My stay was adequate. Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. I would come back. The only thing was I had requested a crib and it was not in the room nor did anyone set it up for me. Also the front desk did not ask if I was a member of AARP which would have given me a discount. I had to ask myself.

Great breakfast awesome greeters and a good room. I recommend this hotel. Kid friendly. The staff was wonderful and kind. It is convenient to the interstate and located near restaurant and shopping. Just a quick drive to downtown area. Clean fitness facility and a nice pool. We will definitely be back.

I travel frequently and I am a tough critic....this is a very clean and friendly place to stay. Breakfast was good too. We will come again! We enjoyed the local businesses in the area and appreciated the convenient access to the expressway. I highly recommend.

Very Good Location, Very Close to Fort Jackson Base, close to Shopping centers and Restaurants. I enjoyed my stay. This hotel is a place where I will come back and stay at. You won't regret it. Waffle house is right around the comer if you would like as full breakfast.

I was staying in the hotel for one night while I was in town for a wedding, and greatly enjoyed my stay. My room was bigger than I expected and had a large mini fridge, microwave, couch, desk, and king side bed. The bathroom was immaculate and had a large shower that makes me loathe mine at home by comparison. Breakfast was great in the morning, and checking out was a breeze. If I am in the area again I will be a guest at this hotel again for sure.

I came to Columbia for a Bar Mitzvah and stayed near the family. Used to stay at Holiday Inn Select which is right next door. Holiday inn select is old, tired and not so good anymore. Family members were not happy with the offerings for breakfast there. I chose Hampton for a change and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I drove in to the moment I left I was cared for as if I really mattered. What a warm welcome, lovely room with all of the nice amenities, such attention to detail was this ... This is a great place. Its close to the highway and food and shopping and gas. The pool and excise room are good. The breakfast are ok You'd get a better one at Waffle House which is in walking distance. The internet sucks. Even if you pay for the premium it still sucks. Otherwise this is a great place to stay.

Disappointed with staff, package was overnighted to hotel for me, checked each day, after I departed I discovered it was received the 1st day. Requested them to reship it to me. They declined and took it to the store chain I purchased it from.

Enjoyed the stay, friendliness of the staff, the quality of the pool. Breakfast had many choices. We would stay there again. Traveled with my daughter and her family and we all had good experiences. We liked how readily the staff offered suggestions of restaurants, and gave us a list of places to visit. On our return visit Jennifer immediately greeted us and mad us feel special.

The location just off I-20 is very convenient and there are a number of good restaurants close by. The hotel is nicely decorated and very well maintained. The flowers at the entrance were beautiful with the water feature. I would definitely recommend for business of pleasure if you are in the area.

The hotel clerks were kind, professional and efficient. Housekeeping does a great job with the cleanliness of the rooms. Since I have to travel to work, all the necessary amenities I would need are in the room, like a refrigerator, coffee maker, iron/iron board, desk even something as small as makeup remover wipes and shower caps. These guys think of everything.

I have been traveling South with my--now 95 yr.old--mother every summer for years. We discovered this Hampton Inn a few years ago--wish we had found it sooner-- The rooms are lovely, neat and clean. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. As two women traveling we feel safe and secure. And--we always enjoy their breakfast in the morning before we head out.

A little disappointed with this Hampton as compared to others we have visited. The room felt dated and both of us noticed hair in the tub. I believe it was clean but certainly attention to detail is questionable. We were on the front of the building so did hear road noise in the morning especially after traffic picked up. The AC unit put out cold air at 69 but at 70 it was heat so had to leave temp at 69.

Great location, very close to Fort Jackson. "If you are going to BMT Graduation I recommend staying here!" Awesome complimentary breakfast, comfortable room and easy check in. (Hands down better than the Down town Atlanta Hampton near Georgia Tech)

I have to stay in the region frequently. Most of the time I pick up this hotel for the standard of the room vs price. Most important for me is the quality of the staff. They are welcoming you with a lot of care and try to find solution if you raise question.

All front desk staff were brilliant, friendly and really helpful with suggestions on places to eat and things to do in Columbia. We were allowed to use the front desk phone when we had a problem with our rental car, which was a massive help. We made use of the pool for an hour or so, with towels provided from the gym. Best feature, which we also used, was the self service laundry, it was quick and cheap; wish more hotels had them. Theres a complimentary breakfast area, which was surprisingly g... Read more

I had an excellent stay. The property is in good condition, is well maintained, and clean. The front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staffs were all polite, pleasant, personable, and professional. It's a great location, especially if you have the need to be in the eastern part of Columbia, or Kershaw or Lee Counties. Retail (food and shopping) is relatively nearby if needed.

Service and accommodations were excellent and competitive for cost. I particularly appreciate the complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately, service ends at 10:00 a.m. I would have liked an hour longer, so that I wouldn't have to rise earlier.

Not to far from Columbia and right off of I-20, this hotel is convenient to many places without being downtown. Rooms are clean. Service is good. Breakfast is below Hampton average and keeps this place from getting a top score.

Nothing amazing and front office was near to rude. I stayed in better Hampton Inns before. Bed was comfy, Breakfast was ok, gym small. Ok stay. We went for a soccer tournament so needed to be close t the fields and this location was good. There is a cvs really close and a couple of restaurants.

Our stay happened during hurricane Matthew. The hotel lost power during the storm, but the staff remained calm and did a great job. We were kept well informed and staff handed out free sodas. Very new and clean hotel.

After driving for 8 hours, I received a rude welcome at check-in, basically just the staff person handing me the key card. No eye contact, no words of welcome, no directions to the elevator, no information on breakfast, etc. - you know, the usual stuff a traveler expects. It wasn't busy - there was no one else in the lobby. The room was a little sad, with stains on the carpet, sofa, and chair. I reported the stains when I checked out, but I didn't see the staff person write anything down. I stay... Read more

This is a lovely hotel with good service. However, we stayed there, because we were escaping Hurricane Matthew. It came to our attention that because of a college football game prices had been raised from $125 to $175 a night. While that is bad enough, both of our families rooms cost the $175 even though we were not there for football but because of a mandatory evacuation.
