It was home away from home. The entire staff treated my family wonderfully. No question went unanswered. Housekeeping went above and beyond to make sure we kept clean linen and had no problem giving extra items if needed.

The only room I could find 5 weeks before my trip- not knowing it was The Gullah Festival. This place is run-down and the rooms smelled so bad it was literally nauseating. Like a strong disinfectant of some sort. My sisters room was the same. The bathroom overhead fluorescent light had many dead bugs in the plastic that hung over the counter area. The towels were all tattered and edges all frayed; one even had a hole in it. The shower curtain looked so old I didn't even use the shower/tub. Be... Read more

We had a very negative experience with a different hotel a few hours prior. By the time we decided to stay at Country Inn and Suites, we were very tired. The front desk staff really made us feel welcome, even offered cookies. They treated us like people and tried to meet all our needs. The staff even encouraged us when we were working out in the little work room. The morning was just as nice. I LOVE THIS HOTEL! The Jacuzzi room is amazing, just what we needed.

The Hits: The hotel is in a great location in that is is only 10 minutes from the Waterfront and Historical area. There are also numerous fast food restaurants in the vicinity if this is what you are into. The refrigerator in the room actually had a nice size separate freezer. This is uncommon in most hotels. There is also a microwave in the room. Freshly baked cookies in the lobby continuously, even with all the kids that were around. I particularly liked the macadamia nut cookies and the choco... The staff was amazing! Our hotel room was filthy. There were hairs all over the toilet, even the back of the toilet. There was mold around the soap dish. The shower was just dirty. There was mold in the ac vents which caused the room to smell. Although. My dad had a room where the ac was an actual unit and his room did not smell-but we controlled out ac through a regular thermostat (we had a suit). The carpet was gross and we had like bug shells on our beding

We were staying for my daughters graduation of USMC. The staff was amazing! They answered every question and even engaged in conversation. The rooms were very comfortable and the AC was extremely awesome since it was 115 outside! Loved having a microwave oven & refrig in the room!

The staff went out of their way to help looking up information on local attractions and eateries. They also gave information on the graduation from Parris Island. This hotel was very close to Parris Island. The staff was very friendly and courteous and the rooms were clean and neat.

The front desk staff and breakfast staff did a great job acomodating the needs of their visitors. Hotel is clean and we'll maintained. I will stay multiple times during return visits. The location needs some new plants and shrub around the perimeter of the property

I was extremely surprised that EVERY ONE of the staff members were so nice & helpful! Southern hospitality at its best! Even though you could tell that everyone was busy, they all had a smile & greeted you. We had a little mix up on our room, but it was taken care of within minutes. Breakfast was great & restocked as soon as the food ran out. The hotel itself does need some updating, but is clean. Looking forward to booking again soon!

This is a very reasonable place to stay for Marine graduation. No frills, needs some maintenance, but relatively clean. Staff is very friendly. No housekeeping after rooms are done... I heard another guest ask for clean sheets because hers had blood on them. They could not make the bed for her.

We enjoyed our short stay at Country Inn & Suites in Beaufort, SC. The front desk employees were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only down side was that the bathroom had a moderate mold odor. I think a little bleach spray in the bathroom would control that smell. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

I would like to say that the staff here were fantastic. However, the hotel itself was very dirty. The room we received had dust hanging off of the ceiling fan and we found a roach in the sofa bed my son was sleeping in. We will not be going back.

From the moment I arrived, I had nothing but a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and the rooms were very spacious. Plus, nothing is better than the fresh cookies at the desk and a free breakfast as good as any. I found my new favorite place to stay in Beaufort.

The hotel recognizes why many people are visiting the area and do everything they can to make it easier for us during the visit. They did a good job recommending places to eat and ensured we had a wonderful stay in the Beaufort area.

Front desk (Anne), was very welcoming with a sweet smile. A precious asset to this hotel. Was the room a bit outdated? Yep! HOWEVER, I slept nearly 12 hours in a very comfortable & clean (believe me I checked to make sure it was clean) bed without being disturbed by noises or doors slamming in the hallway.....and I stayed on a night the hotel was at maximum capacity! Also the TV in the room had a great picture and I also had a microwave and fridge. I would choose this hotel again.

The Staff was AMAZING!!! I've stayed in a lot of motels/hotels in my lifetime but the staff at this place was the best I've ever encountered. Always super friendly & helpful. They made me & my entire family feel very welcomed. Our rooms were always clean and we always had fresh towels. The Breakfast was awesome! Gotta throw in dislikes, the pool area is dirty, the pool itself is falling apart, we were literally stepping on pieces of concrete that fell off the sides of the pool, it was slimy, & ... Read more

Overall, we had a good experience. Hotel is definitely an older hotel, but it presents well when you walk in. Our room was fine except for the bathroom and the beds. WE had a room with 2 "queen" beds. Although very comfortable, there's no way those beds were queen size. Seemed more like a full to me. As for the bathroom, It definitely needed upgrades. Shower head was not good for my 3 guys who were all around 6ft tall. Shower itself was just old and not in the greatest shape. The exhaus... Read more

This hotel is one of the stinkiest places I've ever visited. The stench of deodorizers hits you in the lobby & is an overwhelming odor. Could tell right away that there were issues they were trying to hide. In the room, the odor sent my allergies into overdrive... the odors of body odor, mold & mildew were too much. On top of these fumes was the strong & nauseating stench of deodorizers. Carpet was mildew-y & looked very dirty. On top of this was a lot of noise outside my door with very t... Read more

Excellent breakfast. room was good. Pool needed to have the filter changed or cleaned, very murky water. Staff very polite.Good location in the city of Beaufort. Great tribute wall to Marines in hallway. Adjacent parking lot has large potholes, so be careful driving in, especially if you have a low car.

My wife and I decided to stay at Country Inn & Suites from 9/9/16 - 9/12/16 for a family trip. I must say our experience was superior to any expectations we had. Our room was immaculate and the staff was amazing. I'd recommend it to any person or family and we'll certainly never stay anywhere else again when we're in Beaufort.

Clicked on Maps on my phone and clicked specifically on this hotel and the amenities and it shows they are pet friendly. We are local residents and after having no power or water for 3 days we found they were up and running. They told us that they in fact are not pet friendly but we could bring our dog for $150 (non-refundable) on top of our $85.50 (less taxes) room rate. We have stayed at many hotels with our dog and the most we have ever been charged for a pet fee was $50. We were willing to p... Read more
