Today when my husband and I arrived at the hotel to check in, I discovered that I had booked online reservations at a Doubletree Hotel by the airport that was not this location. I was distraught because it is Memorial Day weekend and every hotel is booked to full capacity. Immediately, Karly suggested that I call the other Doubletree location and ask them to cancel that reservation so that I could book a stay at this location. Karly even gave me the phone number to the other location so the pro... Read more

This is a great property. It is conveniently located with great amenities, including a pool with a very well appointed outdoor lounging area, a full bar and a great fitness center. However, my family and I experienced some issues with our stay. Housekeeping was not up to par - they just replaced towels (only body towels, not hand towels or washcloths) and did not do much else. During our three night stay, the trash was maybe emptied twice. Climate control was also an issue. The room is a very sp... Read more

Great location and price for a very nice Double Tree approximately 20 minutes from downtown. The rooms were recently remodeled. Very modern but warm and comfortable. Really liked the walk in shower. Only negative is the air conditioner was too loud. It is not a typical window unit, but the blower noise was very noisy for a hotel this nice. It is a shame it was not addressed during the remodel.

Dina Watson was amazing! She had all the best recommendations for bar and eats! Fast friendly service! And Kayla Morton helped fit us in on short notice. I've stayed at this hotel many times for work and pleasure. Many of my colleagues use this hotel as well. My absolute favorite place to stay in the area. My only disappointment is the limited range of the shuttle service. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel.

Room was booked on the honors floor and I felt like royalty going there lol. I was surprise at the size of the room and how everything was. Hotel is easily accessible to highways and malls. About a 15 minute drive to get to downtown Charleston. The breakfast had your average offerings; eggs, sausage, cereal, grits, fruit, muffins, etc. It was a good offering for having kids and not wanting to leave to go eat and wait somewhere. The hotel is right off of hwy 26 and the interior was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Great value for the money and easy access to airport and downtown Charleston. The breakfast is extra and I would skip it. The coffee is excellent and complimentary.

The performance of the staff is what made this hotel experience stand out. Every request we made was attended to promptly, and the staff and management made several suggestions that made our stay much more pleasant. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Poor service, No power, No TV, No internet. Staff said they had back up generators, they did not. Food was actually very good, but bar and restaurant were "overwhelmed" with 20 people and clearly very agitated. Waited over 30 minutes for a cocktail & over an hour for tacos. I do think the hotel is otherwise pleasant, but does not change the fact that the staff and service was horrific. Particularly the Front Desk Manager.

I'm a frequent traveler and Doubletree is one of my favorites. Charleston is one of my favorite cities. The breakfast is awesome. Had a night cap at the bar with Megan who was delightful, and the bourbon selection was great!

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. Although the staff is very polite and professional the service, food, and readiness of the room has a lot to be desired. I would never order food from this hotel. While waiting at the bar for a to go burger that I threw most away, the guy beside me waited over 45-minutes for a personal pizza that never showed up. Room amenities were poor or missing. I will never use this hotel in the future and will be very leary of this chain

We chose this hotel based on its proximity to the airport, staying only one night. When we were ready to take he courtesy van to the airport, we learned it had left without us. Rather than making us wait and disrupting our travel plans, the hotel manager apologized and had his sales manager drive us to the airport. Both exhibited a high degree of customer service in a difficult situation.

I believed I was racially profiled by "Emily" upon checking in. For business travel I use Hilton, my Corp Card is in file. Upon checking in I was advised I must present a card regardless.. I explained I never had to do it before as my card was in file.. Nevertheless I gave a card... After going to my room, I returned immediately to "Emily" as the housekeeper was still in the room and told me it would be another 15-20 min. Upon revisiting the desk I was behind another customer whom was check... Read more

No refrigerator, no microwave, no privacy in bathroom w/sliding glass door! The bathroom door still boggles my mind. I found no coffee in the lobby, I am guessing you had to buy it from the in hotel restaurant. With all the construction, parking was tight. The back doors did not work, you had to walk around to the front with all your luggage.

