I frequently come to this area for work and I have stayed in all 3 Hilton properties. This one has a nice location with a movie theater next door along with some dining options. I did find the rooms a little loud, and I am not sure I would stay here again since the prices at the HGI across the highway are lower.

This hotel is situated in a hotel circle with restaurants surrounding it. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The lobby staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The breakfast they serve daily is also very good. Have stayed here everytime we have come to town to visit.

This hotel is by far a superior hotel! Rooms were very clean and spacious, with a great location next to a movie theater and several nice restaurants! Was staying for business but would definitely come back for a personal visit. A MUST STAY!!

I felt forced to check in digitally. The maps were not intuitive. I required a King Suite to accommodate my wife and I because the second room contained a pull out sofa for our children ( in a separate room). The room we were assigned was on the second floor of a four story property, with the kind bed's head board placed against the elevator shaft. As a result we were blessed to hear every person checking in and slamming their car doors in the covered entrance to the hotel, only to be followed u... Read more

Friendly staff, nice room, AC was great, Usual Hampton Inn breakfast, convenient location. Only drawback was that I found 3 items of clothing in my room. 2 were in the closet - understandable that they were overlooked by guests and housekeeping. One was on the desk chair. When I found that, I wondered if the room had been cleaned well. Seems that if the chair had been moved for vacuuming, housekeeper would have seen the clothing there. Never could get wifi to load. Just used my own hotspo... Read more

A nice little Hampton Inn within walking distance to many restaurants - Wild Wing Cafe, Outback Steakhouse, and Hooters to name a few. Rooms very comfortable and great Hampton free Breakfast. Hotel sits right ff of I 85's exit 19B. My room (odd numbered) looked out on I 85 so there was some highway noise. It was a weekend so this was minimal

Good reception at the front desk by April. Nice rooms, not bad breakfast, and the guys seem to like the pool. The location is surrounded by restaurants and just off the interstate. TV selection is good - HBO and sports. Internet is fast and stable - requires a daily login.

On our road trip my husband and I made reservations at the Hampton Inn in Anderson. We tried making our reservations direct and got people who barely spoke English and we couldn't understand. So finally I just called the hotel directly( which I would highly recommend) talked to Josh and he care of everything without a problem. We arrived to such a warm welcoming staff. Check in was smooth and it has tons of restaurants and stuff around it. Our room was nice and spacious and appeared to be ... Read more

The staff is super courteous and the facility is very clean and updated. The location, which is across from a movie theater and walkable to an Outback Steakhouse, allows a weary traveler to grab a decent dinner without having to get back in the car. Will definitely return!

Shower plumbing backed up, tub was moldy, light fixtures were burned out and contained dead insects. Room had obvious patches in the walls. Upon checking in, was assigned a room only to find someone else's luggage on the bed.

Great staff. Very professional, courteous, and go out of their way to help you. Great location. Excellent restaurants within walking distance (I counted over 5 within two blocks). Easy access in and out of the area. Rooms were extremely clean, roomy, and quiet. My second stay at this Hampton, and I've enjoyed both.

The customer service at this hotel was top notch. Better than at some of the high end hotels I have stayed at for work. Having a hot breakfast waiting downstairs was fantastic. The room was neat and clean. However, the room was slightly damp and humid. Turing the thermostat cooler did not help much but I never called the front desk about it for them to come fix it.

The Hampton Inn in Anderson, SC, is visible from I-85 with easy access on and off. A Cracker Barrel is at the edge of the Hampton Inn parking lot. The Saturday night that I stayed there after a 500-mile drive confirmed the good experience that I have always had with this chain. The desk clerk was welcoming and eager to meet my needs. He found me a room on the first floor, and parking was right outside the front door. The room was exactly what I needed to unwind from a stressful drive. It had fre... Read more

After driving all day in hot sun which finally gave away to heavy "can't see" thunderstorms, I needed to sleep. I normally try to stop at exit 19 off I-85 cause there are plenty of options and its closer to my destination when coming south. Decision to be made... go to a cheap motel cause it's a one night stay or a comfortable sleep with a respected name. I chose Hampton Inn. Guess what? There are two Hampton Inns in Anderson SC. I made a res through a third party for the wrong Hampton Inn. Aaro... Read more

My wife and I have stayed at this Hampton Inn and have not had a bad experience on any stay. Yes maybe a little bump in the night here and there, but nothing the friendly staff haven't tried to make right. There are several places nearby which are pleasant to eat at (not Fatz). Rates are reasonable unless Clemson is playing a home game, then lookout. Give them a try.

We had booked 4 rooms at another hotel down the road and upon our arrival we found bugs on our beds and dog hair on the furniture. While the hotel was well maintained, extremely friendly staff, and accommodating there was a big problem. We were evacuating out of Charleston due to the hurricane. I will say that I abhor the price gouging demonstrated by this hotel due to Hurricane Matthew. Normally, we could have booked this hotel for $91.00/fed govt rate ( as we were evacuated from Joint Base Charleston). I understand raising the hotel rooms for football game weekends, as people have a choice. But we did not have a choice,... Read more

I was pleasantly surprised and extremely uplifted by the actions of some thoughtful employee at breakfast. Someone had taken the time to place handwritten inspirational words on the bananas! Hotel: I sayed at this hotel for three days and it was pretty disappointing I mean I've stayed at a lot of Hampton Inn before and this one was pretty bad. This Hampton is nothing like the Hampton Inn near exit 27 off of I-85. This hotel needs to be updated or maybe it was just the room I had.
