Hilton Garden Inn was an excellent location for visiting Beaufort. Friendly atmosphere and good restaurants around the hotel. Convenient to the historical district. Very helpful people at the hotel in pointing out key areas to visit. Restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner.

When we pulled down the duvet, it was splattered with fresh blood. It also became apparent that the sheets were never changed. The front desk responded by sending up the night housekeeper with fresh linens. We also wiped down every surface in the room with disinfectant wipes, and again, it was obvious that the room was not clean, and the carpet was not vacuumed. The hotel compensated by giving us free breakfast vouchers (breakfast is normally a $9.95 charge).

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was clean and comfortable with Sleep Comfort beds. The lobby was cheerfully decorated and looked to be very recently renovated. A buffet breakfast combined with made-to-order items was available for a charge. Hotel employees were friendly, especially the waitstaff. We made our reservation 2 weeks in advance, requesting a King room. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that our room would face a brick wall and were asked if we still wanted that room because other guests did not. We said we would prefer a window and then were told they couldn't give us another King room. Our room was fine. The front desk gentleman was very nice, courteous and efficient, but the morning breakfast on that Saturday was a nightmare. The cereal, breads, and fruit are self serve. There is even self serve coffee and tea. All the kitchen had to do was the waffles and egg dishes and they were totally messed up. We booked a room for one night. The staff was friendly and the room was nice. The bed was supposed to have a button to adjust each side, but I couldn't find it. The location is a short drive to beautiful downtown Beaufort. This is our favorite hotel in Beaufort.

I travel for work and am in Beaufort occasionally. I always stay here as I find the staff to be very accommodating and willing to address any issue. My room was very clean. I was there for a week and the housekeeping staff was very attentive and did a great job every day. I sat out by the pool one afternoon and it was clean and inviting. I was here as my husband had surgery at the local hospital. The staff at this hotel did everything they could to make my stay comfortable & easy. Staff was friendly and helpful even with a Tropical Storm and a Holiday weekend which could have made tempers short. I had a couple of really nice breakfasts and a great burger. Location close to Starbucks, a few other restaurants, and downtown.

This Hilton garden inn was a good place to stay for our overnight in the area. There was some painting that was being done in the elevators but other than that it was up dated nicely. The beds weren't as comfortable as I'm used to in a Hilton but that's a personal preference. Comforters need to be updated. It was clean and the staff were very friendly.

Had a great experience. The staff was excellent, and my room was impeccably clean. The waitresses in the morning were sweet and very attentive. Donna the lady who checked me in was very helpful and efficient. However the lady that works in the restaurant in the evening was lazy, rude and drove me to dine elsewhere. Hope she is elsewhere when I return.

I enjoyed my stay. I felt the staff was helpful. Beds were lovely and very comfortable. The rooms were clean. There weren't any bugs. The pool was clean. Great location near downtown. There are stores within walking distance.

After a long drive you just want to find a place that is quite and where you can relax. This is the place to be. Our room was very nice and relaxing and clean. The air conditional for once was not really loud which made for a nice night to sleep. Nice people. But the hotel it's self was very poor. The rooms A/C was not sufficient to cool the room and the bed was trouble. Dinning was from the 70's seating was very uncomfortable and the flies were a bother. Never would think about staying at this Hotel again.

Every staff person did all they could to accommodate my requests and were very friendly. There was a difficulty in the morning at breakfast for some reason. And the cooks could not keep up with the omelet orders and a number of us had to wait quite a long time. The servers were very apologetic. They have beds that you can adjust for firmness. Friendly staff and beautiful clean rooms! I always stay at Hiltons an Hamptons. This location was newly renovated and was bright and beautiful. From the front desk attendants, housekeepers and restaurant staff were all extremely friendly!!!

Hotel was clean and set well back from the main road. Room was well-appointed. Checked in late after driving from Philadelphia. Visiting Parris Island 30 years after graduating boot camp. Breakfast buffet was excellent with eggs cooked to order. Stayed two nights.

The hotel was great I was thinking breakfast was free but it was about 11.00 per person it is alot out of money when you have kids over the age of 11 so for the three days I was there I was out of almost 180.00 only from eatting breakfast by itself

Front staff was nice and accommodating, but one of the phones in the room did not work, and after a day of using towels and dirties being picked up, new towels were not left. My wife thought the bed was hard and awful, and it has some adjustment, bust still substandard. Common areas were new and spruced, but hallway carpets and walls could be updated. We moved to the Hampton Inn after 2 days as we were a bit disappointed.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was excellent. Wish I could say the same regarding the facility. The hotel guest laundry only has one washer / dryer and during my entire two-week stay the dryer was out of order. The staff went above and beyond, drying and folding my laundry in the linen dryers, but they shouldn't have had to even do that if the facility was kept up.

