I stayed here during a business trip. Very pleasant stay once we reached the hotel. There is construction going on outside on the road and if you pass the hotel is difficult getting back. The staff was friendly and outgoing. Great customer service. Bathroom floor had a small coffee stain but otherwise room was clean and stay was pleasant

One of the best I've been to so far. Other than the city working on the main road at the entrance which is not the hotel's fault it was great. The hotel has a marsh view and offer benches along the edge to sit and watch the tide come in and out. Nice to relax after a long day

The hotel is a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had booked three rooms and in one of the rooms, the toilet was stopped up and over flowed, which caused the room to have a bad smell. Another room was requested, but the hotel was full. The problem was fixed in a timely manner, but the room just smelled bad. We had to go out and buy air freshener. No problems with the other two rooms. The breakfast was great and check-out was a breeze. Would stay here again.

We checked in at 4:30 pm on a Sunday. We were kept waiting by a male desk clerk for over ten minutes while he passed out checks to employees and kept up a banter with them while children were running screaming all over the lobby area. We mentioned to the clerk when we were checking in that it seemed the cookies had been "sampled" by the kids running around and put back (the cookies were also overcooked). This is when he developed an attitude toward us. We checked the room before getting our lug... Read more

This is a typical Hampton Inn: big clean rooms, nice shower, large bathroom, all recently updated. Breakfast was standard Hampton breakfast. Our room was on the first floor very near the pool, but we were not bothered by any noise from that area. Parking is plentiful and easy to access. Construction on the main road made getting in and out of the hotel a challenge, but that is not the hotel's fault. Ask for a room on the marsh side. Even from the first floor the view is beautiful!

my stay was due to work in this area. This hotel was recommended by a coworker. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, the ease of access to the wifi. This is just an Average Hampton at best. The place needs a full update not just a partial bathroom update. The Housekeeping could be better there where a lot of things missed in the 2 rooms i had and one of the rooms was left open from housekeeping and i guess never checked.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights (Thursday and Friday). The hotel isn't quite as nice as other Hamptons we've stayed at elsewhere, but it isn't terrible. It's fine for a 1-night stay but I don't think we'd stay any longer than that again. The breakfast (which is the main reason we stay at Hamptons) on Friday morning was definitely sub-par and my husband and I both had stomach issues a few hours later. We stayed here during a wedding we were invited to at Fripp Island. The rooms are nicely decorated, staff was hardworking and friendly. The breakfast was great. My only issues were that the comforter was really heavy and made it a little uncomfortable to sleep. Also the humidity in the room made our bed sheets feel wet and our clothes smell bad. Well, a Hampton is a Hampton, right? I've stayed in many. A go to brand for one night passing through if I just need a clean room and good bed. I don't usually review them because they are generally fine for what they are. Stayed in the Beaufort Hampton for one night and it was a cut below the usual. Only one person was ever at the desk, and even though they rotated, that one person was almost always on a cellphone. Got a "hi, how are you," but that's about it. HHonors was noted but not even...
