We wanted a quick getaway to Isle of Palms and found a decent rate at this hotel. The ratings on some sites weren't great but we decided to try it. The lobby area was clean and bright and our room appeared to have been redecorated recently. The bed was super comfortable as were the side chairs. Our room has a mini-fridge, microwave and small coffee maker. I give it high marks for cleanliness, there wasn't any dusty corners or stuff under the dresser. I would recommend they update the bathrooms a... Read more

We stayed four nights at the Comfort Suites Isle of Palms Connector in May 2016. The outside of the hotel is quite pretty and looks better than most Comfort Inns. Front desk service was friendly and we liked the location because it was 10 minutes from the beaches and restaurants on the island and about 20 minutes to downtown Charleston. We paid for the upgraded king bed with balcony but the balcony was extremely small, looked out on a parking lot, and had no furniture so it was essentially us... Read more

We flew into Charleston for a weekend wedding May 20,21. I had 4 rooms on my reservations along with a rehearsal dinner pool side that was rained out. Angel the Guest Service Manager moved us into the breakfast area and allowed us to use that space. We were able to get into the rooms early because of the speed of house keeping. everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until checkout. Angel represented Comfort Suites very professionally, her attitude and smile made the entire weekend a ... Read more

We stayed 3 nights when we visited the Charleston NC area. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas were clean and the lady cooking breakfast was a hoot. Would definitely stay here again. The location is near several interesting tours: Boone Hall Plantation, Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, ferry to Fort Sumter.

This is a newly renovated hotel. Restaurants within walking distance, shopping near by and great rates- most other hotels in the area are much more expensive. I've stayed here for business several times and the staff is so friendly. Very clean and a quick drive to downtown Charleston.

Location perfect for shopping, dining, the beach, our family. Staff very friendly and helpful; we were greeted by all with a smile. Comfortable beds, good variety of selections for breakfast, snacks & coffee available 24 hours. Only minor complaints-occasional voices & stomping could be heard from room above, scrambled eggs too salty. All in all a very pleasant experience.

This Comfort Inn at the Isle of Palms Connector is a little bit hard to find. Using our GPS in our automobile, we drove right by it the first time and had to go around the block. When you are coming up Highway 17, just before the intersection, look to the right for the Liquid Car Wash. This is where you turn in. The hotel sits back a little bit on the right behind the car wash. Their breakfast was very good and the attendant takes very good care of the breakfast room. She was constantly cleaning... Read more

This was a very enjoyable trip for us and the location of Comfort Inn relative to everything was perfect. On the connector you are 15 minutes away from Isle of Palms and 20 from Charleston, so it's a great middle of the road stay. We enjoyed the pool and our room was clean everyday. The staff was extremely helpful with tips on where to eat and sights to see. There are multiple restaurants nearby, and we recommend Kings Street Grill across from the hotel. We booked early out so the price was V... Read more

This is a great location ,close to the beach and to downtown Charleston. We drove right by it on our way in due to our GPS.The lady in the snack bar had a great breakfast every morning but the only thing I could complain about is that there was not as large variety of this to eat as in some of the Comfort Suites.

Our newlywed selves LOVED our time at this hotel! It is close to EVERYthing (Literally there is an amazing restaurant right outside the door), IOP is just a few minutes away, and it only took us about 10 mins to get into downtown! [Beware traffic heading back to the hotel around 5pm] We stayed in a king suite and it was spacious enough to include a faux-seating area with a desk/sofa. The room had very updated features (I.e. Flat screen, new linens, nice microwave/fridge), and it was CLEAN. Even... Read more

The hotel was close to beaches, Patriots Point, Charleston and the Boone Plantation. We visited all of these places by driving between 10-25 minutes. Hotel bathroom needed some TLC, but the room itself was decent. Breakfast was yummy, but it was really sparce towards the end of breakfast. Get there early is my advice. Hotel was quiet on the third floor. Across the street is The Kings Grill restaurant, within walking distance. It was yummy and affordable. Overall, good experience. I paid more ... Read more

This hotel is located in a great location. It's fast and easy to get to downtown Charleston, Isle or Palms or Sullivan's Island. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good with a large variety and it changed slightly every day (bacon one day; sausage the next). The staff was friendly and courteous. Don't bother with a balcony room as there is no view of anything.

