My wife and I take an annual trip to the Warick/Newport area around this time. We travel with our four-legged furry children (read as: dogs). Very appreciative that Extended Stay accommodates them. Responsible dog owners are thankful! I'd also like to thank GM Jenn Carlson, who was above-and-beyond helpful with an issue I was having (wasn't bad, nor did it have anything to do with this particular hotel - just a general travel mixup-type thing). She went out of her way to resolve my issue, and f... Read more

We arrived at the hotel to check in around 2:00 am on New Years day and we had to wait in the vestibule because the lobby door was locked. We called the front desk multiple times and there was no answer, so we continued to wait. We were finally let in by other guests that were returning to the hotel. We then waited 2-3 minutes at the front desk for the clerk to come back and I was a little surprised to see her wearing sweatpants. I'm not opposed to someone being comfy, especially during the earl... Read more

I was very surprised when I came back to my room after getting take-out that all the cupboards and drawers were bare. I went to the front desk where I was given a spoon for my soup. After asking about a coffee pot I was handed one of those as well. It was explained to me that utensils, plates etc. are given on a per request basis. Not thrilled. At the time I was told it was because I could steal everything if it was pre-stocked. Upon contacting corporate I was told it is because it would cost ... Read more

I was in Warwick and stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel is off the local highway with lots of shops and a mall about 1/2 mile away. I drove past a movie theater close by a few times. Overall rooms were a good size, clean, and up to date. Kudos to the front desk guy for changing my room so I got a better view. Would repeat business. The cleaning staff gave me extra soaps and shampoos!!!!!

My fiancée and I visited this location in mid April 2016. Upon arrival We were told that we have to wait about 30 minutes to check in because the "system was down" I did my reservation on Expedia and was wrongly charged again by the receptionist at the hotel. It has been more than 5 business days and they do not know where my money is or when it is going to be refunded back into my account. When I called the location back to speak to a supervisor concerning the issue. They did not seem to show ... Read more

We stayed here this past Memorial Day holiday in Room 303. Housekeeping didn't thoroughly clean the room. When we moved the lounge recliner chair, we found a couple of old dusty crackers underneath. Then while I was looking for an outlet near the bed, I found old dry chicken bones on the carpet between the bed and the side table. Ew!

The hotel was accesible. The room was clean and neat at the moment we checked in. The personnel was cordial. For some reason there were no utilities in the kitchenette; just the refrigerator and microwave oven. I also expected more room service, the personnel only cleans once a week (if you stay for more than 7 days). Overall, I'd give it a C+.

We had a small kitchen but you have to request the dishes or pots/pans; they are not in the room. The included breakfast is a "grab and go" which includes apples, oranges, coffee, prepackaged muffins and granola bars and oatmeal. There is coffee and hot water. The is no where to eat these but back in your room or in your car so it really in grab and go. There is no ice in the hall but there are ice trays in the freezer in the room; the problem is waiting for the water to freeze the first day.

This hotel has gone significantly downhill since I last stayed here. I arrived after hours to a locked door and after hours phone that did not work. After pounding on the door for at least 10 minutes, I was greeted by an annoyed front desk person that could not complete the check in process. After finally getting to my room after a long, exhausting day of flying, I was called to come back to the front desk because my credit card didn't make the evening audit. The next morning there was no grab a... Read more

Apparently not all Extended Stay Americas are the same, but I can tell you this place was clean. The room, a Queen bed studio, was pretty large and nicely furnished with modern European style decor. It didn't look like a budget room. It has a small kitchenette if needed. The bathroom was comfortable with a bathtub. I'd only recommend that there be a switch that separated the bathroom light from the bathroom fan. Sometimes you only want one or the other. Only basic TV with a movie station. No hig... Read more

We arrived about midnight. When we first walked into the room (Rm. 112), we were greeted with a terribly foul odor. I was surprised to find no dishes in the cabinets. Then it made sense why the check-in person was telling me what dishes and things they had to offer. But she didn't say that those things weren't already in the room. I called the front desk to request dishes and ask about the smell, but no one answered. I then went around to the front desk and no one was there. Thankfully we... Read more

We struggled to find a hotel with rooms to accommodate a family of five. So this is why we stayed at extended stay. We didn't enjoy it too much. Although check in staff are nice it didn't compensate for rooms that smelt stale, sticky dirty carpets, poorly equipped kitchen. You have to go to reception and ask for each item individually like knives and forks and some items won't be available like skillet. We didn't try the breakfast as we cooked in room. Laundry room is convenient
