Cracks all over, dusty. The fact you have to pay for parking and no breakfast made me give it two stars.

This hotel is right in the middle of the historic district. Clean room with a comfortable king bed. Some remodeling was going on but the noise was not a problem. Within waling distance to eveything. We would definitely stay there again.

It suited our needs. We were traveling with our dog so we're limited on where we could stay. This was a good choice. Room was clean, restaurant on site, located in the center of the historic district walking distance to most areas.

They are undergoing renovation, and the room furniture did look better, more modern and next year when I go some of the issues (Blocked parking spaces ; noise from working on nearby rooms) should be over but - TV remote didn't change channels -- had to go up one by one (understood this is a problem affecting all rooms -- due to changeover in cable provider....but it was a pain) - the shower head was new, but the tub still didn't drain - they're now charging for parking --- used to be free - ... We stayed two nights at this hotel in late December. The property has a fantastic location in the heart of Historic Charleston. The property is of the old motel design with the room doors opening directly to the outside with parking in front. The room had updated decor and was clean, quiet and comfortable. It is a real value. There is a restaurant at the site but we found a great coffee bar around the corner to have breakfast. All in all a very good value.

Lots of construction. Began at 8 am on Sunday morning. Window rooms were taped up with plastic sheeting. Very outdated. Shower didn't work Properly. First room we were given, key would not open door. $14 to park. Location is great though. Just needed a room to sleep in & this was the cheapest. Checked into a 5 star hotel the next day. Company paid for that one!

Great location and good quality for price! Located about half a block from City Market and close to all the restaurants in the main part of town. Hotel has on-site parking which was a plus. But there is a surcharge for parking (~$8/day) that was not clearly stated on third party booking sites (i.e., etc).

I stayed two nights at Days Inn at Historic district in Charleston. I should say it was terrible experience. Bad house clean! Soap gel was on the bath tub and many white particles were on the floor. I complained and ask front office to make the room clean. He said I would do it. But nothing happen.

This hotel was under construction..I tripped walking into the front desk because there were Mexican workers eating there lunch right there on the steps as you walk in...The heater was very loud making weird sounds while we slept so we turned it off and we were cold...No extra blankets in room either.
