This was a nice place to stay. Front desk personnel made me feel welcomed and we're helpful in my inquiries. Room was updated, very clean, large and cozy. Breakfast is extra but was fast, hot and tasty.

I really enjoyed our night stay here. The view of the marsh was beautiful and there was tea and popcorn in the lobby. The bar was nice and quiet and my pancakes in the morning were the best I've ever had! Our room was spacious and comfy and perfect for a rainy vacation day. I will book here again!

This is one of the better hotels I have stayed at. Breakfast was not included in the price but the good price and quality made up for it. The staff was one of the most friendlyi have ever encountered and I know some I live on the road. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very nice. Thank you

We had a great stay, the beds were very comfortable. Rooms were very nice. We had a king room which did overlook the parking lot, but we spent time only to sleep and shower! Staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked about things in the area! Great place!

This was our last stop during a coach tour of SC & GA with Country Travelers Discovery. In my opinion, it was the best motel on the trip. The room had two queen beds, a comfortable chair and a sofa. Very nice to just sit and relax.

I've been here for 2 1/2 weeks with 2 weeks to go. It is clean and nice enough. The staff is friendly and helpful. Laundry on each floor so that is nice. The restaurant is really good. There is no continental or free breakfast but you can opt for a breakfast plan for an additional charge. Would be nice if the pool was outside overlooking the marsh! There also seems to be a lot of riff raff at the econo lodge that shares the parking lot and the city has placed orange barrels in the median which m... Read more

Nice, quiet hotel. Suites are spacious. Very clean. Our room overlooked the marsh, so it felt very private. Beds are comfortable, but bring your own pillow - they provide either a very firm pillow or a lumpy soft one.

The family and I were extremely happy with our visit to this location. For once we had a very nice and quiet night. Would come again. From the room to the pool to the restaurant, it couldn't have been better. Only downside was the road construction but you really can't blame the hotel on that one.

We only stayed one night - but it was GREAT. We were in a Junior Suite - perfect for families with kids! The view from our room was spectacular - overlooking the marsh - no concrete to be seen. Breakfast was awesome and I loved that the kids ate free! Indoor pool was a nice treat and my favorite part of the stay was when I called down and asked for extra towels and linens for the pullout couch, they were at my door MINUTES later! That never happens!!!

At first, the Beaufort Holiday Inn seemed to exceed our needs. Though the location was less than stellar (surrounded by strip malls and construction traffic) and the view less than inspiring (parking lot-yay.) the space itself seemed new with some great amenities. We stayed for 2 nights at a good value. But once we went up to the room, the hallway carpets down the hall were stained and in sore need of attention. Near the elevator, chipped or broken grey granite tiles had been replaced with tan ... Read more

We decided to get a jump on our long weekend in the Beaufort Historic district so we left on Thursday night and checked in at the Holiday Inn on Boundary Street. I have stayed at this Holiday Inn a number of times over the last few years; I do quite a bit of business in Beaufort, SC. This hotel is the cheaper of the 2 nice options (that are not B&Bs) in Beaufort. However, I am going to pay the extra $$ next time for the higher-priced hotel due to a recent stay at this Holiday Inn combined with stays in the past. We stayed here at the HI suites Beaufort for one night enroute to Charleston from FL. We chose the hotel owing to its brand as well as the good reviews on TripAdvisor. Once again we were really happy with the choice: Booking was dead-easy and very reasonably priced for mid-summer vacation time. Check in was basically a walk in the park. Staff very pleasant and efficient. Kids spent time out at the pool after we occupied the room which was great fun for them and us. We got a fourth floor 2xdoubl... Read more

Despite the elevator being down the first day and the spa being out of commission, the meal we enjoyed Friday evening more than made up for those inconveniences. I was on vacation with my dad for a few days, we stayed at a cheaper hotel in Hilton Head for the first few nights and decided to splurge and check out Beaufort. What a mistake that was. I stay here very frequently while on business. I have slowly watched this hotel decline in service and facility care. They are cutting cost on everything they can yet have raised the cost of a stay. One elevator has been broken for months. I ate in the restaurant and was charged $1.50 extra, for dinner rolls, REALLY??? Also they have turned off 2/3 of the parking lot lights, just didn't feel safe while coming in at night. It's a shame, because this used to be a good place to stay.