This is my favorite hotel in Beaufort, the staff is amazing they are very friendly, this is also a very nice hotel with comfortable beds and clean rooms. The hotel is also in a good location. I would highly recommended this hotel.

We had a great stay, although we didn't spent much time at the hotel. We were there for two nights in the summer. The beds are great! The only 'problem' is that the pool is too small for a hotel this size.

I was very pleased with everything. Everything met expectations and lived up to Hilton Properties standards. If you are in Beaufort, SC looking for a room, I'd recommend this Hotel. Excellent location, convenient to the military bases and local attractions as well. Several restaurants within walking distance.

We found the location and accessibility to Parris Island and downtown Beaufort perfect. The staff was terrific and professional. The hotel was clean, the cookies were awesome! We took advantage of the pool, the bar, the breakfast and dinner. Beds were comfortable and the cleaning staff were super efficient. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area whether to enjoy Beaufort or attend a graduation at Parris Island.

We always stay at Hilton Garden Inn when visiting Beaufort. I feel as if it is our home away from home. They are very accommodating, friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the HHonors treats are always well received. The pool in the summer is not that refreshing. Beaufort is a hot place in the summer, so it would be nice perhaps to add cold water each afternoon or install a pump/water feature in the center to keep the water fresh and moving. A few minor glitches with the room which were resolved after we inquired. Overall, the stay was quite nice. Would likely stay there again but would be sure to double check on the room assignment and rate charged as compared to the advertised rate.

This is absolutely the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It was so clean and the beds are great. Even has a Kurig coffee pot. I felt like I was at home. The maid was awesome and friendly and the front desk were so helpful. One young man was from Ohio and you could tell he really enjoyed his job.

I love the decoration of hotels HIlton Garden Inn , I love the location and prices. The pool is very relaxing bubble. Hilton Garden Inn hotels are characterized by the beautiful vegetation surrounding it.

I spent 5 nights at HGI of Beaufort this week for vacation. Everything from my e-check-in to the time I left was amazing. This hotel is so beautiful and relaxing. The front desk and breakfast staff was bar none one of the best I've ever seen in a hotel. Donna, the desk manager, was amazing and made sure I was taken care of. After my first nights stay, I returned to my room to find it had been sprayed with industrial strength insect repellent, not the room freshener one ordinarily encounters in a Hilton Garden Inn. However, the front desk was accommodating in switching me to another room. The breakfast service and staff was abyssmal for the two days I was there, with no place settings or offer of any services. This hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to local restaurants and shopping. The hotel seems a bit in disrepair though. Very hot in the lobby, ice machine out of order, odor from the AC room unit, shower floor corroded, and quite dark around the building at night. I have no complaints about my stay. Friendly front desk staff, restaurant staff. I believe my room was updated. Here's the thing, I have stayed in hotels where they have tile in the entry and in the bathroom. It's that new tiles that is meant to look like wood. Sometimes, when you walk from the shower, with clean feet, out of the bathroom and your feet are already dirty because the floors aren't really clean. Not here! Donna, the front desk manager, is an absolute gem! She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The hotel rooms are clean and comfy. Each room has its own single cup Keureg coffee maker. How convenient! If you don't care for the coffee or tea provided there is a Starbucks within walking distance. Several restaurants and a grocery store are as well. Great staff in a conveniently located hotel that is well kept and clean. I can't remember the last time I saw an employee at a hotel actually cleaning the floors in the common areas, but I saw it here. It's nice to see a hotel that understands how important it is to frequent travelers to have a clean place to stay.

We visited Hunting Island State Park for two days and stayed at the Hilton during that visit. The hotel was not overly close to the beach but it was a pleasant drive out. We did not make reservations and a room was available for a price cheaper than listed on line.

Stayed here for sons graduation from Parris Island. Excellent location, less than 10 min from base and walking distance to restraunts and shopping. Hotel was clean and comfortable! We were a group of 12, in 4 rooms, everyone was happy with room and hotel. Pool was relaxing and clean, lots of seating areas to gather in after long day and restraunt/bar make this the perfect PI graduation hotel !

