When first arriving at the hotel everything went smooth at 5:30! up comes 7:45-8:00 there was a team or big group staying on the same floor! They made a lot of noise! so i called down to the front desk and she said she would go talk to them! I kept peeing out and never saw her! The noise was all night long until about 5:15! But i had to get up a 6 so about no sleep at all! The morning breakfast was "OKAY" but I have had better!

I was warmly greeted upon arrival in this colonial feeling HI express. We stayed in a suite with one bedroom, two beds, a very large bathroom and living room with pull out sofa. The room was well appointed and comfortable for out one night stay while visiting Penn State. Also, Breakfast was great!

With my career, I am a true road warrior. I have not been home in over five months, in my travels, I am accustomed to receiving a full spectrum of service. At times, I am sure I present an unreasonable level of needs. This Property has had to deal with my complex needs and has gone far out of their way to accommodate me. The professional, friendly level of service is inspiring. The competency and efficiency of guest services is therapeutic. Don't doubt that I will be back. thank you all!! Speci... Read more

Expensive but comfortable stay. If you have a graduation from Penn State to attend, plan on booking a room a year in advance and spending 4-5x the normal rate. Yes all the hotels in May graduation weekend are hard to find and EXPENSIVE. The location was perfect for us being close to restaurants, shopping centers, and a requirement traveler need Starbucks. Have to drive to the campus but on the interstate exit and only 4 miles or so from the airport. The room was comfortable, clean, large, surpri... Read more

I stay in a lot of hotels for business but this one stands among the best. The front desk personnel were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and well laid out. The shower was superb. The complimentary breakfast included both hot and cold selections and all surfaces were kept clean. This was a great deal for the money and the neighborhood included many restaurants.

Stayed here twice for business trips. It's your standard Holiday Inn, very modern decor, rooms are nice. It's close to lots of dining options. Within walking distance of Olive Garden and Outback Steakhouse, short drive to many others. Right next to I-99, easy on and off to get in or out of town. Free parking, which can be hard to find in State College. Only drawback is I have stayed here twice, and both times they ran out of eggs for breakfast, never happened at any other Holiday Inn breakfast. ... Read more

Cassidy at the front desk listened to all my requests and could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Due to severe immunosuppression, she had my room deep cleaned, and provided a fridge for my room for my medications. Tami gave us directions to local places, and answered all our questions. The staff are remarkably friendly and accommodating. Top marks for excellent customer service!!

Comfy beds! Friendly Staff! Clean rooms! A great lobby made this a great stay for our swim team group's stay. Breakfast was good too. No fridges in room tho. And no pool. Those were the only bummers. The beds and pillows were VERY comfy.

I stay every time I go to state college to drop my kids at college. It's a very comfortable hotel for the price and the rooms and very spacious and comfortable. There is a bus stop right behind the hotel which makes going around easier. And there are many stores, like Walmart, target and other restaurants, around the place at a walkable distance. It is a very quiet place. And the breakfast in the morning is quite lavish for this budget. Must stay here when in state college.

My friend recommended this hotel after she stayed here during graduation weekend. My husband and I came to stay at this Holiday Inn last week and we're so glad that we did. I'm very picky where I stay because I like to get a good night sleep with no noises coming from other rooms as well as clean towels, sheets and pillows - this place checked off both those things. When we entered, we were welcomed by Navi and we had no problem with check-in since we reserved online the week prior. She helped u... Read more

I really enjoy this hotel its clean, It doesnt smell moldy, Everything you really need in a hotel. The only problem is the lack of microwaves and fridges in the rooms. The only bonus to this is the staff especially Gurpreet shes was so kind that she was able to hunt me down a microwave. Also upon checking in Navi did her best to upgrade us to a suite, however, due to the lenthy stay that was not possible, but she was very nice about it.

What a beautiful facility. We were visiting Penn State and needed a place to stay, this was perfect. We were 2 miles from Beaver Stadium and Bryce Jordan as well as the rest of the campus. Williamsburg Square is very pretty. This facility fit right in. Everyone was welcoming. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The breakfast was also good. If my son decides to go to PSU I know where to stay!

I'm an early riser, I like to enjoy working on computer projects in hotel lobbies before I start my day. This stay was super pleasant. The environment was calm and warm. Thank you to the staff. We loved that we were able to book this hotel for just one night at a reasonable price on a football weekend in State College. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute drive from the football stadium, which was really convenient. We had an excellent stay at this hotel. It was a great place to stay when we had a large family with a wide range of ages in need of rooms for a Penn State football game. The customer service is what stood out. The hotel was what you should expect of a Holiday Inn Express. My room was clean, but had a musty smell. This was something that I could overlook. Unfortunately, there was a power outage that occurred from 6:30 am to 7:30 am right when I was planning my morning preparations. It was also of concern that there was no emergency lighting of any sort in the main room or bathroom. Upon arriving to the hotel, we found the staff had soft pretzels and wings out on Friday night of Homecoming Weekend. They had our room ready but gave us options of what floor we would like to be on. There are a lot of hotels in State College PA. But during football season and parents weekend it is hard to find any availability so prices go up really high. I used miles because I really couldn't afford the almost 400 dollars a night. When I booked on-line I asked for two queens. I called up and let them know that my wife and I wouldn't arrive until almost midnight. When we got to the hotel all they had were rooms with two doubles. Told Joe that two doubles wouldn't work. We used this hotel as a 1 night stop on our way south. It is very nice. A bit more upscale than most. Very clean and well taken care of property. Nice breakfast choices. Only issue was the cranberry juice was barely pink water - OOPS. Easy location to find from I-99 with several dinner options within walking distance.
