Overall we really enjoyed this hotel. It was sparkling clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, great water pressure with lots of hot water, and there was a good breakfast. When we checked in, the front desk person was businesslike but not very friendly. We went to our room, came right back down to go out for dinner and I remarked to her that I was surprised that Priority Club members didn't receive water or anything as at other IHG properties. She reached over, pulled out a little bag wit... Read more

My wife and I stayed at this property for a couple of nights. The staff were incredibly friendly. Our room, a king suite, was very spacious and well appointed. In particular, the bathroom was large and well stocked. The room and bathroom, like the lobby, were very clean. The room was quiet even though there is a major highway next to the hotel. If you're looking for a flashy, boutique style hotel, this is not your choice. But if you're looking for a spacious room, decent complimentary brea... Read more

Room was clean and comfortable. Doors of rooms close heavy and are very loud, so when someone in the hallway close a door after entering or exiting a room, it's loud, especially if it is next to you. I would advise ear plugs for this as really there is not much the hotel can do about it. Unless they remind guests to close the door behind them instead of letting it slam. Lobby and breakfast was nice.

Perfectly clean, nice completely renovated bathroom, very comfy bed, good quality toiletries, choice between hard and soft cushions etc...All those details make for a very comfortable stay. We had a room facing the back of the hotel which was the calmest side. There is a pool (but it should be cleaner). Breakfast was OK, with quite a big choice and a pancake machine. But the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, I wouldn't call this a great location. There was some noise coming through the "connect... Read more

The room was very clean and supplied with a fridge and microwave. The breakfast which included eggs, sausage, cinnamon buns, cereal, toast and pancakes was very good, plentiful and all part of your room rate. Very friendly staff !

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I don??t usually get a good night??s sleep in a hotel, but I did sleep well. I second the comment about the loud doors, though. The room is well soundproofed to the outside, which was a good thing, since it??s on a busy highway with lots of commercial activity (making entry to and exit from the parking lot occasionally dicey). The room is well lit with one exception: no reading lamp by the armchair. The chair thus served no useful purpose, since... Read more

I called the manager to explain an issue prior to arriving. After not returning my 2 previous messages, I finally was able to get the hotel manager on the phone. After explaining my issue to him, he said it wasn't his problem. I was trying to understand the reasoning and asked a few questions. He proceeded to start screaming at me. The more I tried calmly talking to him the more upset he grew and then hung up on me mid sentence. If this is the way they treat your prior to checking in, I can... Read more

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express multiple times and will probably do so again when we visit relatives in that area. This Holiday Inn Express is clean, convenient, comfortable and consistent with the quality we have come to appreciate in Holiday Inn Express hotels across the country. The only drawback top this location is the slight inconvenience of pulling into the hotel when coming from the east on Wilmington Pike.

I called earlier to let them know I'd be arriving late and not to give the room away. I showed up 10 minutes earlier than I thought at 0250 and waited in the vestibule ringing the doorbell and calling the front desk for 20 minutes before the night manager let me in. Other than that the hotel was nice and exactly as planned. If arriving late plan on waiting in the vestibule.

Despite being so close to a significant number of relevant attractions/cities/etc, getting to and from this hotel can be such a pain, depending on the route you take. The traffic/congestion in the area can sometimes be overwhelming and once you get to the hotel, you don't necessarily want to leave, despite have a necessity to. Fortunately, the hotel itself is fairly comfortable. The staff are competent and the facility is kept clean. Nothing remarkable about the room - just what you might expec... Read more

We stayed here while visiting the West Chester area for a couple of days. We didn't find the location all that difficult to access but we weren't traveling during rush hour either. The hotel was very, very clean which was nice. There is a small store with some necessary travel items, meds and snacks as well as an office area with computers and printers to use if necessary. Complementary breakfast was typical for this hotel class and it was more than adequate. The downsides are probably the poo... Read more

Great place to stay when in town on business in West Chester. Rooms clean and comfy. Great restaurants nearby. Nice parking lot, well lit. Quiet neighborhood. No riff raff hanging around. Friendly staff and ice cold Coke available if needed.

Checkin was easy since we were the only ones at that time. The front desk was very welcoming. I used the app to make the ressie and added requests for a foldaway bed and extra pillows which wasn't in the room as request. They did bring quickly however these requests seemed like a surprise. Beds and room clean and comfy. Breakfast was adequate with usual fare. I did call early for a late checkout and they were unable to accommodate since they were completely booked from a tour and for the next n... Read more

Good solid basics, Comfortable bed, clean and organized, free breakfast. Really great option for a short business trio. Staff was very cordial and helpful, both reception and at breakfast. Free and seemed like ample parking. The air conditioning a bit old and noisy, nothing too disruptive. Location is good although.

This hotel was just OK. It's not one of the newer style Holiday Inn Express hotels and it's not one of the older ones either. It seems to be right in the middle in terms of design and modernness. When I turned down my sheets I noticed a yellow stain, so I asked the front desk to be switched to another room. In my new room there were several hairs of different lengths in the sheets. Other than that the rooms seem to be well maintained but aren't necessarily modern. I also found it offensive tha... Read more

Just in for the night. Modern hotel, Great service, Very clean and updated rooms. They also have a pantry that if you don't feel like going out there is at least a microwave meal you can grab. Rooms have Fridges and Microwaves. Less than two minutes away is a shopping center with a starbucks, saladworks, and a sports bar PJ Whelihan's- which I would recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for our annual family reunion in July. I do have some suggestions regarding our stay. Move the Keurig coffee maker from bathroom to internal part of room. The doors slam extremely hard which awakens other sleeping guest. If you don't close hard the door remains ajar. Provide more lush and softer bath towels, they were thin. On Sat. evening there was a male hotel rep who was rude when I called to acquire about clean towels. He also told many members of my family to move ... Read more

We stayed 2 nights for a softball tournament. We need 3 beds, so my wife called ahead to ensure we would have a rollaway bed for our son. This request was confirmed with the hotel. However, when we arrived, not only were we informed that we did not have the type of room that we thought we had requested, we were also told that they could not put a rollaway cot in that type of room. They told us it was a fire code violation, however that is what my husband does for a living, and we knew this was u... Read more

At first glance, the property is nothing that would excite comment of any note. The three storied building is neat and set on a slight rise above a busy intersection. Built as a Comfort Inn, the hotel was recently converted into a Holiday Inn Express a couple of years ago. Its pedigree may have been elevated a smidgeon, but it's still a bland budget hotel, though not always with budget-minded prices. This was a brief overnight stay for us as we were attending a party at a relative's house in West...
