The hotel is tucked away from everything in an industrial area. The snow plow blades outside the front entrance don't help the already tired run-down look of the place. There was no security locks at the back entrances. There was a boot in the mud beside the back door; a bag of trash outside our room door; a trail of potato chip crumbs up the stairs; there was a sickly sweet incense smell in the corridor that made my wife gag. The mattress was lumpy and when you lay down you got the feeling you... Read more

I walked into this hotel after calling 17 times with no answer and called again to make sure I could hear a phone ringing and watched the man ignore the phone and continue watching television. I tried to let this go. I asked if they had any rooms left, I would even take smoking if necessary. He gave me a smoking room. I asked to see the room first and he obliged. The room I saw was completely horrifying. There were cigarette burn marks in the blankets, there was brown spots on the walls and shee... Read more

This hotel is awesome for the price. The room we got was updated and clean. The water is hot in shower. Wifi is good. Breakfast was ok for a continental breakfast. It was very cold out and our room was on the north side of the building but you couldn't tell it was. It was so warm in the room when we got in it we had to turn on the cool air. Would definitely stay here again for the price.

I am a on the road salesman, I was working the area and suddenly a storm hit, I wanted off the road and stopped here. There weren't busy and the staff was helpful in food suggestions as well as giving me a room in the rear to escape road noise. While it was what some would call a budget motel but they were very nice to me, take other reviews with a grain of salt.

Very dirty room. Holes in the sheets. It really gave me the creeps. There were no bedbugs, but then again, there weren't any on the freight train I hopped when I was 20 years old. I've traveled all over the world, and this was really bad.

I've traveled all around the country, by car and motorcycle, so I've stayed in plenty of roadside motels. I took a chance when I stopped here for the night en route from Cape Cod, MA, to North Carolina. What a pleasant surprise, and a good choice. The front-desk clerk was polite and helpful. The room is very clean. The bathroom had plenty of towels and hotel toiletries. And the price of the room for the night was unbeatable. It's rare to find such a winning combination at a budget hotel--thus my... Read more

Dirty, smelly, noisy and dirty. Sheets stained and cigarette holes. Dirty carpets...Do all you can to find another place. They have a pool, but it wasn't open, they said. I doubt it's ever open. We actually checked in, but demanded our money back upon seeing the rooms.

Traveling through needing a place to stay. We found a coupon for $40 a night for econo lodge & Rodeway inn. We first went to Rodeway inn. They refused to honor the coupon stating it was only for smoking room upstairs which he said were full. He tried to sell us a room downstairs for $49.95+. We checked out the motel next door which was a dump. Decided to find the Econo lodge. It was a little hard to find because you can't see it from the road. The hotel was off the road so it was quite. ... Read more

Since my last stay here about two years back, they've apparently done some remodeling. Our room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast is basic, with bagels, english muffins, pastries, two types of cereal, milk, coffee, apple and orange juice. I have to say, that their coffee is about the best I've gotten at a motel. They have a machine that makes your coffee fresh. I sure couldn't tell it was instant coffee, and I drink my coffee black. The employees I interacted with were... Read more

This was one of the least expensive hotels near the montage mountain pavilion. After reading bad reviews, I was a little hesitant, but already booked. Anyways, the front desk attendant was helpful in allowing us to check in early. Our room wasn't quite ready yet, but housekeeping finished it quickly. The rooms seemed clean and renovated. I don't have any complaints. The pool was open and clean. If you need a clean, inexpensive place to stay, it's worth it!

Stayed here 1 night- a stopover during a 12 hour road trip. Run down property- hallways actually had beer cans and cigarette butts on the floor ( to be fair, it was very late when we checked in). Okay for a place to lay your head if you don't want to spend a lot. If you're easily disgusted though, spend a few more bucks and stay somewhere else.

My room was newly remodeled, the bed was extremely comfortable, the towels were a nicer quality that some more expensive hotels which seem to make them rough to discourage stealing. The shower was also excellent. I had to get used to the fact that the lights and fan turned on automatically when I entered the room and off fifteen minutes after I left.

We got here late at night after a long day of flights from israel. The room was great not fancy but really good to lay your head and have a nice warm shower. The room and bathroom was clean. The WiFi was really good. Worth the price! I reccomand this motel!

The Staff and Service at this motel was very good. The room was clean, up-to-date, plenty of plug-ins, and quite. Excellent Tour Bus Parking as the Paved lot was wide and well maintained. Parking available on side and behind Motel. Easy Off and On to I-81 at Exit 182.

My wife & I were traveling and just stayed for 1 night. The price was remarkably low. The Lodge was a little "hidden" behind a major US Post Office. Easy to find with my GPS. I think that I would have missed it without a GPS. It is a rather old (???) motel but has a nice pool. There is an unoccupied restaurant accessable from the lobby. The motel is clean & well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The staff tried hard to please us. I'd stay there again.
