The staff is great, but the beds and pillows are incredible. I stayed here for two nights and slept like a baby. Climate control perfect. TV perfect. If I were coming back to Columbia and my work location was across town, I think I would choose to stay here and just drive. The rest was that great.

For a quick get-a-way, this filled the bill for us. A bit pricey, but clean, née spotless with pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful (if you are in too that sort of thing) and again the breakfast room was clean and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. The only real complaint is that the A/C system was seemingly turned off in the room by the time we came back from breakfast. Trying to get us to leave? I stayed in a suite with the view of the lake and the room had a Jacuzzi and glass walk-in shower. The room was very modern and nice looking. This hotel was very nice, and the bed slept great. Breakfast was good, and there was a good selection. My only complaint (which kept it at 4 circles instead of 5) is that there was no safe in the room. They had one behind the desk in the lobby, but I was on a business trip, and I needed to store my pistol safely when I went to eat supper. Obviously I could not put it at the desk. It has been a couple of years since our last stay here, so second opinion seems in order. We stayed on the fifth floor, the only floor where my wife can avoid pet hair, to which she has a negative reaction. The room was very clean, as we expect at a Hampton Inn.
