Great place with indoor pool, free breakfast, and internet access. The price point was on target and the place is clean and modern. A nice lobby area with tables to eat, watch theft vans use your tablet. The fruit and cookies in the afternoon are a great touch!

Excellent complimentary breakfast. Many items to choose from. Yogurt, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bagels, cereal, fruit, juices, coffee, tea muffins, Danish etc. Clean spacious rooms with kind courteous staff. Excellent shower pressure and temperature. They have a great pool that my son enjoyed, and provided towels in the pool area along with a shower station and hot tub, weight room with high quality fitness apparatuses. After driving many hours and with no reservation I started looking for a hotel on my route. I spotted the Hampton and felt relieved as all my experiences with Hamptons have been positive. I checked in very late and left by 9 am after I ate breakfast.

No matter how many times you complain about the exercise room you get the same answer. Nothing. There is no air flowing in this overall small room, which the door is closed. The heat just builds up and when more than 3 people are there it starts to smell and the temperature rises. Complaints meaning nothing. I cancelled all my other trips there after 2 weeks of complaints

A great value...nice staff. The room was cozy, gym was decent. The front desk staff was accommodating. The breakfast was as expected, not many options for someone with food allergies and a desire to stay healthy.

Stayed here when I went to my son's graduation. Staff was friendly and room was great. Very clean and easy to get to Bucknell University from here. Parking was easy and they had an indoor pool and small gym. I was very happy with my stay.

Our stay here was exactly as we expected. Our experience with the Hampton Inn chain is that they are usually consistent. We had a comfortable, clean room. The breakfast was good as expected. The staff always seems welcoming.

We were traveling for a lacrosse game nearby. The next morning my husband woke with a bad headache. The girl at the front suggested we take a care pack she made for our three hour drive home. I was very impressed with this sort of help. Many thanks to all the personnel there.

The hotel is very attractive in appearance. The Breakfast buffet was good. The food was plentiful and hot. There was a variety of selections to choose from. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the hot-tub was out of order as was one of the three pieces of equipment in the fitness room. Which was a disappointment. The hotel entrance is rather difficult to find. There is a sign for the hotel but not a sign that tells you how to get into the parki... Read more

The room was fine. It was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was entirely too soft and felt as if there was some sort of topper on the mattress and it made it too soft. This is regular stop for us on our way to visit our granddaughters and I am sure we will stay there again.

The room was very clean and the free eggs, bacon etc. for breakfast was excellent!! The indoor pool was to be heated but it was cold to me. This hotel is a short trip to Elysburg and will be staying here again when visiting Knoebel's amusement park.

This was our third stay at this hotel. Rooms are clean, overall comfortable beds, but the pull-out sleeper sofa mattress was very thin and not comfortable. Room temp fluctuated a bit too much and was a tad noisey. Still, the overall value and comparison with the other hotels in the area leave this Hampton Inn the shining star of the area.

My wife and I along with our son stayed at the Hampton Inn in Selinsgrove over the 4th of July weekend. The facility is clean, newly remodeled, and very welcoming. The staff in general is very friendly and helpful. Specifically, Tina, who was there at the front desk for two of the days that we were there. Not only did she welcome us with a smile every time we saw her but she made sure that we knew about the 10% discount at Red Robin and quickly got fresh towels for the pool when we have run out.... We arrived quite late but because I had opted for the online check in, it was a breeze to get my key and settled in. The gentleman staffing the desk gave us a round of free water bottles since we all looked pretty tired. The room was nice and the breakfast enjoyable. The only caution, I would give is that it is very easy to miss the driveway to the hotel (at least late at night it was) so just be aware as you approach the hotel.

We always at the Hampton Inn in Shamokin Dam (Selinsgrove, PA) because it has clean rooms with decent amenities. We attend a family reunion here every year. We've stayed at almost every other hotel/motel in town but generally end up with this one. Selinsgrove is a college town (home to Susquehanna University) and also has a car racing track. There are also a lot of weddings and family reunions in the summer time so all of the hotels and motels fill up months in advance. The Hampton Inn is on... Read more

This hotel was a convenient option for our family's plans and is located on the highway in Shamokin Dam. We had mixed experiences with staff - sometimes very pleasant but often we felt as we were interrupting them from looking at their cell phones. We had problems with the plumbing/toilet which seemed to be resolved but started again. The pool was adequate for our school age children and the breakfast was fine. Breakfast staff was very pleasant.

Very comfortable stay after a long day at Knoebels, not too far away and this location has many restaurants and other quality shopping for anything you may have forgotten or need....within walking distance. Even with a full hotel, the place was quiet. Modern styled room. Pleasant stay. Traffic onto the hotel road can be tricky when busy. Toddler bounce land and putt-putt also available nearby.

Our room was nice and clean. The hotel was what we've come to expect from Hampton Inns. The only problem I had was that we got there at 4:30 and the room wasn't ready yet which was kind of odd. They offered the typical continental breakfast which was always good and the bed and linens were very comfortable. Oh, the entrance to the hotel was a bit tricky and could be marked better.

Nice location near many stores and restaurants. Leaving the hotel is a little difficult due to not being able to make a left turn, you are directed through a small residential area to a traffic light but after waiting over 10 minutes for the light to change we ended up going right and turning in a business to then be able to head north.
