This is one of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed in; very much enjoyed our 4-night stay. Appears to be a new hotel. Linens were clean and fresh (not always the case, not even at a Hampton). Beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows! Breakfast was the "typical" Hampton breakfast. "Ed" checked us in. He was very friendly, professional, and gave us some helpful information to orient us (that we didn't even ask for). Impeccable customer service. We requested a quiet room, which he graci... Convenient to anything you want to do on the island. They have a shuttle, didn't use it but could see where it could be handy. Friendly check in. Room clean, looks like they are updating. Only complaint would be satellite for TV was in and out. No worries, would return.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness, comfort, and convenience of the Hampton Inn on Daniel Island. Breakfast was included with out room stay and it offered quite a variety of breakfast items each morning. The best thing about our stay was the SUPER comfortable bed. It was like sleeping on a cloud.

I have been coming to this Hampton Inn for years and it is not only consistent but consistently improving to meet higher demands. Hampton Inn has always been clean. I stopped at the desk and requested service after 1:00 PM and when I returned late in the evenings the room was never serviced. They just renovated their rooms which would presumably make staying here more pleasant. However they have not kept up with the room repairs . Attention to details are what separate something from being good verses great. After several stays at this location, we have consistently noticed over flowing trash cans, dirty carpets and trash in the parking lot and around the property. Not a very comforting site or place you sing praises about. The use of a "barn style" bathroom door may be stylish but not very practical or private when staying with other people in the room.

Hampton Hotels are always the best. this one on Daniel Island was really great because there was a restaurant close by and the hotel gave us complimentary glass of wine with our meal.the food was good, but the proximity of the hotel to the restaurant was even better! we were so tired and all we had to do was walk a very short distance to the white table cloth restaurant and that made our meal and wine even better than we anticipated!!! will stay again if in the area!

I normally opt for a higher-end Hilton brand hotel when I travel, but needed to stay on the island for a wedding. This one did not disappoint but in fact, quite exceeded my expectations. This is easily the cleanest, most updated Hampton I've been to. The staff is remarkably friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious, clean, and (as all positive TA reviews read) well appointed. We have stayed at this property 3 or 4 times and had previously been very satisfied. On arrival our room had a strange odor, there were crumbs on a side table, and hair on the wall in the bathroom. Continental breakfast? Didn't really get to eat it because the staff did a poor job of restocking food items. The one day we waited for food, the trash was nearly climbing up the wall from all 3 garbage cans.

There were a couple of things I had to ask about that were not explained during check in, such as an extra hold amount charged. Everything about this Hampton is perfect. Friendly staff, new clean rooms. We stayed here while hanging out at the beach on Sullivans island, and paid half of what the hotels over there were going for, but only had a 10 min drive. Great restaurant next door too. There are plenty of other options for eating that are close by, but can't comment on their quality.

I booked & paid for one night a month in advance through company discount, but it was $30 less when I checked in (slight cliche hotel charged us but reversed the charges). Room was clean, plenty of towels, beds very comfortable, w/cozy thick comforter, little fridge & big tv. The desk chair was a 70's thick yellow fabric covered chair on wheels, comfortable but little low to sit at desk. No microwave unless you to pay $10 per day. Love the cute little island feel, many places to eat and Harris ... Read more

Convenient to Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. Good value in a high cost travel destination. A car is a most but highway access is pretty good. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful. Good place to stay.

Hampton Inn on Daniel Island,S.C. Has A plus staff. I recommend staying there. The Island is centrally located, so you can visit many interesting places. I stay on the Island for activities like bike riding,

Really enjoy Daniel Island and the convenience to Mt Pleasant and Charleston. It is a less crowded option to stay on Daniel Island, South Carolina and still be accessible to the beaches, the boutiques nearby and Charleston.

There are only a few things that I had a problem with: beds too tall, and toilet seats too low. But I don't know if you can really count it as a problem, unless one is disabled. Overall, my family was quite pleased with our stay and the services we received at the hotel.

The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. Pretty decor in lobby. Breakfast was good & staff was friendly. Looks to be a growing area. Overall, it was a nice stay. A little pricey but we would stay here again.

We had a serious problem and had to cancel our reservation several hours past the cancel deadline. The manager, Matt Holley, listened to everything I had to say about why I had to cancel late. The man is a gentleman, and understood, not charging us for our stay. Way to go, Matt. thanks for being a professional and a gentleman.

We only stayed one night, but the staff treated us like we were penthouse suite regulars. It was so relaxing to know that EVERYTHING had been accounted for by the staff. The room was clean; the entire hotel's decor appeared to be straight out of Architectural Digest; and, the breakfast was hot and fresh and plentiful!

I travel frequently which also includes visits out of the country and received the best service at this hotel. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel like I was home. The quality of the rooms was immaculate along with being spacious. I felt safe and secure as there was security on the premises.

The staff is what makes this hotel what it is. They are very kind and go out of their way to accommodate guests. The location is great and not noisy and is near all the attractions. I stay at a lot of Starwood brands and am happy to see that this Hampton Inn directly competes with the Starwood brand. I would recommend those visiting Charleston to consider staying here, as they have the mindset of a 4 start hotel when they are a 3 star. Thanks again to everyone!

I have stayed at this hotel the last three years over Thanksgiving while visiting my parents on Daniel Island. It is convenient, clean and has good high speed Internet. Breakfast is good and creative. It also offers a free glass of wine at the adjacent restaurant.

Very nice hotel. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good We stayed three days and there was something new each day on the breakfast buffet which was refreshing to see. The bed was very comfortable and didn't hear any outside noises which was great for sleeping.
