I have stayed at this Hampton Inn three times in the past year. Each time I have received excellent service from all staff members. They are extremely accommodating, making sure we have everything we need. The breakfast is by far the best I have experienced in terms of variety, taste and abundance. They offer coffee and tea 24/7. One night I wanted tea with honey, and the front desk staff member went out of his way to find some for me. The grounds are well kept, and the rooms are clean, com... Read more

I travel to the S.Kingstown area 3-4 times a year for business and pleasure. For business, the hotel is convenient and comfortable. For vacation, I normally visit over the summer, and the hotel is perfect. They provide beach towels and pails for the kids, and the staff is always helpful with recommendations for food or activities. This is my go to place in the area.

For the second time in three years, we stayed at the South Kingstown, Rhode Island Hampton Inn. We adore the location. Furthermore, the staff is so warm and friendly. The hotel is located next to several excellent dining spots and the amazing thing is there is a new top movie Theatre in the complex.

There are not many hotels in this part of Rhode Island, so having a Hampton Inn just minutes away from several key attractions is a real plus. Newport, ferries to Block Island, beautiful beaches and Providence are all within 30 minutes. Hamptons are reliably clean, comfortable, homy, inviting, and have all the key amenities you want, like a fitness center, coffee in the room, and a nice basic breakfast in pleasant surroundings with TV are a good way to start the day. This is a great place to stay when visiting Kingstown, RI. Whether you spend the day at the beach or visit the local sights or take the ferry to Block Island for the day, this Hampton Inn is a perfect place to stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast has a variety of offerings and I particularly enjoy the hot tub at the end of the day.

This Hampton Inn is right in "our town!" We've been remodeling and have stayed three (3) times, the last for the longest period. Nine months ago, we were amazed (and ashamed) - being HHonors, GOLD members - that our "Home Town Hampton" was so expensive - we can stay in downtown Berlin, Germany, for less cash, and equal points (30,000). Also, it's got "old" fabric chairs instead of ergonomic and the TV remotes are old tech. I complained the first time, 9 months ago, and got refunded one night. ... Read more

We stayed for a week in July 2016 while visiting family in the Narragansett area. The staff at the front desk were helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Only thing is that they do not have a comfortable reading chair in the room. The mattress was on the soft side. The indoor pool is a good size. The breakfast buffet was a standard Hampton one and very good. Room rates during the summer season were very high. It is about a ten to fifteen minute drive to Narragansett Beach.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Pool was well-maintained. I did use the business office for some calls, emails and printing and it was adequate (there was only enough seating for two people, but the wifi worked fine in the room, so you don't need to use the business office). We did have an error on our bill, but I called and the staff was very helpful and responsive, quickly finding the issue and resolving it.
