I don't think hotel staff could be more friendly or helpful. From the time we checked in until the time we left, we were well taken care of by the staff. JWU holds their graduation right next door at The Dunkin Donuts Center making this the perfect place to stay. Federal Hill is a short walk or drive away. Providence Place Mall is close by. We stayed here to be near the Dunkin' Donuts Center for a college graduation. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Nice city view from the higher floors (ask for city view). They are conveniently located right next door to the Dunkin Donuts center, so if you have a function to go to, I'd recommend staying here. It is also down the street from all the restaurants in Federal Hill and a comfortable walk to the downtown area. Rooms have coffee maker; t... Read more

Great place to stay for graduation. Very convenient and very close to the Dunkin center.Breakfast and amenities are good.the Dunkin center. Pool is cool and amenities are good. Only complaint is that after graduation, we called asked one of the valet guy for a taxi,he put us in a van which isnt a taxi and we ended up getting extremely ripped off because there was no meter in the van.

The staff at the Hilton are all so pleasant and add a great value to the experience. I met a lovely young woman by the name of Rachel, who was such a sweetheart. She took care of my questions and concerns with such class that it made me comfortable to approach her more than once. I also had the chance to meet some managerial staff which handled large numbers of guests from the graduation while still being able to attend to others like myself. This place exemplifies a great standard for hotels. T... Read more

We stayed for three nights in a large comfortable room. The staff were solid and the room was quiet. It's a great location if you are visiting the conference centre but it's a fair walk to downtown and or Brown or RISD campuses. The hotel needs updating; however, the current price is pretty competitive given the large rooms and good staff. I'd stay there again.

Stayed at the Hilton in Providence for a quick summer getaway with my life. The staff makes you feel right at home! I checked in around 4pm and my room was clean, efficient with a great city view of Providence. Mitch and Sinjin at the desk were great giving me and my wife idea's of things to do in the area as well as directing us to federal hill where all the great restaurants are. The next time I am in Providence I will be sure to stay at this wonderful hotel.

Check -in was wonderful. However a few things not up to par for a Hilton. The air was not working properly and it was very warm and muggy. Also, from the moment we checked in the room it smelled of cigarette smoke very bad. I thought it was me until my husband mentioned it the next day. Also, at other Hiltons, there was a "goody bag" on arrival as well as a little muffin, water and piece of fruit you can grab on the go every morning. this is a renovated holiday inn upgraded slightly to hilton still with the popcorn ceiling of yesterday. pleasant and attentive check in staff. rooms renovated . we had two rooms a large king size with a sofa but a much smaller room with two king size beds. bathrooms were extra small with hilton quality products. i was especially dissapointed with the breakfast buffet. Found it very average and charging $20.00 a person. It did have an omelette and waffle station, but low on other option... Read more

First time staying at this property. It was a bit further from where I am used to staying especially since I could not find any local store to shop in that did not require driving to, but that was fine. Check in was smooth and simple. It is your standard Hilton nothing out of this world but a nice hotel. I did have 3 incidents that made for a less than stellar stay though. Firstly, I stated on my Hilton Honors preferences that I required down alternative hypoallergenic bedding. When I got ... Read more

We stayed at this Hilton part points/part payment as we were touring the area. As Diamond members we were disgusted by the poor standard at this hotel. Room average. Terribly limited breakfast. We were out the second day and when we returned the room had not been serviced. No fresh towels. It was 8.30 pm! Would definitely not go back to this hotel.

Although I was with a group of other business people I was treated fairly well. I only wish I had at least a queen bed since my husband and I did not fit in a full size bed. Everything in the room was in good working order. Even the fridge that I ordered kept my food and meds nice and cold.

We cancelled our original reservation at the Biltmore to stay at the Hilton Providence. The room especially the beds were clean and comfortable. There were a couple of minor concerns BUT what really matters is that the staff shows geniuwine concern and took accountability of our concerns. Nice people. Beautiful hotel. We will definitely be back again.

This is a great location. It's just off of Interstate 95 and within walking distance of the Federal Hill restaurants. Actually, not a bad walk to the train station either. The self parking was a bit expensive: $25 a night. The breakfast was a little expensive: $21. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful.

This is a very basic hotel, and is currently undergoing renovation in their restaurant (there is no bar, just a bucket of beers behind a desk). We paid $200 for the room - I think a fair price would be $120. Omni next door seemed much nicer/newer. Our room smelled of faint smoke. I would say the staff, though, is very friendly, highlighted by Norma (sp?) who I saw handle a number of drunk patrons at 2am last Friday with real professionalism. That is what is keeping this a three star rating, and ... Read more

Spent one night at the Hilton Providence. The parking was quite expensive, 25 for self-parking and 28 for valet parking. The room was big and clean. The people in the room next to us got home at 2 am and started having a party, being loud and smoking. We called the reception and they quickly sent someone to sort it out.

I recently stayed at this hotel for my sister's bachelorette weekend. The staff were simply incredible and made our weekend especially enjoyable. Each of the staff members made us feel like we were the most important guests - from the bellhop to Nicole at the front desk who sent us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. We can't thank you enough for helping to make my sister's weekend so special. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Providence.

The hotel and the hotel staff was top notch but the food was disgusting! Breakfast staff didn't care and everything was cold. When told about it, they did nothing. Dinner the night before was just as bad. Scallops were raw and had to be sent back. Personal flatbread was flat on taste as well. If we had to base our next stay on the quality of the food, we wouldn't even consider a return visit.

This hotel is situated in the heart of providence. Just a 5-7 min walk to the historic water fire , federal hill, and to the Providence Place mall. We picked a room on the 12th floor which had great views. The room was very clean and well kept. One of the best beds , we haven't slept better that often. The accommodations were very nice...and we received the "high floor requested" that we knew was not guaranteed. Also, the price at which the room was reserved was lowered by the hotel when we saw that the current price was lower...via phone call to hotel. Our only complaint was the overly warm comforters on the beds. But... we found out one can request lighter weight bedding. It is a bit difficult to get to if one is not familiar with the area, but we would stay there again.