We held our military reunion at this venue. Since we are Korean War veterans several members are disabled. The hotel staff and management could have not been more helpful and pleasant. The recently totally renovated hotel provided first class rooms and facilities including an outside pool with a flaming fireplace. There is a free shuttle that provides service to all to any location within six miles as well as service to and from the airport. Special thanks to management team Shaun Reid and Cam... Read more

Nice hotel, enjoyed the stay. Dina, the world's best bartender, was pleasant with the convo and quick with the drinks. Watched the World Series from the bar, food looked great (though I didn't order, already had dinner). Good selection of drinks. Comfortable rooms. I'd stay again.

This hotel is right off Interstate 26 in North Charleston, SC, which makes trips to and from downtown Charleston a breeze. The hotel is very clean and well maintained by very efficient staff. Amenities are sufficient for most needs and it seems to be a very popular facility for the business oriented. Breakfast is not complimentary and the spread is very limited. I would assume since the clientele is mostly business people most of their meals are eaten outside. I did not find any negatives during... Read more

This hotel has amazing staff members from DJ at check in, Brandon the kitchen manager, Dina the bartender and our server at the restaurant. The beds are comfortable and rooms are really nice. The hotel is very accommodating to children and the restaurant there goes above and beyond. The food was pretty good too. We will definitely choose here again if we come back!!

The hotel has a lot of updates, looks nice at first. The room has gray walls and dark furniture. Turned on every light in the room and it was too dark. Plugged my phone into the wall panel by the bed, when I unplugged it the wall panel wasn't even attached, thunk thunk. A/c was cold and very loud. The shower was a nightmare. Have you tried to walk on wet tile? Yes it's dangerously slippery? Big square shower with two tiny soap dishes that won't even hold the shampoo and conditioner provided. No s... Read more

Arrival check in was a pleasant and fast experience, the beds are very comfortable, rooms are a nice size and the look and fell is elegant. The breakfast was okay, I don't know if it was due to the number of people we had at the conference but the hot foods seem to run out and they were slow to refill and refresh. The conference rooms were nice and spacious. The customer service was good and the staff seemed friendly.

I was delayed overnight and bought food for my long flight. The rooms were great. However you don't have a refrigerator in your room. I asked the front desk to put my food in a refrigerator and when I got my food back the next day it felt like it sat out all night and I had to throw $25 worth of food away. Desk person looked at me like it was my fault and had no idea on how to fix this issue or didn't offer to make it right. As a Hilton awards member this is the first time that I have had a prob... The hotel is newer and very modern and pretty. It's hard to find though as signage is poor and it's behind other buildings. The lobby area is bright, clean, modern, and comfortable. The room we had was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was extremely nice as well. Food service in the lobby restaurant for dinner was slow and a bit sloppy. The food was average at best. Front desk staff and shuttle drivers were very nice, courteous and outgoing.

My family came for a wedding at Charles Towne Founders Hall and stayed here. From the moment we pulled up it was beautiful. The palm trees in front of the hotel are a beauty. The inside is new. They give you fresh warm walnut chocolate chip cookies at check in. The rooms are clean and updated. I would stay here again.

Loved the design layouts. Breakfast was delicious and amazing staff. Helped by Hannah first and then met Danielle. Wonderful ladies who can actually hold a conversation, pleased with the food and the service. They were very quick and I never had to hesitate. We stayed here two nights for a meeting. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean. Would stay here again without a complaint in the world. Close to the airport. There was nice places to shop nearby. My only issue is if you want to be near downtown Charleston, I would find a place closer.

This DoubleTree Hotel is one of my favourites. The staff is warm and welcoming and the rooms are always super clean. I enjoy their buffet breakfast for it's variety and often position myself at a table that overlooks their outdoor space with it's palm trees. It's also close to restaurants for those that might want to walk nearby to grab a bite. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is my first time here and my jaw dropped when entering the room. We asked for an upgrade, only $8.00 extra per night, and we received. The room is beautiful and there is a on site bar with a great bartender. Dina makes the best drinks and she is so friendly! I would come here again, just to see her.

Had an early flight out Monday & stayed Sunday night. Very comfortable rooms - Great bed! Nice bar & lobby - very comfortable rooms with free shuttle to the airport & friendly staff. Be careful with your navigation - I was on I 26 waiting for instructions to tell me to exit & I hear voice saying "your at your destination" but it was on the other side of the interstate. Had to get off, circle around & find it set back quite a way from the road. With the find though!
