Had three rooms for a recent graduation. Prices were reasonable, breakfast was terrific and rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy to find and close to the highway. The negatives were the train that runs seriously right next to the hotel, and despite being told all our rooms were set to be near each other, when our third room nieces checked in they were told our floor was full. When I went back to the desk, the nice guy who checked us on and had them set said the other gal moved them but couldn... Read more

While it was just one night, the bedding was truly memorable. So comfy- great mattress and pillows. The room was clean and nicely appointed. A very nice breakfast was provided. The staff was pleasant and courteous. On the down side, the lighting in the room was awful; bordering on dark. The way the one light in the bathroom is situated a shadow is cast over the mirror and applying make-up was a feat. Lastly, we asked for a 7:00AM wake-up call and it never came. Clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. This place is your standard highway exit hotel, but the staff puts in a little more effort to make your stay enjoyable. I flew into town preparing for a relocation to Elkins Park. My girlfriend and I were both very satisfied with our stay. We used the gym, ate a big breakfast every day, had a clean room, and the staff was on point. Not much more I could ask for.

This hotel gets lots of use! We usually stay here with our soccer team - and we usually have plenty of company - other teams, family groups, business groups, etc. But, despite being a busy place, the rooms are clean, the staff is efficient and the place looks good. (One panel on the inside of the elevator being an exception...) Breakfast is crowded though! Have to wait for refils of food, but the staff are quick about it and helpful too.

Hotel is a bit old. Most of the AC in this hotel are broken and so do ice making machines. Hallways have no AC in the 90F, very hot. Have to switch to anther room since the AC had been stopped working on 2nd day of stay. Staffs are very friendly. Breakfast is ok not so much selection. I was not welcomed as an Hilton honor silver member nor received any complimentary such as bottle of water for being an silver tier member. Donna is a very nice front desk lady. She helped me change room.

Do not expect a response from guest services is you have an issue. I had a room without a working cooling system. I contacted customer service twice and both times they told me they were sending somebody up. I did not happen. I waited 4 1/2 hours before going to the front desk in person to lodge my complaint before I was aided by the front desk attendant. Other than that I would say the stay was average.

Stayed for 2 nights, AC unit had me awake every hour on the hour until I finally got up and turned it off. NO AC if I wanted to sleep. The hotel is fine-- standard suburban hotel, includes breakfast with eggs and other hot food. Also a nicely appointed small fitness room. I would note that the manager (Roger) was very helpful in resolving a problem that we had with our prepaid booking that resulted in a possible double charge. So given that the rooms, food, etc at all these chain hotels are similar, I'm happy to recommend this one on the basis of customer service!

I stayed here recently on a business trip and the hotel was 4 mi from the conference site. The room felt a bit damp in the summer heat but the air conditioner worked well. Bed was comfortable. The hot breakfast was a nice addition but I only took part in the coffee. As for the gym, needed some repairs. One of the 3 treadmills didn't work and the tv on another treadmill didn't work. There was one elliptical and a bike. The staff was extremely nice during the stay.

The hotel is easy to find, right by the Willow Grove Turnpike exit or right off of PA 611. There are quite a few restaurants in the area, although maybe not as convenient to simply walk to. There was a little bit of noise from the turnpike at night from my room which did face the highway. My room was fine, standard Hampton Inn. Wifi was quick, breakfast buffet was better than some Hamptons. I would stay here again if I wanted to be close to but not actually in Philly.

As I loyal Trip Advisor reader and reviewer, I make a lot of my travel decisions based on reviews that I read. Due to the DNC in Philly, space was limited, but we found a hotel nearby with a decent rate. Unfortunately after reading the reviews we quickly cancelled and thankfully found this Hampton Inn nearby.
