I was in Reading for a family reunion. Because of the location, the price and the quaint looking style from their photos, I reserved tow nights here. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, though our room did smell of stale cigarette smoke. This would have been easily overlooked if I had not been rudely awakened several times throughout the by a couple in a domestic disputes and then, the early morning hotel traffic. The riff raff that stay there on Saturday night are loud and class... Read more

RUN AWAY!!! Do not even think of staying here!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have no idea what has happened to this place. It used to be a nice friendly place and I had stayed several times before. Nothing fancy but just fine. I don't even know where to start. The room had some trash on the floor when I entered and the bedspread looked like someone had laid on it. That should have been the hint. I took out my computer and checked emails. I then went to the restaurant/bar for some dr... Read more

You could not stay in a better place! Vintage charm and class. Close to all interstates and points of interest. Samantha and Adam (staff at the front desk) truly cared about us. This is despite of the fact we had landed a great deal for our stay on an internet site! When they realized we were travelling with two small pets, they selected a spacious room for us, with room to spare for all. Cannot say enough about the total experience here. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK on our next trip to Readin... Read more

We went there because it was pet friendly. The rooms are clean and the staff are well trained and polite. The hotel is dated and needs some upgrading. It is busy though as it seems a lot of bus tours stop there. If you have pets and are traveling this is an average hotel that you can stay in with no issues.

The hotel was very busy with weddings and other celebrations. The front desk checked us in efficiently and with a friendly manner. Our king room was spacious and clean. The bathroom needs a little updating but was surely usable. Noise from the hallway was fairly loud a couple of times but it was always brief. They delivered a paper copy of the charges under the door and we left the key in the room. So checkout was a breeze. Overall we found this a fine place to stay.

The Inn at Reading is a great place to stay and it offers a nice restaurant, tavern large pool and pool bar and almost resort like feeling inside the motel complex. The property is set up surrounding the green with the pool and there is a gazebo with a waterfall and large grounds and the entire area is very private. This was our 4th stay here but it had been about 10 years and we had forgotten just how nice it is. Our room was very nice and large, the Friday night happy hour, dinner and music trio ar... Read more

I stayed at this beautiful hotel few days ago and enjoyed my stay. Employees are very courteous and go above and beyond to help you. After check out I saw low air in my car tire and as I was looking at it, one of the managers stopped and asked if he can help. He immediately took a small compressor from his car and put air. It was very good experience. The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed a couple of drinks by the pool when entertainment was going on. I definitely recomend this hotel.

My son and I checked in to wing 5 and everything was fine. Had an enjoyable couple of hours at the pool and pool bar. The bad stuff happened after we settled in for the night. People running through the halls screaming, which you could easily hear in the room, knocking on doors randomly and then at 2:15AM the phone rang, which we did not answer assuming it was the same pranksters that were problematic through the night. Well it only rang once more and the it was done for the evening except for... Read more

Attending an event here. The room was clean, non smoking and comfortable. Our bathroom had an additional seperate sink as well as the one by the shower and toilet. Unfortunately unless you have your own hairdryer you still monopolize the full bathroom. Fortunately I always have a back up dryer and was able to use the outside sink area.

The room service was excellent and the beds very snug and cozy. Also the room was very quite and the folks at the desk more than pleasant. Overall great stay and we stayed for the week! Pool is also very well kept. The only down side would be the TV's, passé or antiquated would be putting it mildly! Although the repair man (onsite) went out of his way to try and please us, putting another TV in front of the existing one! Still blurry though. Other then that very pleasurable stay. Did I m... We attended our friends wedding and stayed here for two nights. The room was very good and the catering of the wedding was excellent! They put us in an executive level room and we had so much space. The only thing that kept me from rating it excellent was that the internet was spotty and the TV was to small. Everything else about the room was very good. And there wedding was catered really well. The appetizers were delicious and the dinner food was great. The staff did a great job looking after ... Read more

Booked thru Hotwire..guess you get what u pay for (the cheap seats) NO nightstands, NO clock/radio. I did call front desk, she acted surprised that I didn't have any and said she would tell house keeping..I never got either. I have stayed here many times in the past 2 years. This is the first time I had this experience and I sure hope it is the last time!! Everyone was nice. I'll admit that. Food at on site restaurant is good and service is good there. My room was clean and the housekeepers were... Read more

My family and I were traveling east for a family reunion and stopped at The Inn at Reading to spend the night. We were greeted by Jodi at the front desk who took very good care of us we checked in and used the Pool for a bit it was very clean. We then showered and went to their Restaurant/Bar the food was good but Angie the bar maid helped us feel right at home. We'll be passing thru that area later this month and will be sure to stop again.

I stayed at the Inn last August for the same event as this year and last year it was awesome. This year the person making reservations was confused and didn't book correctly, then I was "upgraded" to an "executive" room which was large and had good features BUT it was noisy, the bed was not comfortable, the cabinet door was broken and not repaired when I reported it, the ironing board was rickety, the desk damaged, and worst of all there was a rodent glue trap visible under an end table.

We stayed again for 2 nights this year and our experience was even more pleasant than the last year. Everything was great from check-in to check out. Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. We requested some extra amenities for our kids and the manager delivered it with smile. He made sure that we had a fabulous stay. Our kids enjoyed pool and basket ball in the courtyard while we had a couple of drinks at cabana bar. We also enjoyed hot Breakfast. We will be back next summer.

This is a nice hotel with very friendly staff. The room is not fancy but comfy beds and big room. They have a nice pool and cabaña area to relax. The restaurant is very pretty with a small menu and some specials. Our fish and chips with onion soup was great. Very attentive evening staff. The customer service was great. This hotel is 5 minted from the VF Outlet complex. Perfect after a long day shopping or a long meeting. I know we will go back again when in the area.

I recently checked into the Inn at Reading to overnight before my wedding. I requested a 6ft table be brought to my room for me to use for hair and makeup and was pleased to find it there upon my arrival. I asked for some decorative items for the wedding to be stored short term and the staff was very accommodating and assisted with no issues. I ordered room service and the server was very happy and pleasant, he forgot an item that was quickly resolved by Heiko the restaurant manager. On Sun... Read more

Room smelled, tv didn't work, no refrigerators in the room. You can get a room with a refrigerator, but it will cost you more. The outside doors to access your room did not work, bar staff is very unfriendly, the bar by the pool is not open during the hours as stated. Maybe back in the 80's this place was a luxury, posh place, far from it now!