The hotel is nice, but I got a view of the air conditioner units on the roof. My real complaint is the beds. They are some kind of sleep number knock-offs and mine did not work. It was like sleeping in a canoe. I won't stay in this hotel again. I love the Hilton Hotel chain. But I'll never stay in this one again.

Hotel was fine. Nothing to write home about. Rooms were clean but the bed mattress was a little stiff. The receptionist at the front counter was amazing! Very welcoming and informative. She gave us all the best tips for what to do around town.

Really disappointed in the Hilton Garden Inn Beaufort, especially after staying in a Hilton Double Tree at Savannah the night before checking in. There is a noticable gulf in service between overall service. Coming from a hotel that bent over backwards to make a 1 night stay special, to one which did far from. Upon arriving a little early the Receptionist went out of her way to check us in without delay! Our room was very clean and quiet. I must say that everyone went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed having drinks at the bar downstairs. Thanks to the staff for the great local info it was so helpful.We have stayed at this hotel each time we have traveled to Beaufort and never been disappointed. I look forward to our next visit. The hotel was not what I expected for the amount of money charged. The first room I was given smelled of mold and my allergies instantly reacted. I was given another room. I never had 4 towels and washclothes without asking, even though I paid extra for a room for 4 adults. It took 3 times to get towels the first time I requested them. It was close to Parris Island though.

Very poor experience. I was given a room with a disassembled toilet, entire tank was missing. I was given another room (upgrade) but it was damp with a strong odor, almost moldy. After driving for 15 hours I decided not to push my luck and slept in the room. Never again.

We had a two week business trip and stayed at this hotel the entire time. The staff was incredible!!! I am disappointed there was no continental breakfast and that the restaurant was so expensive-it adds up after two weeks!

This was a great location over looking the marshes. The hotel was nice but seemed a little dated. We were really disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. It just had a dirty look to it with some haiballs on the floor. I loved the temperpedic bed. Overall it was a good experience and would stay there again.

I AM A DEVOTED HILTON HONORS MEMBER AND LOVE EVERYTHING HHONORS. I had pretty much dismissed this stay because I am use to a lot better with Hilton and all the hotels in the collection. This hotel offers nice business accommodation with full bar and restaurant. That is always convenient. It is centrally located amidst tourist attractions and great seafood and is located not far from the historic district. Once the road construction ends (on a few moths?), accessibility will be much easier. The rooms could stand little updating (like the below-window unit that is a shell now that a wall thermostat has replaced it).

Always have excellent stays in Hilton hotels, until now. Went down to breakfast first morning, condensation all over the windows but ignored that, tried to order an omelette as advertised on the boards everywhere in the hotel, told no omelette today but possibly tomorrow, next day told the same thing, thought ok, I'll ask for boiled eggs.. This is a great hotel in a beautiful location. I wish we could have stayed longer but had to leave due to hurricane. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again. The staff was great and the breakfast was good too. It's a great place to stay if you're going to Parris Island.

We travel a great deal and know the routine. It's a comfort to know that when you check into a HGI, you're going to get great service. However, at this property, you get excellent service. Our stay was due to extensive damage at our beach house on the sea islands. After a day of work it was great to check into this beautiful hotel. Clean, neat, great rooms, wonderful design. Price was high but so nice to be in a upper style hotel after our ordeal. Coffee maker is Keurig! Very quiet and clean.

We used points for our stay so we weren't going too fussy but we were really impressed with this HGI. The front desk staff were super friendly, helpful and professional. The room was nice and new and if you're not going to be downtown this is a very close second best. We would definitely stay there again!

We reserved 2 rooms to attend my grandsons graduation from Marine training. The hotel was damaged by a hurracane. Though we had confirmed reservations they called us far later and left a message they were closed. We called them and asked them to relocate us but were told that was up to us. Booked this hotel on oct 11th, 3 days after hurricane Matthew for an upcoming stay for Veterans Day weekend. Just found out today the hotel is closed, not by a phone call but by me calling to check on an early check in. No one called or emailed me about the reservation being cancelled. The bad part is there is a Hampton inn .87 miles from this location and they are open. Guest services supervisor named Gloria from the 800 number wouldn't even try to find me a room. On August 8th we reserved two rooms at this hotel for our son's graduation. Our reservations were November 2nd and 3rd. Upon arrival we were greeted with a piece of paper on the door telling us the hotel had been closed due to hurricane damage. With nearly a month notice, you would think the Hilton Garden staff would contact us and help us set up other arrangements.
