"Stage" at event NOT handicapped accessible: no handrails, no ramp!!! There was another event there at the same time which is great BUT with 2 major events going on at the same time, WHY was the parking on the west side of the building closed off for vendors???? There was definitely NOT enough parking spaces!!! Also, is it company policy for the housekeeping staff to come in to clean the room while the 4 occupants are in the room trying to get ready for the day? Since our bathroom was in use, ... Read more

The hotel was hosting two groups during my long weekend stay. The hotel was sold out. Everything was great except a couple of things. There were so many people that the dining area was overwhelmed at breakfast. Our group had an ice cream social. Considering the size of the group, two servings lines should have been set up. One serving line took a long time to process everyone. Staff left the serving line to start clearing tables, slowing down the serving process.

My wife and I stayed here as a little staycation after attending a banquet on site. The food for the banquet was excellent as it has been in the past. Our initial room was poolside, however, the odor of chlorine was a little strong for my wife. We requested an alternate room and the staff was more than happy to assist. In fact they were able to upgrade us to a suite. The suite was excellent and we were very pleased. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a place to stay in t... Read more

The property is old, but well maintained. There are a lot of rooms, but they are spread out; I don't believe any are above 2 floors. We were there for a conference & apparently there were a couple more conferences going on there at the same time. Part of our package included breakfast on the weekends and they were particularly unprepared for that. I believe they had options to deal with the crowd, but I believe they lacked staff. Nice Atrium, Resturant/Bar and indoor pool. Rooms and hotel smelled musty and moldy. The room was musty and moldy and the ceiling paint was peeling along with the walls. Front desk had excellent service in and out. The exercise room was very small and not up to date.

This trip was disappointing in that the room location requested and king bed was not honored. I was told that I had to be moved due to another reservation. This was the 1st time in 15 or 20 years I was disappointed. I've previously raved about you facility, food and personnel. I'm 71 yrs old, have a bad back and shoulders and had to lug my suitcase and seminar material up the narrow steps. NO elevator. Room 409

I was attending a conference at the Hotel and stayed here because of the cost of the rooms and convenience. It's not the best or worst hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, food was lousy so I ate out most nights. HVAC unit in room sounded like a freight train but it kept the room cool.

The hotel, overall is nice. The staff are great. The hotel is a little outdated but still in good shape. The cleaning personnel need to pay attention to the little things, such as the floor area along the wall under the head of the bed.

We fortunately needed accommodations for one night only over a sports tournament weekend. The rooms are small and outdated, and the motel layout is not conducive to socializing with teammates. I look for only a few features in a hotel: clean room, comfortable bed, effective temperature control and a relaxing shower. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to rate highly in any of these categories. Given the age of the property, fading paint, random stains and cracked tiles are expected, but this room ba... Read more

Here for a conference for two days. After two attempts at a unit with some sunlight I gave up as the staff doesn't know their own layout of the rooms. The rooms are decent for what you pay. The structure, however, is pathetic and needs a major overhaul. The conference center is new and is nice but the rest of the place looks like it was last overhauled in the 1990s and built in the 1970s. Outdated.

Walked in and there was a weird smell. Opened the fridge and there was a half eaten sandwich from Sheetz!! Nasty! The bed looked like someone had been either sitting or laying on it right before we got there. The A/C was so so. I had turned it way down to 66 so it would cool off in the room and the lowest it got all weekend was 73. Shower curtain smelled like BO, maybe they should take it down and wash it more often...or once!! Lastly, the comforter was on the bottom, and the sheet was on the to... Read more

I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it was not for the magnetic issue with my keys... had to switch out keys several times a day. The two saving graces of this property are the enthusiastic and responsive staff along with the great value for a comfortable bed. Otherwise, this is a poorly designed, WAY out-of-date property that should just be knocked down and replaced. Imagine, if you will, staying at your parents' (or grandparents') home and "enjoying" 70's decor, a decaying infrastructure, and door locks that have to be re-programmed daily. Add to that the property has only one elevator, so 2nd floor folks either have ... Read more

Well we were there for two nights. The first day on arrival we discovered that the AC unit was not working properly. So we had to call the maintenance 5 times while they tried to figure out the problem. After that the AC unit kept shutting off. The next night we had the fire alarm go off at 3am and honestly, there was no one around to guide/help. There was not any clear directions after the problem was resolved. This was the only room available during parent's weekend and now I know why. For $299/night you would think it would be "ok", but it was far from that. The first room I was given had a bathroom door that was chewed by some animal (I was hoping it was just a mouse).
