned to me. I called and complained they said it was for incidentals but I never made a phone call or ordered movies. Just wondering how many people didn't notice this bogus fee. Still waiting for my 25.00 fee back. Not happy!

I was on second floor and it was not noisy although I can hear the doors closing by other rooms around. Also the beds and pillows are little old, my back started paining by morning. Breakfast place sitting is large enough but the place where they serve is very small, not large enough to fit more then 5-6 people at a time and it was very full since I visited in long weekend.

The Hampton was clean, comfortable and quiet during our stay. I would be happy to stay here again. While breakfast was busy, the staff kept up nicely. The coffee was good too! Breakfast was awful. No fruit or pastry. Staff was sympathetic, but claimed they could not do anything until the truck arrived with the necessary supplies. Clearly an example of a poorly managed hotel.