I have stayed at the comfort suites twice this summer. It is a very nice and very clean hotel with a great breakfast, the only downfall is their terrible pillows, both times I stayed there my pillows were awful, and of course without a nice pillow you don't sleep as well. Other than that, I recommend this facility to everyone visiting the area.

We had a very nice stay. We had booked the wrong day for our reservation. However, the staff were kind and called us after another reservation cancelled. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. We took a Lyft into Charleston for a wedding that cost about $28. The breakfast in the morning is free. Nothing fancy, but does the trick. The pool is nice and very clean. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

My husband booked her for a last minute trip to Isle of Palms. We weren't able to find a place on the beach within our price range but this location was perfect. About 5 minutes from the beach. Rooms were clean for the most part. Breakfast is your typical hotel breakfast. Different options each morning. Downsides: our room was right by an exit which other guests didnt respect. We could've moved but thats a little hard after you unpack. And was told that I'd have to come to the front desk fo... Read more

This is a nice moderate hotel for our quick visit to the area. Conveniently located just a hop from the beach at Isle of Palms and for visiting historic downtown area as well. We came in really late and the desk attendant checked us in cheerfully even at 2 a.m. I liked the interior corridors and the parking area seemed safe and secluded. "Behind the car wash" on corner of 2 major thoroughfares I was concerned, but it turned out to be much more secluded than other similar hotels. Breakfast was s... Read more

I enjoy a long stay at this hotel. The price is pretty good! The hotel is located in a nice shopping area. The looby is modern. The hotel room also modern had a sofa bed with 2 beds, micro and small fridge. The room a bit dark for my taste. I have to say while staying at hotel it was always full but they do keep it very clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast good for morning start and my-kids (son, nice and nephew) just loved it! This will be a very fair and factual review: Check in and greeting was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel location is fantastic. Right near the IOP connector and very close to shopping and dining. The room is pretty big and it goes downhill from here. The room cleanliness was not even close to being up to par. Old nasty rice left on the carpet near the microwave (not just a few grains). The bathroom was pretty bad. Facial hair around the sink, someone had picked their nose and... Read more

We were so happy with our three nights at this Comfort Suites last weekend, missing the hurricane weekend. We had a third floor room near the back of the building, and was quiet and peaceful, and plenty clean. Our king sized bed was so comfortable, and there was a pullout sofa for our third friend, posting pic. The fridge was perfect, and there is a microwave. The shower had great warmed water, and there were plenty of good terry towels, and nice smelling soap. Good rolling work chair, to use l... Read more

Coffee and tea is 24 hrs in lobby. Staff was very friendly especially Priscilla who helped map out all the attractions and tours we wanted to see. We have stayed at Comfort Suites for our business travels. We were pleasantly surprised to see a towel rack in the bath room. Most have done away with towel racks and I find it gross to have all your wet towels on the counter. So thank you for having them. Just a little thing but important to frequent travelers. Nice space, room was clean, breakfast had a wide assortment of foods.

Most reasonable rate for a good quality hotel. No complaints here. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Comfy bed, clean rooms, and hot shower. What more can one ask for? Stay here you won't be disappointed.

Staff & accommodations were professional & clean. Bedding was like-new in our room so no complaints there including a well-appointed bathroom. Included full breakfast didn't disappoint along with the typical "beach time" atmosphere. Overall, ease of access both to other island tourism options as well as Charleston just across the bridge make this property an economical keeper.

This is only 10 minutes away from Charleston Historic District on the other side of Cooper River in Mount Pleasant. The best part of the hotel has to be the big hotel rooms and amazing breakfast. For the early-leavers, there was a Grab n Go option as well. The room was airy, there is a sports bar just beside the hotel premises if anyone wants to unwind at the end of the day. The price was also justified, and i would definitely return to this hotel if we visit again.

There were dead bugs in the ceiling light. The Mount Pleasant Magazine had was in the in room folder pieces of something stick to the back of it. Very stiff toilet paper and tissues. Found an empty pillowcase when we turned down the bed covers. No auto, just on or off on the A/C heat system.. There was a cracked pvc pipe cover that was cracked on the under the sink drain pipe.
