The adult only areas were great! No kids lounging around, and security made sure of it! Def a 5 star hotel. Next time I go to PR I would not dare stay somewhere else. This hotel is one of the best!! We went down to Condado Vanderbilt for a long weekend away with the gals and stayed in a suite. Our butler Andrew was exceptional. He paid close attention to our needs and worked closely with management to make our vacation stress-free. He went above and beyond and was very personable. We'd go back again if we knew Andrew would be taking care of us! What a treat!

The Vanderbilt is a fantastic hotel/resort. From the moment you arrive you can see the building and grounds are well kept. Tonight is my last of 7 nights at the Condado Vanderbilt. My mother, myself, and my dog Frodo had a very wonderful stay in Room 1210. When we arrived we were offered champagne and Angel helped us with our luggage and gave us a tour of the room. It was nice that when we saw him in the following days that he remembered our names. Every single beach butler/attendant was super friendly and helpful. I think the hotel needs to give everyone who worked the beach June 1-June 7 a raise and a bonus. They ... Read more

The hotel lobby, bar, pool, cigar lounge, spa, are all very nice at this hotel. What we really found lacking were the rooms themselves - they were boring and bland with no unique features. For the price of staying at the Vanderbilt, we were really disappointed in the very generic feeling rooms. We definitely felt that the room itself did not reflect the nightly room rate that we paid - our room was a tower ocean king room. I am near tears with such an amazing experience. Long story short, I had a toothache while I was on vacation. I went to the front desk to cancel a spa appointment because of the pain. Next thing I know, I was being personally walked to the nearest dentist, side by side with a hotel rep. I never felt so cared for! I was back to feeling better and enjoying my trip in a few hours. This hotel easily gets 5 stars. It is what you would expect and the service is great. If you don't have plans to venture too far, this is the place to be. If you are looking for a beachy hotel with water activities on site or nearby, I highly recommend staying somewhere else.

We really liked the staff at this hotel and thought it was a good location for us to have a short family getaway. The pool area was nice and the staff there were extremely polite and very helpful. The service was also very good. We booked a two bedroom suite for us, my mother in law and my three kids. I have to say the second bedroom was not very clean and the hallways leading to the suite looked like they never even get vacuumed. I have traveled all over the world for business and pleasure and the Condado Vanderbilt stands out as the absolute best. Here is why: 1. Service, service, service. The service was impeccable. They absolutely blow the Four Seasons out of the water. My room had butler service and they were there whenever I needed anything and had very good communication as to when I could expect requests to be fulfilled (suit pressing & laundry). 2. We had a wonderful three night stay. Our suite was fantastic and Ravael and the other butlers were helpful and attentive. The pool was fun, Francisco was responsive and accommodating. Our only complaint was the Tacos and Tequila restaurant, we had dinner there our first night and the tacos were amazing but the service was slow. Great spot with luxury amenities! Highly recommend.

This place is beautiful. However, doing simple things like ordering breakfast seem to be impossible. Currently have called downstairs multiple times and no answer - it shouldn't take 30 mins to reach someone for breakfast delivery. Never been to a hotel before where I couldn't order room service, because no one is willing to answer the phone.
