I have stayed at the French Quarter Inn many times over the last several years and they NEVER disappoint. While everyone there is wonderful, Kenyatta in particular is awesome. You know someone takes great care of you when you remember them year after year. She goes out of her way to chat with you and help you with whatever you need or advise you what to do, where to eat, etc. Always smiling and helpful. Breakfast and wine hour are great, and the coffee waiting outside your door when you wake is... Read more

We made our first visit to Charleston as part of our 30th wedding anniversary and chose to stay at the French Quarter Inn based on other reviews. We could not have been more delighted. We could not think of another place in all our travels during that time that paid attention to every detail, anticipated their guests needs so well, and executed so flawlessly. It made for a wonderful visit and we'd like to extend our thanks to the entire staff for the terrific service.

From the moment you enter their lobby you are greeted and welcomed with champagne. The rooms are impeccable and you can't beat the location in the heart of old Charleston. The most important feature is the way each staff member bends over backwards to make sure your stay is first rate and memorable. Thank you to the entire staff at the French Quarter Inn for your hospitality and making our stay so incredible!

Great boutique hotel with charming and polite staff. Breakfast was excellent along with the wine and cheese at 5:30. Port was a nice touch in the evening. Josiah and Chuck were a couple of folks who were extremely helpful and pleasant. A personal touch from each as we entered the hotel each time.

This was a last minute trip to Charleston on the way back to Augusta from Hilton Head. We had a couple hotel options in mind but didn't want to reserve anything until we arrived and had time to check out the location of each hotel property. We chose the French Quarter Inn b/c of location and the fact that we wanted a balcony room. Sam at the front desk was very helpful and verified they had one remaining room with balcony access and even took time to verify the view we would have from the roo... Read more

Kenyetta at the French Quarter Inn made our mother-daughters' trip unforgettable! She helped with everything we planned! The hotel is absolutely wonderful, from the champagne upon arrival, the delicious morning breakfasts, coffee on each floor, bikes to ride, to the chocolates and chocolate chip cookies at night! Can't even imagine a better hotel. Pampered in luxury from the moment of our arrival. This one sets a whole new standard for us. Spacious rooms, appetizers, cookies and milk at night. Spectacular breakfast with fine charcuterie and Greek yogurts. Simply heavenly. Wasn't planning on coming to Charleston, so glad we took a detour off the beaten path. This is an amazing city of great historical relevance. Perfect area of town to explore in mini sessions then get out of the heat to relax. Loved it!

Such a great town and our hotel was perfectly located near shops and restaurants. Didn't think much about it as I was there for business, but now I wish I had stayed longer as it was such a cool place and there was so much energy from the locals. Such a beautiful scenery as well.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff, they were absolutely fabulous, from valet parking to front desk to housekeeping - nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed at the Belmond which was gorgeous and centrally located to everything. Great restaurants, Starbucks and shopping. There was an attached mall which was nice to stroll through.
