My husband and I just returned from a fabulous stay at Planters Inn. Arrangements had been made with wonderful Amanda Bentley, the concierge for restaurants, and sightseeing. Our room was wonderful and the added extras that the Inn provides makes this Inn a keeper when we return to Charleston. Champagne was sent up for our anniversary. Tiny cookies were left for the evening in our room. In the morning our newspaper was hung in a GOOD MORNING bag on our doorknob. Everyone knew our name and ... Read more

First time to Planters Inn and you could not ask for a Better Location , Great Hotel , and Staff , I know if i am back in Charleston it will be at Planters Inn , I had a room with a nice porch . Easy ride to Charleston and with the Peninsula Grill in house i would suggest that on first night , I would do advance reservation also for Dinner

Excellent service and accommodations. I would recommend the Planters Inn and when we go back to Charleston will stay there again. Great hotel for couples and romantic getaways. The staff was eager to please and was very courteous.

Well above average. Charleston is a lovely city. Restaurants are over rated but the city itself is a gem. Trees, old homes and shops, and warm friendly people. Sophisticated. I would consider living there at some point. The politics scare me of course.

This is a great place and it was a great weekend. Lots to see and do. It was great being in Charleston for Thanksgiving. We will have more sightseeing to do next time. We'll see you again in November 2017.
