Nice hotel for the wedding I attended.staff was helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was also helpful the next morning before having a long drive to get back home. Worth using if you have a wedding in the area.

I really loved the location of the hotel; nestled away from the main traffic; but very convenient to Main Street, stores, restaurants, and the highway. The complimentary breakfast was hot, ther was a selection of items, and the workers were very helpful and pleasant.

Nice room, with a great flat screen TV on the wall. Everything here was as expected from most Hamptons. My one point to make is this: You can walk 2 blocks to Main Street in Stroudsburg, and find numerous restaurants. We went to Siamsa & it was fabulous. There is also a Starbucks if you don't like the Hampton's weak coffee. Just be aware - the neighborhood between the hotel & Main St. is a little sketchy. Be sure to stay in a group & look around if you are walking back to the hotel in the dark. ... Read more

This hotel is just 2 blocks off Main Street in Stroudsburg, PA. It has a nice pool (small like most) but well maintained. It's in a great location with easy access to Interrstate 80. Also one can go for a run down Main Street and keep going on the road outside of town.

My alternator gave out when I was traveling; at night, on Memorial Day. I was in a panic! AAA towed my car to the shop and I located this hotel as my emergency landing spot. Couldn't have chosen better! The staff was completely accommodating and understanding. They even gave me a tiny tube of toothpaste! The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. I felt completely safe and secure and am so grateful I found this gem of a hotel!

While this hotel is date, damp and dark - the service and the room were acceptable. The hotel is due for an update (rooms) but they were clean. The service (digital) from Hampton was helpful - picking out a room, check-in and out. The staff did their job. But overall - there was nothing to come back for expect that it was an acceptable stay short term.

Stopped on the way to NYC. Wanted a short ride in the am so we could enjoy a full day in the city. A nice quiet town. Coffee 24-7 and cookies at the main desk. For a little over $100.00 a perfect stop, free parking, Internet, breakfast and a great nights sleep, only a short drive a little over an hour to Jersey City.

Stayed one night while in the area. Location might not seem the best at first, but its actually a short walk to several restaurants and businesses. We had a room with 2 double beds, small fridge. Comfortable accommodations. Friends stayed here also in a King Bed room which had a sofa. .Breakfast was standard Hamprton fare, but what made the place stand out was the front desk staff, as well as all others we came into contact with. Would stay again if in the area.

As a Hilton Honors member, I choose Hamptons when traveling with family because they have all the amenities we need; free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and decent accommodations. Upon arrival, the front desk employee discovered that one of the 3 rooms we had been assigned was actually out of service. Thankfully, a 3rd room was found for us on the same floor. In general, the King "Suites" were smaller in comparison to other Hamptons I have stayed in. There was barely enough room to open the sofa bed and... Read more

We were very pleased with the hotel. The hotel lobby and room were in very good condition; the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was up to par. I like that this hotel chain always has outlets for phones, etc. right by the bed where needed. The hotel is down the street from the main street of a cute little town, but it is also not far off route 80. It is also not far from the outlets, so it is generally a convenient location.

Stopped for an overnight here enroute to NYC. Typical Hampton Inn. Helpful staff, mediocre breakfast, clean room, uncomfortable bed/pillows. The pool....OMG gross! I can't even talk about it without wanting to retch. The bathroom in the pool area was just as bad...the toilet had overflowed and it was a disaster! Overall, the stay aside from the pool was fair. We just loved the Hampton Inn in Stroudsburg, Pa. What a quaint town and the hotel and their staff were just the best. From the moment we check in, they were kind and helpful. Always like the Hampton Inns. My only problem was the air conditioner. I don't know if they control the thermostat at night, but it was very warm in the room. We didn't see any thermostat on the walls. When I questioned about it at the desk, they couldn't give me an answer as to why it was warm.
